"y/n, we're here." you heard someone say as they gave a light shake to your arm.

fluttering your eyes open, you adjusted to the bright light of your surroundings. on moving your head to the side, you found yourself laying on jungkook's shoulder and realised where you had fallen asleep on. in haste, you sat in an upright posture only to encounter a pissed jimin standing before you, his eyes moving from you to jungkook and vice versa.

"we're late, better come fast." he stated.

you stood up, taking jungkook's hand in yours as you stood eye to eye with him.

"look who's saying. tardy boy."

"come fast." you said as you passed by him, both of your shoulders brushing against each other.

coming out of the bus, you joined the rest of the boys who were planning where to go first.

"i made jimin hyung jealous!" jungkook squealed under his breath as you looked at him, bewildered.

"what's the issue here?"

"its cool to make him pissed! look at him," he said, pointing jimin who stepped out of the bus while sulking. "he's annoyed that i took his date!" he jumped like an excited bunny.

"can you not call me that? i'm not his date." you squinted your eyes, not liking the way he keeps on calling you.

"did you dump him?" he looked at you with his doe eyes.

"i told you before. did you forget that?" you said while rolling your eyes.

"i think i did." he covered his mouth in disbelief before focusing on the discussion going on in the group of circle.

"we could have rode in the train. why are we walking?" you asked jungkook while you clicked pictures of the cliffs with your beloved polaroid camera.

after reaching taejongdae, a cliffed coast located on the southernmost tip of the yeongdo district, you decided to go to the observation desk by foot instead of wasting money on the train.

you were tired by the two hours of bus ride yet you had to walk on foot to reach the observation desk. so here were the eight of you, each of you paired in two. namjoon with seokjin, hoseok with yoongi, taehyung with that not so cute barista and you with jungkook, leading the way.

"because it takes money to ride on the train." he deadpanned.

"but we aren't broke." you reasoned.

"we are saving money for the food. you want to eat good food, right?" he asked you.

your cheeks flushed as you nodded in enthusiasm.

until now, you had only talked to jimin and jungkook and liked jungkook so far. you were getting curious on the thought of knowing them all and being comfortable enough to crack jokes around them without hesitation.

"why did you behave as if dumping jimin was something impossible?" you brought out the conversation which was left unfinished earlier.

"cause... that was a little unexpected. as you can see, he is handsome, cute, kind and the girls in the university can't help but fall head over heels for him. so there hadn't been any girl who dumped him in their first date... until you entered."

"cause i'm different." you sassed as you flipped your hair and went back to capturing the view before you with your camera.

jungkook laughed as you both walked your way to the observation desk.

after you all reached the observation desk, you didn't hesitate to take all the delicious food present in front of you and devouring them in all at once. but you remained unsatified even after having the warmest and most delicious food in this cold weather. you were still for craving for something.

you walked to jungkook, who was watching the seaside view with the others.

"i want ice cream." you whined to him but with your voice lowered, making sure no one who was present around you heard you.

he turned to you, his amuzed gaze that was once there while admiring the view now nowhere to be found as he stared at you in disbelief.

"peculiar humans," he pinched his nose. "there's actually a counter over there which is serving ice cream. but beware of jimin." he spoke before moving his gaze back to the seaside view.

your heart thumped rapidly on hearing his name. he was the last thing you wanted to see. you wanted to avoid him as much as you could but you wouldn't feel good if you missed your icecream which was right before you.

so you walked towards it, each step taking you closer to your ice cream and also to the one you were not so fond of.

you took two scoops of your mint chocolate chip icecream as you licked it, enjoying the taste of mint choco on your tongue as you made your way back to others.

"y/n!" a silky voice called your name from beside you, making you freeze on your steps just as how he did to you yesternight.

turning your head towards the voice, you found jimin licking on his chocolate icecream, as he pointed to the chair in front of him, inviting you to sit with him.

puckering your lips, you made your way towards him and took a seat, now being face to face with him with only a table helping you to keep the distance.

"why did you sit?"

his question made your eyebrows knit together in perplexion.

"because you told me to, dummy." you avoided his eyes when answering to his question.

"you know, there's nothing wrong in admitting you're embarrassed on eating icecream in such a season." he voiced out the truth while still trying to meet your eyes.

"aren't you embarrassed, then?" you asked him as you pointed at the chocolate cup icecream in his hands.

"i'm used to getting embarrassed." he shrugged.

you chuckled as you continued with your icecream without saying anything.

"wow, it feels like i'm on a date with you." he wondered aloud after a while as he licked his icecream.

your eyes widened as you stood up from your seat, annoyance visible on your face as you said, "i'll be with the others then-"

before you could say any further, jimin held your wrists, stopping you as he looked at you fondly.

"please stay. i'd like some company."

rolling your eyes, you sat back and took out your camera, setting the two icecream bowls on the table as you captured the ice creams served on the table.

"why did you capture this?" he asked you, tilting his head in confusion.

"to remember that a jerk once forced me to have an icecream date with him." you smiled, sarcasm filled in your smile.
