Mark's new girl Part 2

The final thought Mark had before he slipped into unconsciousness was, 'this is all my fault.'

Cam had just captured the Mech-X4 crew, and was currently awaiting in the office of her boss. While she waited, she was looking around the dark office, remembering the time when she had agreed to join him in his quest for world domination.

Flashback

Camellia was headed home from school one day, just like she did everyday. She walked inside, threw her bag on the ground, and called out for her parents.
"Mom! Dad! I'm home!"
There was no reply.
"Mom?" She said as she walked into the kitchen. Nothing.
"Dad?" She shouted as she ran into the living room.
She knew they were home, their car was in the driveway.
"Hey come on guys. Where are you?" She asked as she started going up the stairs to their room.
"Mom! Dad! Where are-" she started.
She let out an ear piercing scream at what she saw before her.
In her parents room, she saw her mother laying motionless on the ground. She was beaten and bloody with some sort of slice marks covering her entire body.
"Mom! Momma! No!" Cam cried as she crumbled to the floor and began to shake.
"Momma please. No..." she cried and cried, until she remembered her father was still missing as well. She walked over to their ensuite bathroom, still shaking from the sight of her murdered mother.
She found her father in the bathroom, laying on his back. He had burn marks all over his body. He had 4 gunshot wounds that she could see, and in his hand was his cellphone, covered in blood.
When she managed to stop shaking, she walked over to her dead father and looked at the cellphone screen. She began to scream and cry at what she saw. On the screen it was a message in progress to My Beautiful Daughter:(cam)
I love y

She dropped to her knees in pain and sorrow. She sat there for what felt like hours, until she had no tears left to cry. She needed to get out of this house. She remembered the one relative she had that she knew how to contact. It was her uncle. Uncle Seth.
She ran out of her old home, and kept running until she found the place where her parents told her to go if she was ever in trouble.
It was a dark alley in the sketchy part of town. She stood their and waited, she didn't know what she was waiting for, but she waited.
"Hello Camellia" a cold and raspy voice said through the darkness.
"He-llo" her voice cracked since her throat was still so dry from crying.
"You're parents were slaughtered." He spoke. It was more a statement than a question.
"Y-es" she managed.
"You are angry." He replied.
Cam didn't realize this, but her fists were white from clenching them for so long.
"Yes." She replied more sternly.
"You want revenge." He stated once more.
"Yes." She replied. It was like she was in a trance when speaking with this man.
"I will give you your revenge Camellia, but you must join me. Harvest your anger to help me claim world domination." The man laughed evilly when he said the last words.
"Yes sir." Camellia replied coldly.

Two years later, she was still following her uncle Seth blindly, agreeing to do everything he wanted her to do. Ever since her parents were murdered, she felt empty and cold inside. The sweet innocent girl that once was was replaced with this cruel heartless monster. She was Seth's best warrior, and she never failed him.

End of flashback

Cam was snapped out of her thoughts when the door to the office clicked open.
"I presume the mission was a success?" Seth asked.
"Yes sir. The crew of Mech-X4 is still unconscious in one of your cells downstairs." Cam replied.
"Very good. Once again, you have not failed me. I will reward you soon enough. Dismissed." Seth said to the emotionless girl in front of him.
"Yes sir." She said as she left the room.

