It had been a few weeks since the team got V back. She was finally starting to come to terms with what had happened.

It was the weekend and they were all hanging out at the mech, when they got a ping on Seth Harper's location.

They had drones flying around, looking for him, and one of them had finally picked up a sighting.

The team ran to their centres.
"You ready guys?" Ryan asked.
A mix of yeps and yeses were heard.
"V?" Spyder asked.
She hesitated for a second. She was scared to see her kidnapper, but she knew she could finally get her revenge.
"Hell yea." was her reply.

The team arrived at the location, and left the mech a short distance away. They walked over a hill, and saw the man himself, staring out into the openness of the field around them.
"I knew you would come." He said.

The team looked at each other, he was expecting them. Perfect.
Seth turned around to the the team a few meters away from him.
"Hello Veracity. How are you feeling?" He smiled.
Veracity just glared at him.
"Oof, not one for talking huh? Just like your mother." He laughed.
V was shaken at the comment, but returned her glare quickly.
"Why did you lead us here?" She said.
"Someone is waiting for you." Seth smirked.

The team turned around. They saw Grey, standing there, smiling, with her hands at her hips and her hair in a perfect ponytail like Veracity.
"Hi darling." Grey said, her tone not warming up whatsoever.
Veracity shuddered.
"Don't. Call. Me. That." She stammered.

Spyder placed a hand on her shoulder to calm her. She took a deep breath.
"Why are you here." V asked.
"Am I not allowed to want to see my daughter?" Grey said innocently.
"No. Not when you are a deranged monster." V spat back.
"I'd watch your tone with me young lady." Grey snapped back.
"Make me." V glared.

The guys eyes widened in shock. Did Veracity really just say that. To Grey!? This wasn't going to end well.

"You will soon learn to respect me darling." Grey smiled.
"Why do you figure that?" V asked.
"Because I'm going to court." Grey smiled wider.
V tilted her head in confusion and looked over at her friends who just shrugged.
"I am fighting your fathers for sole custody." Grey said the last two words loudly.

Veracity collapsed to her knees. She stared at the ground in disbelief. But there was more.
"And I will win, because I am using your Uncle Seth's money to bribe my way in." Grey laughed.
V looked up.
"Uncle Seth!?" She screamed.
"Yep that's me. I forgot to mention that. Grey is my sister." Seth chuckled.

V began to shake. Her whole world was falling apart again. Her vision blurred and she could feel herself gasping for air. She felt Spyder put his hand on her shoulders, and look into her eyes.
"V," he whispered, "it's gonna be okay. We're gonna best this okay."
V shook her head.
"We can't. It's over. I'm done." She panted.

Spyder stood up in a fit of rage. How could these monsters do this to Veracity!? She was such an amazing girl and they were ruining her life! Harris could sense his best friends emotion.
"Spyder no." He said.
"You can't take them alone." Mark added.
"I'll help." Ryan said.
Spyder nodded at him.
Mark sighed and nodded too.
Harris threw his hands up in defeat.
"I'll stay with V" he said.

The three boys charged at Seth and Grey. The villains laughed and charged too. They fought, Ryan and Mark were on Seth and Spyder was on Grey. Ryan and Mark got thrown back by Seth, who was a lot stronger than Grey.

Spyder managed to knock out Grey, but didn't see Seth coming up behind him.
"SPYDER LOOK OUT!!!" Ryan yelled.
Spyder turned, but it was too late, a knife was stabbed into his gut, and pulled out. He screamed and dropped to the ground.

Veracity heard Spyder's scream and snapped out of her panic attack. She snapped her head up, to see her crush laying on the ground, and Seth standing above him, laughing. The others were in too much shock to move, but V ran over to Spyder and held his face in her hands.

"No. Spyder. Please stay with me." She pleaded. The tears were streaming down her face now. She didn't care anymore. She couldn't lose Spyder.
"V..." Spyder coughed. He winced in pain.
"I've always loved you." He smiled weakly.
"I-I did too." V cried.
Spyder then fell limp in her arms. Veracity closed his eyes and laid him down in the grass. She stood up, eyes blazing with fury, and jump on Seth.

She screamed and punched him, and made him pay for everything he has done.
To her.
To her life.
To Spyder.
She screamed as she hit him, Seth tried to fight back but couldn't manage to get a hit in. Veracity was blinded by rage as she beat Seth, the same way he beat her.
She punched and kicked and screamed until Seth was unconscious, and she collapsed to the ground in a mass of blood and tears.

The team had now regained their senses and ran over to Veracity. They were all crying, and they cried together, until they had no more tears left.

They stood up, and realized that there were cop sirens in the distance, they must have gotten a call saying someone heard screaming. They couldn't risk their identities, so they ran back to the mech and back to their base.

No one spoke the whole way back. All everyone could think about was that their friend, teammate, family member and their glue was dead. Spyder would never crack a badly timed joke again, or come up with a really cool name for a monster.

And worse of all, Veracity never got to spend her life with him. She wanted to be with him, but now he was gone. Forever.

They had arrived back at the Bay, and no one had spoken, until V said something.
"He would want us to be happy. Honour his life. Not mourn it." She whispered.
They all nodded.

Their glue may have died in the fight, but his spirit would live on in the team forever. Especially in Veracity.

Wow okay. That happened. To be honest this was not where I was gonna go with this story but I kinda just happened. I'm sorry but like yea. The next chapter will be the final chapter, and then yea. Thanks for reading!
