4:44 pm.

the time showed on your phone as you tossed the phone near you, making sure it didn't fall off the bed as you pondered about the situations you had faced today.

perhaps you were wrong in thinking that going out with a guy would avoid you from thinking of him. it sure didn't work as the guy you went out with hadn't even gotten over his exes. who knows how many?

as you rolled over your bed and reached it's edge, you hang your head down whilst your body still laid on the bed.

a click of the doorknob made you turn your head towards it, curious who the person might be.

and the door opened, revealing your sweet hell of a brother.

he held a carton of drinks in his hands and entered the room and kept the carton in a corner of the room.

"what are these for?" you asked.

"we're having some guests over at five." he brushed his palms against each other in a clapping manner after he was done placing the carton.

"uninvited guests?" you scoffed.

"nope, invited ones. grandma invited them to have dinner over here." he simply said before making his way towards you with open arms.

"no, no, no, no!" you chanted with your hands shielding you as you knew what he was trying to do.

he jumped on you, his weight making you fall on the bed and he engulfed you into a big hug.

"get off me!" you said, disgusted, while trying to push him off you.

"i haven't seen you since this morning! you know how much i missed you?" he mumbled while rubbing his cheeks against yours.

"but i didn't." you deadpanned.

his phone ringing in his pocket interrupted his grump as he took it out, seeing the caller id and mumbling an 'unknown number..?' before getting up and walking towards the door.

"you won't be spared next time." he shot his mini glare at you before answering the call and walking out of your room.

"how come he is older than me?" you asked yourself with a huff.

time flew by, it was now five in the evening, the time the unknown guests would arrive.

"who are they, grandma?" you asked as you sat on the couch.

"you'll find out in no time." she smiled who was sitting across from you.

"what if they are-"

"ah-ah. let this be a surprise for her." your mom interrupted taehyung.

you were all seated on the couch, in the living room while waiting for those unknown guests.

the doorbell made all of you stand out of your seats, your grandma taking the lead to open the door while you three stood there, two of them excited while you looked like a puzzled kid.

"how are you, my kids?!" you heard grandma's voice from the doorstep as if she was talking to a bunch of youngsters.

after a lot of shuffles and muffled noises, you saw the guests coming in your view, your jaw falling off as you saw a bunch of handsome men standing before you.

"y/n, taehyung, you remember the boys? you were friends with them in your childhood!" she told you as you looked at them, your eyes scanning them as they stood before you.

there were seven boys around your age, young and handsome. as your eyes fell on the second last person, you recognised him to be the jungkook your grandma was talking about. but your eyes widened when your gaze shifted to the boy beside him.

all of the boys' eyes were now focused on the blonde boy after looking at you. as for the blonde boy, he looked lifeless. his face appearing paler than before, his eyes stared at you without blinking even once. he looked as if he had seen a ghost.

• • •

you shot daggers at him as if doing it would make him vanish from your eyes. meanwhile, the poor boy sat next to you with his teeth clenched and a tight smile plastered on his face as his hands trembled when he took the mug of coffee offered by your grandma.

"jimin, have you gotten a cold?" grandma asked after observing his behaviour.

"yes grandma! he visited the seashore today after his shift and somehow got dumped by the wave." jungkook answered, referring to you as the wave with a muffled laugh as jimin elbowed him to shut his mouth.

grandma gasped as she took a seat across from us. "be careful next time, jimin, okay?" she laughed. "talking about beaches, why don't you visit gwangalli beach while we prepare for dinner? you eight always used to visit there when you were kids." grandma told you.

you looked at each other in confusion.

a/n:- exams are finally done. at last i can rest in peace.