•••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••

The guys have been unconscious in the cell for 1 hour before Spyder was the first to wake.
"Ughh my head" Spyder said, as he sat up. He tried to place a hand on his head, before he realized he was chained to the wall by his wrists. He looked around him to see he was surrounded by his unconscious friends, chained up like him. He was in a bright white room, with thick steel bars that looked like they had some sort of energy source flowing through them. Spyder then redirected his attention to his friends, who were starting to stir.
Harris was the second to wake, shortly after Spyder had. It took him a minute to adjust to his enclosure before turning to Spyder.
"Where are we?" Harris asked.
"Not sure. That Camellia girl took us here though." Spyder replied. Harris turned to look at his chains to see if there was any weakness in them.
Nothing.
He looked at their wrists to see that all of their mech links had been removed.
"Great. We're stuck here." Harris said mainly to himself.
Ryan was next to wake.
"Guys. Are you all alright?" He groaned.
"Yea just a small headache. Are you okay?" Spyder replied.
"Yea. Do you guys know where we are?" Ryan asked.
"No. All we know is that Camellia took us here." Harris said.
Mark began to stir.
He let out a pained groan. He was in the worse condition as the paralysis took awhile to wear off, but it did.
"Mark!" Ryan quietly shouted to his brother.
Mark opened his eyes. He breathed a sigh of relief as he realized he could feel his legs and body again. But then panicked when he realized he was chained up.
All of the events that had happened a few hours before came back to him.
"Mark! Calm down!" Ryan shouted. Mark hadn't realized he was hyperventilating. He took a minute to steady his breathing before speaking with the team.
"I'm so sorry." He said quietly.
He knew that all of this was his fault. If he hadn't of fallen for Cam, none of this would have happened.
"Mark. Don't be sorry. You couldn't have known." Ryan said reassuringly.
"I know but, I should have been more careful!" Mark yelled at himself.
"Awe come on babe, don't beat yourself up." Cam said smirking.
"I am not your babe." Mark sneered at the chuckling villain.
"Aww you're so cute when you're mad." Cam said pinching his cheeks.
Mark lunged at her, but it was pretty ineffective considering the chains.
Cam smiled. She had her weapons tied to a belt on her pants. Ryan spent Marks distraction trying to blow them up on her. Unfortunately, Cam noticed, and laughed.
"Listen kid. The boss has been studying your powers for months now, don't think he wouldn't make technopath-proof weapons and cells before kidnaping you."
"But how...I can control all technology!" Ryan said dumbfounded.
"Not this kind" she said, swinging her electro- rod around, "the boss made it from a special type of ooze infused metal, your stupid powers have no affect on any technology in this whole building."
The teams jaws fell open. Ryan's powers were how they always got out of situations like this. They had no plan. No way of escape. They were just going to have to play by her rules, for now.
"The boss will want to speak with you soon. I'll go get him and we'll get down to business"
She said coldly, before leaving the room.

••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••

Some time had passed before Camellia came back in, with Seth following close behind her.
"Seth" Ryan spat out like his name was a spitball.
"Hello Ryan, Mark, Harris, other one I don't care about." Seth smiled.
"Spyder. It's Spyder!" Spyder exclaimed.
Seth ignored the comment and unraveled his master plan for his prisoners, something every classic villain does.
"I'm sure you've all had the pleasure of meeting my wonderful niece here, Camellia." Seth started.
"Niece!?" The boys all exclaimed.
"Yes. This is my uncle Seth." Cam said gesturing to the evil mastermind hovering over the boys.
"Now let me speak!" Seth yelled. Everyone went silent in fear.
"Now, as I was saying. I have finally designed a technology that you cannot affect Ryan Walker. With it, I will conduct your demise. Using your brother as the bait, is just apart of my plan to break you. You are the centre of this whole story...er I mean world!" Seth explained.
Ryan shuddered. He knew what Seth could do to him, but scared him more, is what he would do to the ones he loved.
"Leave them all out of this Seth!" Ryan yelled, pulling against his chains. They didn't budge of course.
"Now where's the fun in that?" Seth laughed.
"Camellia, bring up the table."
Cam nodded and pressed a button on the wall, that opened a big hole in the ground, where a large white, metal table popped out of.
"Let's see...let's get right into this, shall we? Camellia, strap Mark to the table. He will be our first victim today." Seth said, the coldness in his voice, enough to send chills down the spine of anyone.
"No! Leave him alone!" Ryan yelled, pulling on his chains. Seth laughed at the boys futile attempt at escape and motioned Camellia over to Mark.
"Now do this peacefully, and I won't hurt you again." Cam ordered. Mark nodded and she released him from his chains. Mark took the small opportunity of escape that he had, launching himself at Cam and tackling her to the ground. Seth was standing in the doorway, watching, as Mark struggled for freedom.
Cam was too skilled for him though.
When Mark tackled her to the ground, she was on her back, with him on top of her, trying to hold her down. She lifted her legs backwards and kicked him in the back over and over again. When he released his grip ever so slightly, she pushed him off of her and jumped onto him.
"Mark!" Harris shouted. He used his eyes to point to the weapon that hung around her waist. As Mark grasped for the weapon, he was too slow and Camellia noticed. She punched him in the face once, startling him, and then punched him over and over again, until his struggle ceased. Mark lay on the ground, covered in his own blood that fame from various parts of his face. When Camellia punched him, it cut him, she was wearing a ring.
"Mark! Mark!" Ryan was shouting. He was still pulling against his chains, ignoring the tearing skin at his wrists.

Camellia picked up Mark and strapped him down to the table. Mark was too weak to protest any further.
Seth, who had watched the whole scuffle from the doorway, walked in as if nothing had happened.
"Okay. Let's get started shall we?" Seth nodded to Cam. She left the room and shortly after, a tall man in a pure white outfit came into the room. He must have been a scientist.

