JUNGKOOK'S POV

"Gather everyone for an emergency meeting. It's about Choi Pack" i said while looking around the pack house. There were just few people around here as half of them were checking stuffs.

"Sungwoon inform Namjoon hyung about the meeting. I'll meet you in the office at 12 sharp" i gave the task to sungwoon and went outside to check for the training session that's been happening in the pack training ground.

Pups were running around playing and there was a pleasant positive surrounding. Everything was nice and people were busily engaged in things and their daily routine.

My pack is big so I need help of many people to complete the work. That's why task has been assigned to everyone to ensure that every aspect has been taken care of and there is no danger lurking around. Patrolling is the most important one.

I did the pending work of checking the training session and left after analysing their moves and also instructing the training incharge to not push them too much. It's not good for them.

I went straight to the office as it was almost time for the meeting. My office is just a few minutes away from pack house. I don't leave in pack house mostly because pack house is where wolves of our pack spend their free time and where the pack food is served. It is mostly reserved for the occasion or some gathering which involves whole pack. I refused to stay there as my presence can make things awkward sometimes.

As we all gathered together including Namjoon hyung who look a bit upset for some reason. It seemed that something had happened, otherwise Namjoon hyung would never have been so upset, especially when it was about the pack. He tends to keep his personal life problems out of official meetings and is always calm and composed when he is with us. Something is bothering him again.

I made a mental note to ask him about it after the meeting. As soon as everyone were settled in their places i was quick to raise the issue.

"Choi Pack along with Dark Shine Pack are planning a council meeting again for the South part but there is something they want to discuss with us and as we are on the top of Pack's hierarchy we are to have a decent meeting and i mean it decent" i said with my stern voice.

What i mean by decent is, last time we had a meeting like that it resulted in a fistfight and the problem was unresolved which further became a mess to sort out. Even though it was started by them we would have handled it like mature wolves but instead we chose to involve violence. It was my fault partially, i should have stopped it before it went out of my hands to control the situation.

I have no personal grudges against Choi Pack but they are hell bent on creating a new rivalry among us. You see Choi Pack is closer to Dark Shine Pack. Choi Pack is in the line to get to the top of Pack's hierarchy. They desperately want to be at top and rule others, which i won't ever let happen.

My Pack's wellbeing is my top most priority and letting someone like Choi or Dark Shine Pack to have control over things, it will destroy everyone. They are not only greedy for power but also ready to make other wolves their personal slave, which disgusts me to no end.

"I suggest we send them a formal letter and invite them for dinner with whole pack but it'll take more than a day of meeting to settle this issue as we all know both Packs are hard to convince and we all know it won't go as well as we want it to be, there might be complications" Namjoon hyung replied with his authority filled voice. He is the smartest of us all combined and i really respect him and Jin hyung so much.

"Taehyung you'll go to Dark Shine Pack with the invitation and Jaemin will go to Choi Pack also inform them that it'll take two to three days to resolve everything so extend the invitation for two, three days stay, also they can bring few Pack members with themselves" i informed them my final decision and they all replied with " Yes Alpha"

"Now as everything is discussed, you all are dismissed except Namjoon hyung" i said and everyone left with a bow towards me to show their respect.

"Yes Jungkook, what do you wanna say?" Namjoon hyung asked as he turned towards me waiting for me to ask him some Pack related questions that I'm looking answers for, it's usually like that but today I wanna ask something else.

"Joonie hyung, what's the matter you look a bit restless today, is everything okay?" I asked him, addressing him informally only when we are in privacy of these four walls and no extra ears to hear this conversation.

I mostly try to avoid addressing someone informally infront of everyone because it gives them the thought of their Alpha being more close to the spoken one and them being nothing. I don't wanna make them feel like they aren't close to me because for me they all are mine to protect. My packmates.

"I don't know, it's just something i don't wanna talk about" he sighed and i can tell whatever this is it's taking a toll on him very excruciatingly. I can see the dark eyebags.

"Its okay hyung, you can talk to me it'll atleast make you feel better" i said coaxing him a little.

"It's about the incident" the words that left his mouth made me to remember the moments i miss severely. The pain i feel and the rage that consumes me are unbearable. I just want to vent my anger on something or rather someone. I could feel his pain but not as much as he could because I'll never know how it feels like to be in his situation, maybe in future but i pray that moon goddess will never put me in situation like them.

"I can't bring myself to let go, i just want everything to be same as it was before the incident. I just miss those moments, i want it all back Jungkook. How can someone do this to us? What did i ever do to them?" Now he was crying, his tears weren't stopping and i knew he was in unbearable pain.

I pulled him to myself and hugged him tight and i could feel his sob getting more louder. I was holding myself back to not let the desperate tears run down my face. I just want him to feel it's okay to let it all out.

"You'll have to be strong hyung. Jin hyung and tae needs you. They are more emotional about all this. You know Jin hyung will stop eating again if he'll think about it again, right?" He just nodded his head which was in the crook of my neck.

After his sobbing had died down into small hiccups and he pulled himself together for the sake of his family, he stood straight and nodded his head in acknowledgement towards me and i knew he was thanking me for my advances and letting him cry his heart out.

He went straight to washroom in my office and i went outside to complete the pending work. Also, i need to start preparations for the meeting and their stay.

I just really hope things won't turn out how it did before, we'll have to solve this issue no matter what and convincing them is going to be too much of a work. They are desperately behind the south territory and witches will rip our heart out without even blinking if we'll step our foot in their territory.

We'll have to compensate and give them another peace of land if they won't agree. I already have talked about this with our Pack and have selected a place which we can give them but the chances of them taking that place without an argument is very little. They tend to create unnecessary issues.

With a deep sigh I left to settle everything and assign them task that are needed to be taken care before the other packs will come. If it was upto me I would have given them a horse stable to stay where it would smell like poops and shit, but I'm a Pack leader and i have responsibilities. I can't behave like an immature teenager... But it'll be so fun to see their faces scrunched up in disgust and displeasure... Oh how i wish to witness that beautiful, breathtaking sight and feel blessed..!!

Anyways, I'll fulfill my beautiful dream in some of our other rendezvous. It's time to get some actually work done and welcome them with sour, no i mean pure heart..!! Pardon me.. it's just a little tongue slip..

With that thought i went to actually get this done.

I really wanted to update this after my other book but i thought maybe i could update one or two chapters till then so you'll look out for more...!!
