Medusa was as much part of the supernatural as any common werewolf or vampire, in fact some even feared she was more real then they ever would be. She was seen a villain to the gods, a Greek beauty corrupted by man himself and forsaken into a pure exquisite existence tinted with anger. She was a literal definition of hell on heels when she first lived.

And then of course she was beheaded, cursed to the after life and underworld where she would live out eternity alongside those like her, monsters.

For eons she spends damnation with the likes of Lucifer, Cerces, and Hades, in a realm like no other where her and the rest of the banished learn and grow. Together they festered the hate they have for the real world and watch it burn, becoming rampant with monsters just like them, both human and none. Medusa grows to learn she is more then just a pretty face, to find that the curls of snakes wrapped around her head were more then just to make stone and most importantly, she finds within herself the insatiable thirst to see humanity pay for all the years she was made to endure. She vows that one day her entrance back to earth will be met with more mayhem and force then even the Titans could have accomplished.

Of course this is all up to chance as the Underworld was an impenetrable fortress to enter, but no one would be crazy enough to help any of the banished out. Or so once thought because when someone is pushed with desperation, when someone is willing to risk everything they've got in order for peace, they turn to even the darkest of monsters in history.

Before the Harvest ritual and the ploy of the Originals, witches in New Orleans had conjured up another entity, one that could vanquish Marcel and his clan with a single look. And so they proceeded to bring out one of the gods worst, picking at random they rose Medusa from her grave. With the intention to use her and then send her back down below, the witches underestimate their desperation against her own and thus unleash a powerful force into New Orleans with no means to stop her.

I really really fucking love season 1 okay, like the pilot was such an incredible episode. Recently I ran out of shows to watch so I decided to rewatch the Originals because the first season was everything and then I remember my old plot I had. She was a sort of witch in the first one and then I realized I didn't like that idea much so I started looking into Greek gods and came up with Medusa who has always been one of my fave! 

I also don't know who she would be paired with so who do you think? This was Originals a Klaus fic and I'm like 85% sure it'll remain one but I'm also venturing out into the other siblings.

Anyways, please don't make any comments and references of other tv shows I despise it. And also I don't own any plot lines of the Originals I only own Medusa's story arch as well as any other OC that might show up!
