"I have a secret that I have been keeping."

Selena Gomez was unsure of what to expect from her fiancé Eugenia. She ran her fingers through her hair, feeling a bit nervous. She looked at Eugenia. She couldn't help but wonder.

"What's the secret?" She asked.

"I've been cheating." Eugenia's responded.

Her response left Selena in disbelief and shock. Her heart shattered into a million tiny pieces as she took a step back. She stared at her. She didn't want to believe it.

"Why? Did I do something to cause this?" Selena asked, trying to make sense of the situation.

"It wasn't because of you," Eugenia replied, attempting to grab Selena's arm.

"Don't touch me. Why would you hurt me like this?" She asked pulling her arm back.

"It didn't mean anything to me. I love you!" Eugenia yelled, trying to explain herself.

"What the hell is wrong with you, Eugenia?!" Selena pointed at her, feeling angry and betrayed.

"It was a mistake!" Eugenia shouted, trying to justify her actions.

"A one-time thing is a mistake, but a relationship?!" Selena said, feeling hurt and confused.

"I needed to tell you," Eugenia said, hoping Selena would understand.

"Yeah, right," Selena said, chuckling bitterly.

"We should probably talk," Eugenia suggested.

"No, I'm good," Selena said, not wanting to hear any more excuses.

"Please," Eugenia said taking a step towards Selena.

"Don't you dare come any closer!" Selena yelled, feeling angry and hurt.

"God, calm down!" Eugenia shouted, feeling frustrated.

"I can't believe you would do this to me again," Selena said, feeling hurt and betrayed.

"You did it to me first, remember?" Eugenia countered.

"We weren't together when I was with her!" Selena yelled, feeling angry and hurt.

"So, it still hurts to remember you with her after our breakup," Eugenia said, feeling guilty.

"Well, now I know how you felt when I was cheating," Selena said bitterly, not caring if she hurt Eugenia with her words.

"Wow, I can't believe you just said that," Eugenia said, shaking her head.

"Enough! Get out of here, Eugenia!" Selena exclaimed, gesturing towards the door.

"What?!" Eugenia shouted in disbelief.

"I don't want to see you," Selena stated firmly.

"I'm not going anywhere," Eugenia defiantly declared.

"Leave right now. Don't make me call the cops," Selena warned.

"I won't go down without a fight," Eugenia replied defiantly.

"Please, just go," Selena pleaded.

"Don't do this," She whispered softly.

"Just leave. Let's not make this any harder than it has to be," Selena said quietly.

"I'm not leaving until you let me explain, alright?" Eugenia insisted.

"Fine, then I'll leave," She said, making her way towards the door of her own house.

Eugenia followed Selena, spinning her around by her arm. Selena managed to break free from her grasp. She placed her arm by her side. She turned to face Eugenia, her eyes filled with a mix of emotions.

"I can't bear to lose you again," Eugenia said, her hands cupping Selena's face.

Eugenia searched Selena's eyes, desperately hoping to find a glimmer of hope for their relationship. However, Selena moved away, biting her lip in frustration. She sighed. She looked at Eugenia, a hint of disappointment in her gaze.

"You've messed things up once more. Do you not remember when you walked out on me after Justin's proposal?" Selena asked, her anger evident in her voice.

"That's a low blow," Eugenia replied, her tone filled with hurt.

"I can't believe I ever thought I wanted you. Clearly, it was a mistake on my part," Selena taunted.

"Don't push me," Eugenia warned, her frustration growing as she clenched her fists.

"What are you going to do about it? Are you going to hit me?" Selena taunted further.

"I said enough!" Eugenia exclaimed, her anger boiling over as she forcefully struck the wall beside Selena's head with her fist.

Selena stared at Eugenia, shock evident on her face. She couldn't believe what had just transpired. As she looked into Eugenia's eyes, sensed something else, but couldn't quite pinpoint it. She felt angry.

