So before knowing the theory which I think..

When u go out suddenly from a dark room to outside.. your pupil constricts.. because it cannot take all the light in.. and so it constricts and allows only some light pass through it.

Imagine you went into a theatre, first you would not be able to see anything.. and then your pupil dilates, to allow maximum light so that you can even see things in dark (even retinal cells also play role)

So... This is my theory!! Don't know how much of it is correct!!

When a person kisses, there will be adrenaline rush in the blood.. which is sympathetic neurotransmitter and causes pupil to dilate!!

Soo later maximum light entire the eye, which may cause pain or watering.. so reflexly they close the eyes!!
