( The next day, Luke slowly woke up from his trip through the portal. As he opened his eyes,  he found himself in a room made of stone and clay. While his bed was your usual bed, only with four pillars on the four corners. Which held up the rest of the bed, along with the bed having drapes on three sides of the bed. That being the front left and right sides of the bed. Luke looked around at his surroundings and found that he was in what seemed like a guest bedroom)

" Ok, so where exactly am I? This place looks like the medieval times. Which means that I'm either in the past or in another dimension. I'm going to choose a different dimension." Said  Luke as two women in medieval armor opened the door and walked into his room. " Good, you're awake young one. Thats good,  please follow us. The king and queen would like to meet you. But first, please put on the armor and clothing that you see over there." Said the woman with dark yellow hair. " We'll wait for you outside young one. The queen herself would like to meet you." Said the dark-haired woman that had a greatsword on her back. The two women then walked out of Luke's room while also closing the door behind them.

( As Luke puts on the armor and clothing. He takes a minute to admire the armor. After doing that. He opened his door, where the woman where waiting patiently for him)

" Ready to go, good. Now just follow us to the throne room. By the way, my name is Heather and this is Jen." Said the dark yellow-haired woman. " Welcome to the kingdom of Eonus.  The most peaceful place in the world. Or at least it was until we were attacked a couple of years ago." Said Jen as they reached the throne room. There, Heather, Luke, and Jen knelt before the king and queen who were sitting on their thrones. " We have brought the young boy my king, my lady." Said  Heather.

" So this is the boy that you found in the woods. He is a young lad. Tell me, boy, what were you doing in the forest." asked the king. " To be honest, I really don't know. I can't really remember what happened." Said Luke as he rubbed his head. " I must have been very taxing, whatever it is. for our knights to find you in the woods at night. My name is Queen Ayla, and this is my husband John. We are the rulers of this kingdom." Said Ayla. " It's nice to meet you, my king and queen. My name is Luke. That is as far as I can remember." Said Luke, noticing the glare that the king was giving him in the corner of his eye.

" It is great to meet you, Luke. Sorry for the quick introduction. The king wanted to meet you before he left to lead our forces into battle." Said the queen as the king quickly stood up from his throne and walked down the stairs, then walked out of the throne room. " ( Waits till the throne room door is closed and then signals Jen to lock it. Before leaving back on her throne and resting her head on her left hand). Ok, child, you can drop the missing stuff and the formalities. I'm honestly not the type of woman who likes that kind of stuff." Said  Ayla. " So you just play your part unless it's just you or people that you trust and know you?"Asked Luke as Jen walked next to Ayla. " Pretty much yes, now can can you really explain how you git here?" Asked  Heather as she looked at him. 

" Sure, I came through a portal that took me from my dimension or time. Then dropped me off in yours. " Said Luke. " So that who different reality thing isn't completely crazy. We did see a portal behind you before it closed. But back to the matter at hand. " Said  Heather. " You've come at a horrible time kid. We're at war with a dark kingdom. One that is bent on conquering our lands. The king is the one who started this whole thing. Now because of him. Every kingdom is in danger because he led an army to invade a territory unprovoked. We and four other kingdoms are the only ones that stand in the way of the dark kingdom's forces." Said Jen. " As is their right to do so. The king brought this on himself,  but the rest of you should not have to pay for his mistake. Won't the other kingdoms allow some of you to live in their kingdoms? You know, for those that have no part in this war?" Asked Luke. 

" We tried. But the king is forbidding anyone from leaving the kingdom. The fool is going to get everyone killed. We'll be lucky to survive if we are ever attacked." Said Heather. " My husband's foolishness aside. Heather will teach you how to use that sword. Though it pains me to say it,  but I am glad that you are here dear boy. Maybe you can escape this wretched place and steel the tail of my husband's folly." Said Ayla. " Forgive me Ayla, but I will not leave when there are innocent lives in danger." Said Luke as Heather rubbed his right shoulder with her left hand. 

" You've got a good heart young man. Tell you what, if you can find a safe route for us and those who wish to leave. Without getting spotted by my king's sentries. I will agree to find as many people as I can who wish to leave. For now, off to sword practice with you." Said  Ayla as  Luke and Heather left the room. " There is something special about that boy. The timing of his arrival is too spot on." Said  Jen. " Agreed, the king must not hinder him like he has done our fair kingdom. Gather your warriors and have them prepared for anything." Said  Ayla, as she watched Jen nod her head and then leave the throne room.

( Over with Luke twelve minutes later)

" ( Grabs a wooden sword and then tosses one to  Luke as he catches it). The queen wants me to train you in how to use a sword.  So I will teach you what I know young squire." Said  Heather as she got into a ready stance with her sword held along her body. " I am ready for the first lesson then, Miss Heather." Said Luke as he got into his own ready stance. Where his sword was held with both hands and the blade pointed up. His legs were spread out at an angel, with the left back foot on the ball of his foot. " ( Looks at Luke's stance with a smile). Not bad, that stance seems to have promise. We'll just have to refine it, now let's begin." Said Heather as she and Luke began is training.
