Guys!! You may encounter people having seizures (fits)

Few don't s

Don't put any keys in hands.. there is no use of it!!

Don't give any tablets while the episode.. because while u pour water and tablet.. they may go into lungs instead of esophagus and may result in aspiration pneumonia.. as there will be no cough reflex during the episode of fits!;

Few Do's

Get the patient to a safe place.. keep things away from him.. to prevent from injuries!!(let him lie on ground and take care not to let him fall to avoid injury to his head)

After the episode...Keep the patient in lateral position than supine(flat) to drain of any oral secretions. And to avoid the tongue from falling back!!

If the episode continues.. take him/her to emergency department.. so that he/she will receive Emergency injections and not tablets!!

This is just a first aid..
And observe the patient so that you can give details to the doctor (if there is any aura before the episode like different behaviour, rolling up of eyes during the episode, drowsiness after the episode called post ictal drowsiness