In a sudden turn of events, Eugenia pulled Selena into a rough, passionate kiss. She moaned, deepening the kiss as they moved towards the couch. They made love, their bodies entwined beneath a comforting blanket.

As the intensity subsided, Eugenia lifted her chin and kissed her tenderly. She smiled against Selena's lips, getting out of bed and getting dressed. Selena bit her lip, watching Eugenia intently. She is unsure of what the future held for them.

"This was a mistake," She said.

"Oh, okay," She said quietly, playing with her engagement ring.

Selena fidgeted with her fingers, feeling the weight of the ring on her finger. She glanced over at Eugenia and removed the ring and necklace from her hand. Selena's heart raced as she waited for her reaction. She looked at her.

"Take these before you go," Selena said, holding out the jewelry.

"But I gave these to you before I proposed. You should keep them," Eugenia said.

"I don't need them anymore," Selena replied.

Eugenia's heart skipped a beat at the thought of their engagement being called off. She knew it was the right decision, but it still hurt. She bit her lip. She looked at her.

"What?" Eugenia asked.

"There will be no wedding at this moment," Selena responded.

"I can't believe this is happening," Eugenia said, taking the ring and necklace and shoving them into her pocket.

"I hate saying goodbye." She whispered.

"We could work through this,"  She added.

She wrapped her arms around her waist. Eugenia returned the hug, burying her head in Selena's neck. She pulled her close. She smiled softly.

She pulled away, gazing deeply into her eyes. A heavy sigh escaped her lips as she shook her head in disbelief. It seemed like their relationship was constantly spiraling downwards. Eugenia couldn't understand why.

"You hurt me again," Selena said, her voice filled with pain.

"I'm so sorry, Sel. You have to believe me when I say that I regret cheating and keeping it from you," She pleaded.

"Were you with her when you proposed?" She asked, her voice trembling.

"I'm so sorry," Eugenia apologized quietly, her remorse evident.

"I don't know if I can forgive you right now," She said, her voice filled with uncertainty.

"I understand," She replied, her voice filled with understanding and empathy.

"I need some time to think about things," Selena said, her voice wavering.

"I will be ready to talk whenever you are," She mumbled, her voice barely audible.

"I-I love you," Selena confessed, her voice filled with a mix of love and pain.

"I love you too, so much," She whispered, her voice filled with sincerity.

"I know you do," Selena said, her voice filled with reassurance.

"I forgave you for having an affair in our marriage. Just try to remember that," Eugenia reminded, her voice filled with a hint of sadness.

With tears streaming down her face, Selena turned away and stared at the wall behind her. Eugenia made her way to the door, opening and closing it behind her. As she exhaled, closed the door and drove away. She left behind a heavy silence.

Selena sat on the bed, her heart aching as she heard the door close. She buried her face in her hands, taking deep breaths to calm herself. In the depths of her mind, knew that she wasn't entirely sure about what the future held for them. She knew she wasn't sure anymore.

As she reflected on their tumultuous journey, she couldn't help but feel certain that rekindling their relationship before officially ending her previous one was a grave mistake. In her mind, had convinced herself that everything would work out just fine. She had been genuinely happy before she messed it all up. It seemed like she was the one constantly sabotaging their relationship.

Doubts plagued her mind as she pondered whether they were truly meant to be together. She regretted going out with Justin recently, realizing that she should have been with her instead. And now, they were on the verge of getting married for the second time. The realization washed over her, freeing her from the shackles of fear.

Unlike when they were married, no longer felt the need to flaunt their love to the world. Back then, had been blissfully happy, deeply in love with her before succumbing to the temptation of an affair. She had reached a point where she no longer cared about other people's opinions. She knew the truth, and that truth was her unwavering love for her soon-to-be wife and desired was a lifetime of happiness with her.

Their relationship remained hidden from the prying eyes of the public. She wanted to shield their love from potential harm. She had falsely claimed to be in love with Abel for nearly a year, when in reality, it was Eugenia who made her heart soar whenever they spent time together. Her mind drifted back to their heated argument about going public with their engagement.