When Cam left the room, she went into the surveillance area. She always monitored the tortures from the screens, but never in person. It reminded her too much of her parents' deaths. Seth had agreed to her plea, as he didn't want her to become weak for their victims.

"Seth! Please don't do this!" Ryan pleaded with the psychopath.
"We won't do anything too harmful, not yet anyways." Seth said.
"We just want to give him a taste of what will only get worse if you refuse to answer my questions." He finished.
Ryan gulped. The others knew what he was thinking. He couldn't give up their secrets, for anything, but Ryan couldn't bare to see his brother in pain.

Seth gave a nod to the scientist, who brought over a long black rod, it had a sharp tip at the end, that was almost needle-like.
Mark's eyes widened at the sight of this, he knew he had to take whatever they threw at him, he couldn't let Ryan reveal their secrets, but he hated needles. Ryan knew of this fear.

"Okay, give him a little taste." Seth said smirking. The scientist did as told and walked over to Mark with the long black rod in hand.
He pushed a button of some sort, on the handle, and the tip shocked with electricity.
'Great. They're gonna shock me again." Mark thought as the scientist inspected Mark, almost as if he was judging where to bring the pain down first.
"Do it on his chest." Seth started. "I don't have time to waste. We need to get the truth out of Ryan quickly."
The scientist nodded once more.
He held the rod up and slammed it down onto Mark's chest. The needle roughly pierced the skin, and sent a jolt of electricity through Mark's body. From the inside.
Mark thrashed around on the table, but it was no use. He was bound and his teammates had to watch him go through extreme suffering.
"Okay. Enough." Seth finally said. The scientist removed the needle from Mark's chest. When he did, Mark's head fell forward and he groaned in pain.
"This is only a sliver of the pain that will come to them Ryan." Seth said, gesturing to his brother and friends. "Every time you refuse an answer, this happens," he continued as he walked over to Mark and pulled open his button up shirt. The skin where the device had made contact was already bruised from the impact and their was a bad electrical burn around the bloody needle prick.
Ryan gasped in horror. The wound was awful, and his friends would receive more if he didn't cooperate.
"So. I think we can start the interrogation then?" Seth said clapping his hands together.
"But get this one out of here. He's too weak and we don't want him dying on us, yet."
As if on cue, Cam walked back into the room, untied the limp Mark, and chained him back up to the wall.
"Who's next boss?" She asked.
"The annoying one. I want to see how he deals with this." Seth said, pointing at Spyder.
"C'mon kid. Don't even try anything with me. You saw how your other friend ended up." Cam threatened. Spyder didn't try to escape, he was too scared of what she had done to Mark when he tried to try and do that.
"Seth stop this!" Ryan pleaded. He couldn't stand seeing his friends in danger.
"Question one," Seth started, ignoring Ryan's pleads, "where do you keep Mech-X4?"
Ryan looked at the ground. He knew he couldn't answer that. What came next hurt his soul. The black rod was plunged into Spyder's chest and the electricity was surging through him. He let out a pure blood curdling scream that made everyone, except Seth who laughed, wince.
The scientist removed the device from Spyder's chest and stepped back. Spyder was panting heavily, leaning forward. He spit out some blood.
"Question one," he started again, "Where. Do. You. Keep. The. Robot." He was yelling more aggressively now.
Ryan looked over at Spyder.
"Don't...do...it...Ry..." managed through breaths.
Ryan nodded.
"Alright then, you know what to do." Seth said to the scientist.

The same events were repeated four times, before Spyder had tears streaming down his cheeks and he couldn't speak anymore because everything just hurt so bad.
Every time Seth asked Ryan the question, however, he made some sort of signal to make him aware that he cannot expose their hidden base. Ryan hated it, but had no choice, as he knew their base was the only place capable of hiding Mech-X4, and if he revealed it to Seth, it would spell doom for the world.
By the end of the fourth round, Seth had had enough.
"That's all for now." He said as the scientist removed the needle from Spyder'a chest one final time.
Cam walked in, as she had done before with Mark, and released the poor jokester and chained him back up to the wall.
"We will return soon." Was all Seth said before he left the cell, shutting the bars securely before walking away laughing.

