Selena was stunned when she saw the man who had ruined her relationship with Eugenia. It brought back painful memories of when they were just getting to know each other.

Their bond was just growing. The breakup had left a lasting impact on both of them.

"What are you doing here?" Selena asked, her voice filled with anger and confusion.

"I heard you were out of the hospital," He replied casually.

"Yes, I am," Selena responded bitterly.

"I always knew you couldn't control yourself," He sneered, causing her to roll her eyes in annoyance.

"You should leave now," Eugenia warned firmly.

"Why don't you make me leave?" He challenged, his arrogance evident.

Selena stood face to face with him, her presence strong and commanding. As he tensed up, his smirk faded, realizing the seriousness of the situation.

"That's what I thought," She said, a victorious smirk on her lips.

In that moment, Eugenia embraced Selena from behind, a loving smile on her face. They shared a tender moment of connection.

As he walked out of the apartment, Selena glanced over her shoulder, watching him leave. Eugenia leaned into her embrace, finding comfort in their love and strength.

Selena playfully spun Eugenia around, lifting her up and wrapping her legs around her waist. They shared a joyful moment, their smiles reflecting the happiness they found in each other's arms.

Eventually, Selena gently placed Eugenia back down on the bed and closed the door. Eugenia sat up, looking at Selena with concern and love.

"I have to go perform in New York," Selena said, taking a seat on the bed.

"When?" Eugenia asked, her worry evident.

"In two days, for Saturday Night Live," Selena replied.

"Selena, you need to rest," Eugenia said, concern etched on her face.

"I can't bail on the performance last minute," Selena countered.

"Please think about it," Eugenia pleaded.

"I will," Selena promised.

"I'm so glad you're feeling better," Eugenia said, smiling softly.

"I'm happiest when I'm with you, my beautiful wife," Selena said, gazing into Eugenia's brown eyes.

"You always know how to make me feel special." She said.

"That's why I married you, babe," Eugenia said, leaning in for a kiss.

"I'm sorry for wanting a divorce," Selena whispered.

"You had every right to feel that way," Eugenia reassured her.

"I felt terrible for even considering it," Selena admitted.

"It's all good." Eugenia said.

"I caused trouble this time, not you." Selena said.

"Can I ask you something?" Eugenia said, her voice trembling.

"Of course," Selena replied, taking her hand.

"Why did you cheat on me?" Eugenia asked, tears welling up in her eyes.

"Let's go out tonight," Selena said, trying to change the subject.

"No, I need to know," Eugenia insisted.

"I promise I'll tell you later," Selena said, placing a hand on her cheek.

"You better, or I'll be cutting off sex for some time," Eugenia warned, trying to lighten the mood.

"You're bluffing." Selena said and chuckled.

"Do I look like I'm bluffing?" She inquired, her expression serious enough to widen Selena's eyes.

"No, it's just..." Selena trailed off, reluctant to admit that her wife looked incredibly attractive when she was upset.

"Well, that settles it. You're not doing the show," She declared.

"Ugh, fine," She whined.

"I don't want anything else to happen to you. It's for your own good," Eugenia said, gently pecking her lips.

"Why don't you just come with me to the show and be by my side?" Selena suggested.

"I agree with that," Mandy chimed in, causing both of them to turn and look at her.

"I'll think about it," She replied.

"I think you should go. She needs someone she trusts to be there for her," Mandy stated.

"That's awesome, I'm up for that," She exclaimed.

"Then I'm going to New York," She announced, clapping her hands together.

The two women exchanged a knowing glance and smiled affectionately. In that moment, they were both thinking about what was truly best for Selena.

-New York City.-

Selena and her friend Ashley were at the set of SNL. Eugenia didn't go because of work commitments and Selena had dinner with friends holding her models friends hand as they left the restaurant.

Selena surveyed the dressing room, having completed two promos and preparing for her upcoming music performance. A knock interrupted their thoughts, prompting Selena to stand and open the door.

Niall confidently entered the room, claiming it as his own. Selena nervously rubbed her neck as Ashley discreetly exited to give them privacy.

"What brings you here?" She inquired.

"I'm here to support my girlfriend, obviously," He responded, casually wrapping an arm around her waist.

"I'm back with Eugenia," She revealed.

"And?" He questioned, leaning in for a kiss that she did not reciprocate.

"You need to leave immediately," She asserted, pulling away and taking a step back.

"I just wanted to see you," He pleaded, his smile unwavering.

"I said go," She stated firmly, her tone more stern than usual.

"Please..." He begged, gazing into her eyes.

"Fine, you can stay for a little while," She reluctantly conceded, rolling her eyes discreetly.

"Thank you," He expressed, planting a kiss on her cheek.

Selena was called for rehearsal and proceeded with the show. Later, enjoyed dinner with her ex.

As Selena engaged in a lively conversation with Samuel about the complexities of life, her eyes involuntarily rolled when she spotted Niall making his way towards her. His presence was unwelcome, and she could feel annoyance bubbling up within her.

"Can we talk?" Niall asked, his voice tinged with uncertainty.

Samuel, sensing the tension, swiftly excused himself and went to a nearby table. Left alone with Niall, Selena couldn't hide her irritation any longer.

"What do you want?" She snapped, her annoyance palpable.

"I want this to work." Niall stated leaning on the bar.

"I didn't want you to be here. I'm working on getting my marriage back on track," She declared firmly.

"So our relationship meant nothing to you?" He spat out.

"I've realized that I love Eugenia." She confessed sipping her drink.

"I can't believe you're dumping me," He muttered.

"We could never be together as long as I'm still married." Selena replied.

"That's it for us then? It's over," He said, his voice filled with resignation.

Selena nodded, her gaze shifting to Samuel at the table. Walking over, joined her ex boyfriend.

"Hey, what happened?" He asked.

"I broke up with him," Selena replied, her eyes fixed on her phone as she sighed.

"I never thought he was right for you," He said.

Agreeing with a nod, Selena sought solace in a conversation with other friend Megan. She got into the car.

Returning to the hotel with Ashley, Selena entered their room. She closed the door behind her.

She headed to the bedroom. She finally allowed herself to drift off to sleep.