She longed to make amends and confess everything to the world, but she knew it was an impossibility. This realization drove Eugenia into the arms of someone else, causing immense pain to the love of her life. Betrayal struck her once again as she remembered the hurtful words exchanged during their fight, especially after confiding in Priscilla about their engagement. Deep down, shouldn't have been surprised by this outcome.

She had believed she had transformed into an amazing and loving person, only to be proven wrong. Running her hand through her hair, rose from the bed, the creaking of her shoes against the floor echoing in the silence. With a heavy heart, made her way to the living room. She walked into the living room.

Her lips formed a tight line on her face, a clear sign of her distress. As she glanced at her friends, their concerned expressions mirrored her own worries. Anxiously, began to chew on her lip, a nervous habit she couldn't seem to shake. With a heavy exhale, tried to release some of the tension that had built up inside her.

"I know who she cheated with," Theresa finally spoke up, breaking the silence.

"Who is it?" She asked.

Theresa remained silent, causing Selena to roll her eyes in annoyance. Leaning in closer, Theresa whispered into her ear, prompting a quiet sigh to escape her lips. She looked at her. She played with her hands.

"I can't believe she was with someone all this time," Selena confessed, her voice filled with disbelief.

"Yeah," Theresa simply replied, understanding the weight of the situation.

"I think I've ended things with her," She mumbled, her words barely audible.

"Really?" Courtney questioned, surprised by the revelation.

"Despite everything, I still love her," Selena admitted, her voice tinged with a mix of emotions.

"Why?" She asked, genuinely curious about her friend's conflicting feelings.

"She forgave me for cheating on her," She reminded, her voice filled with a hint of guilt.

"We know," Theresa interjected, acknowledging the complexity of their relationship.

"Do you think you've truly ended it?" Raquelle inquired, her concern evident.

"I... I don't know," Selena confessed, her uncertainty palpable.

"I hope you're able to figure things out," Courtney chimed in, offering her support.

"Me too," Selena replied, appreciating the well-wishes.

"I'll talk to you later," Courtney said, making her way towards her bedroom, needing some time alone.

Selena ran her hand through her hair, a nervous gesture that had become second nature. Fidgeting with her fingers, couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. With a determined stride, turned on her heels. She made her way towards the sanctuary of her bedroom.

As she entered the bedroom, closed the door behind her and slid down against it. She was at a loss for what to do. It seemed like she was always messing things up. She couldn't help but feel like this was her karma for cheating on David with Eugenia.

She never felt any regret for hurting them in the process. She knew what she did was wrong, but she didn't end things with David like she should have. Now, they were on good terms, but still felt like she had messed things up like usual. She chewed her lip, laid down on the bed and shut her eyes closed and fell asleep.

Eugenia sat comfortably on her couch at home, enjoying the company of her girlfriend. She glanced at her, a warm smile spread across her face, and couldn't resist kissing her cheek. Blushing slightly, chuckled and shook her head. Suddenly, her girlfriend opened her mouth and asked a question that lingered in the air.

"Why haven't you left her?" She inquired.

"It's just not the right time, babe," She grumbled.

"You always say that." She reminded her.

"I promise, I'll leave her very soon." Eugenia replied.

"Okay, sure," She responded skeptically.

"Yup..."  She repeated.

"I should go now." She said.

"I'll see you later." She said.

Leaning in, Eugenia tenderly pecked her girlfriend's lips, and they shared a brief moment before pulling away. Smiling, stood up from the couch. She walked out of the house, heading back to her own home. Eugenia couldn't help but smile as she stood up from the couch, feeling content.

Making her way to the bedroom, entered and closed the door behind her. Overwhelmed with emotions, climbed into bed. She eventually drifted off to sleep, tears staining her cheeks. She closed her eyes.