For a better picture of what the cell looked like, it was a fairly large room about the size of a small master bedroom. There were four white walls. The longest one, which was beside the cell bars, was where the boys were chained. In order of closest to the cell door, it was Mark, then Ryan, then Spyder and finally Harris. The large metal table was in the centre of the room, taking up most of the space.
Some of you may be wondering why Mark couldn't take as much as Spyder could from the black needle rod thing, and I will explain that here:

Mark was still laying in a slouched position. He had gotten beaten very badly when he fought against Cam, and that only weakened him for when he had to try and fight the pain of the electric needle rod. His body was not prepared for such an immense amount of pain, so his body shut itself down as quickly as it could. Spyder however, was bracing for each shock of electricity, which cause him to be able to handle more because his body was ready for it. Well as ready as you can be for an unimaginable amount of pain searing through your whole body four times.

Ryan looked over at his brother, who was resting and healing slowly. He would be okay.
He then looked over at Spyder to see that Harris was starting at him as well.
"Spyder. Can you hear me buddy?" Harris asked, in a calm tone.
Spyder squeaked out a pained answer, "y-ea".
"What hurts Spyder?" Harris continued as he examined his injuries.
"Ev-rey-th...thing..."Spyder said, trying to chuckle a little, before wincing in more pain.
"How does your chest feel?" Harris asked. He wasn't able to check his burns, so he had to just ask how they felt for now.
"H-ho-t" Spyder said. He groaned in pain.
Ryan and Harris shared a worried glance with one another. He could still be burning.
"Ready for round two?" A voice came from the doorway. It was Seth. He walked inside the cell with Camellia following behind, and shut the door behind them.
"You didn't think I forgot about you did I?" He asked the little genius. Harris rolled his eyes, and with as much confidence as possible said, "what are you gonna go? Zap me a couple times?"
"Haha no I'm bored of that. I was thinking, since I owe little Camellia hear a reward, we could do something a little more violent." He grimaced evilly. Harris' eyes widened in fear.
Camellia walked out from behind Seth, holding a metal bar in her left hand.

She walked over to the wall on the opposite side of the doorway, and attached a chain with an ankle lock onto it. She brought the longer chain over, attached it to Harris' ankle so he had no chance of escape. She then removed his wrist cuffs so the only thing holding him back was the ankle chain. She liked a moving target.

"All right! Let's get this started!" Seth cheered.
"Don't do this Harper." Came a raspy voice from the corner. It was Mark.
"Ah! The older brother finally speaks again! Don't worry it will be your turn again soon!" Seth smiled a fake cheesy grin. Mark remained silent but glared at the evil man.
"So Ryan? Any change in the answer you gave me, which was well nothing." Seth asked.
Ryan looked over at Harris who shook his head. "Don't do it Ry."
Cam hit him in the knee, hard, with the metal pole. It was a solid lead pole. That hurt.
"Argh!" Harris yelped.
"NO TALKING!" She yelled.
"Well then, I guess I'll leave Cam here to do her thing. Cam, 30 minutes. I'll be back then to see your work." Seth walked out of the cell whistling.
Harris slowly crept backwards, away from the crazy girl, until he felt his back press against the wall.
"There's no where to go kid." Cam smiled swinging the pole around in circles.
Harris took a quick look over at his friends before a hard punch to the jaw sent him to the ground. He rolled onto his side and groaned. Cam laughed and swung the pole down, hitting him in his side over and over again.
With every hit came a hiss of pain from Harris' lips.
"Leave him alone!" Ryan yelled. He began pulling on his cuffs again, tearing at the already irritated skin.
Cam looked over at him and frowned.
"I SAID NO TALKING!" She swung the pole over head, ready to bring it down onto Ryan, when a voice boomed through the room.
"CAMELLIA! I gave you orders to harm only one of the boys! Do not make me regret my decision of giving you the lead in physical torture!" Seth's voice boomed from a speaker.
"Yes sir. Sorry sir." Cam said before turning back to the crying genius.

Every time Cam tortured, she imagined the person she was beating being the piece of trash who slaughtered her parents. She hit the boy over and over again, obviously breaking some of his ribs, her mind wandered elsewhere, but she was still hitting the poor boy over and over again.

His eyes were starting to roll back and Ryan was pulling on his chains as hard as he could, tying to break free and help his friend. The door opened a few seconds after, and Seth walked inside.
"Time."
Cam stopped immediately and walked over to Seth wiping the blood in her hands off onto a towel he had brought for her.
"The boy is almost dead sir." She reported.
"Very good! You've gotten better at not killing them Camellia" Seth cheered joyfully.
Camellia nodded before walking out of the room to clean up.
"Well wasn't that fun!" Seth asked. He looked over at Harris, then to Spyder, then to Mark.
"Wow you guys look bad. Maybe it's time I give you a turn Ryan." He snickered.
"Seth! Their going to die if you don't let me help them!" Ryan shouted out. Harris was on the floor, bleeding endlessly. Spyder's burns were causing him to sweat and pant. Mark was so weak from the blood loss of his fight, he could barely stay awake.
"Fine. I don't want them all dead yet anyways."Seth said as he threw a small red first-aid kit onto the ground and pressed a button that released Ryan's chains, once he was outside the cell. Couldn't take any chances of escape.

When Seth left, Ryan stumbled over to the first aid kit, and tended to the most injured. Harris.
Ryan had learned enough first aid to know that Harris must have had, a few broken ribs, a concussion, and other possible internal injuries. On the outside, it was even worse. He had bruises and deep cuts from some sharp edges that must have been on the pole. He took a deep breath to calm himself. It was only before starting to bandage up his friend, that he felt pain in his wrists.
"Oh shiitake mushrooms." He said aloud to himself. His wrists were bleeding, probably from when he was pulling on his chains so roughly, and it was very deep. Ryan knew he had to bandage himself up before he bled out, otherwise he wouldn't be able to help his friends.

After he wrapped a few layers of gauze around his wrists, he started to patch up Harris. It took awhile but he finally finished. Harris looked awful. He was all banged up and Ryan couldn't help but feel a pang of guilt at the sign of his best friend this way.

He then turned to Spyder. He pulled down his shirt to reveal four horrible burns to the jokesters chest. Ryan gasped. Luckily for him, the three other boys were unconscious so he didn't have to worry about them freaking out too. But these burns were awful.
The skin was bubbly and peeling off completely, blood was stained all over his shirt and his chest. The bruising was intense and his whole entire torso was different shades of red blue and purple.
Ryan looked in the first aid kit, and saw a small tube of burn ointment. 'Thank gosh' he thought to himself. He applied the ointment to the burns on Spyder's chest, causing the boy to stir a little. Ryan exhaled a sigh of relief at this sign of life. He wrapped gauze around the wounds to keep them clean, and moved on to the final person. His brother.

Ryan knew Mark wasn't in as bad of shape as the other two, but it wasn't good, that's for sure. He had a nasty burn with dried blood surrounding it. Ryan was scared if he rubbed it, it could cause the wound to reopen. He thought the best thing he could do was just to wrap it in gauze and hope for the best. He wasn't a doctor!

Ryan stood up shakily, pleased with his medical skills. His victory was short lived, as Seth was standing at the cell entrance.
"I see you're done now." He stated.
"Yea." Ryan replied. He was too tired to come up with a snappy comeback.
"Oh Ryan. Your friends would never have been put in this state of pain if you had just told me where your base is." Seth sighed. Ryan heated up.
"You're right! They wouldn't be trapped in this cell, because they'd already be dead!" He yelled. Ryan didn't realize, but his friends had woken up and were silently staring at him while he yelled at Seth. Seth noticed this and decided to try and stir the pot.
"It's fairly selfish of you though. To let your friends get hurt because you want to keep your little robot hideout a secret." He shook his head.
"I don't have a choice! If I tell you where the base is, you'd end the world!" He yelled throwing his hands into the air.
"True, but it is really worth it at the expense of your friends pain?"! He questioned.
Ryan was silent at that. Another voice answered for him.
"Anything is worth it to stop you." Mark said
"Yea." Spyder agreed
"yea..." Harris agreed a tad more timidly.
Ryan turned around and smiled at his friends. Seth was infuriated at their joy? Whatever it is that they were feeling, it wasn't pain, fright or sadness so Seth didn't like it.
Then he thought of a plan that would hurt them all.
"Ryan, return to your chains." He ordered. Ryan turned back around to look at him
"Why should I?" He sassed.
"Because if you don't, I'll kill him." Seth said as he pulled out a gun and pointed it at Mark.
"Woah! Hey! Don't shoot! I'm going!" Ryan said putting his hands up. A shock of electricity was one thing, but a bullet, now that was something you don't mess with.
Ryan followed orders and placed his wrists back in the slots of the chains, and when Seth pressed a button he was trapped once again.
"I have a fun plan for you next Walker!" Seth laughed as he left the room.

If Ryan wouldn't talk, he figured he could get his teammates to talk. After all, he wasn't stupid, they knew the bases location as well. He just would have felt better breaking Ryan, but at this point he wanted information. And he would do anything to get it...

I'm sorry! I didn't want to end it! But it's close to 5000 words and I figured I might as well close it off with a part three because there is so much story left to tell! Let me know any suggestions in the comments and you'd better brace yourselves for the next chapter. It's a dousey. See ya next one and thx! Byeee
