FOURTEEN. fashion week. part 2.
Selena gracefully rose from her cozy bed, a radiant smile gracing her lips. With a sense of purpose, she prepared herself for the day ahead, making her way towards the awaiting car.
Leaning her head against the plush seat, she felt a comforting sense of relaxation wash over her. Her destination? The highly anticipated fashion show, where creativity and style collided.
Among the crowd, Selena found herself in the company of none other than the effortlessly cool Jaden Smith and the enchanting Courtney. Together, they immersed themselves in the world of Louis Vuitton, indulging in the artistry and glamour that surrounded them.
Throughout the event, she couldn't resist checking her phone for any messages from Eugenia, but unfortunately, there was nothing. Despite this, she couldn't help but smile as she watched the show unfold before her.
After a brief conversation with designer Louis Vutton, she decided to grab a bite to eat with Courtney. As they sat down, she noticed Courtney putting her phone away.
"I'm sorry for not being a good friend in your relationship with her," She said.
"It's okay. I know you were just looking out for me as a friend." Selena said.
"I should have never tried to keep you away from Eugenia." She admitted.
"I know, but what's done is done." She responded.
"You still love her, don't you?" She asked.
"I never stopped." She replied without hesitation.
"That's really sweet." Courtney said.
"The thing is, I can't get back with her because of my team." She whispered.
"What do you mean?" Courtney asked.
"They're forcing me to stay with David for discussions about my upcoming album." She explained.
"That sucks." Courtney sympathized.
"I hate it. I agreed to the deal they made." Selena said
"Why, Sel?" Courtney asked.
"I don't want her to receive hate like when we were married." She admitted.
"You should fight for Eugenia. She brought out the best in you when you two were married." Courtney said.
"I'll do that." She declared.
She stood up from the table and headed towards the door. As she heard Courtney speak up, she turned back to face her.
"I didn't mean right now," Courtney clarified.
"Oh, right. I know you weren't." She said.
"I'll be here to support you whenever you need it." Courtney assured.
"Thank you," She expressed her gratitude.
"You're welcome," Courtney replied.
"I wish everyone else was as open-minded as you, Court." Selena wistfully remarked.
"Try to convince them otherwise." Courtney suggested.
"I don't think that will work." She responded.
"You have to try, though." She insisted.
"You're absolutely right." She admitted.
Courtney smiled and took a sip of her drink, silently showing her support. Selena pulled out her phone, searching for Eugenia's number and knew that she had to fight for their love, no matter the obstacles that stood in their way.
With her finger hovering over the call button, took a deep breath and pressed it to her ear. Courtney, ever the considerate friend, stood up from the table to give her some privacy.
"Hello?" She answered, her voice slightly shaky.
"Hey, are you almost here?" Selena asked.
"Yeah, I am. Why?" Eugenia asked, trying to steady her nerves.
"I want to talk about yesterday," She said.
"I'll find you when I get there," She added.
"See you then," Eugenia said before hanging up.
She put her phone in her bag and ran a hand through her hair. A small smile formed on her lips as she thought about seeing Eugenia.
Standing up, she made her way to the car, her thoughts jumbled as she tried to process her feelings. Her phone rang again, and pressed answer, placing it against her ear.
"Hey, I'm going to the hotel. See you soon," Eugenia said.
"See you soon," She replied, hanging up and putting her phone away.
As she arrived at the hotel, she couldn't keep the smile from spreading across her face. She took videos with fans and signed autographs, all the while thinking about Eugenia.
Finally, she saw someone from the back of the head who looked like her. Her breath hitched.
"Turn around," She thought.
"Selena," Eugenia said, hugging her tightly.
"I can't believe you're actually here," Selena said, and Eugenia felt her heart swell with happiness.
They made their way to the elevator, hand in hand. They sat down on the bed in Selena's hotel room.
"I can't believe I'm here with you," Eugenia said, looking at Selena with adoration in her eyes.
"I regret letting you go," Selena said, her voice filled with remorse as she gazed down at the floor.
Eugenia bit her lip, with her eyes fixed on Selena. With a tender touch, cupped Selena's face in her hands.
"I'm right here," Eugenia whispered, her gaze locked with Selena's brown eyes.
A flicker of happiness crossed Selena's face, but it quickly faded as she glanced briefly at Eugenia and then at the wall. She bit her lip.
"I know," She said quietly.
Eugenia couldn't comprehend why Selena was behaving this way. She sighed running a hand through her hair in frustration.
"I think we need to talk," Eugenia said, her voice tinged with anxiety as she nervously bit her lip.
"We can't be seen together right now," Selena explained, her words laced with a hint of sadness.
"Wait, what do you mean?" She asked.
"I'm being forced to stay with David for press from my team. I tried getting out of the deal, but the label didn't let me," Selena revealed.
"Why do I feel like you're lying to me?" Eugenia questioned, her voice filled with doubt.
"I'm not lying," Selena insisted, her tone firm.
"You've lied to me in the past," Eugenia pointed out, her voice tinged with hurt.
"God, stop talking," Selena half-whispered, half-yelled in frustration.
"I should've never come," Eugenia said, standing up and heading towards the hotel door.
"You're being so annoying," Selena said, her frustration evident as she grabbed Eugenia's waist and pulled her into a passionate kiss.
Eugenia kissed her back, their lips moving in sync as they moved towards the bed. She straddled Selena's waist, their desire intensifying.
She sucked on Selena's lip, eliciting a groan from her. Pulling away, trailed her lips down to Selena's neck, causing her to moan and tilt her head to the side.
Selena's hands roamed over Eugenia's body, pulling her closer as the passion between them grew. In a swift motion, Eugenia flipped them over, a mischievous grin on her face.
Eugenia brushed a strand of hair away from Selena's face, locking eyes with her. Selena smirked, leaving a hickey on Eugenia's neck as a mark of their desire.
Their moment was interrupted by the sound of footsteps approaching the room. Courtney walked in and raised an eyebrow at the two exes.
"What's up, guys?" She asked, eyeing them suspiciously.
"Nothing," She said with a nervous laugh and looked at Eugenia.
"Try not to hurt her like before, okay?" She said.
"If I can get back together with her, I promise," She said.
"I informed her about the meeting about David with my label." She said.
"I'm not sure if that's a good idea." Courtney voiced her concern.
"Why not?" Eugenia asked.
"You are the reason why she has to pretend to be in a relationship. She can't seem to move on from you." She stated.
"I don't understand why people are so against our relationship. I didn't ruin our marriage." Eugenia said shaking her head.
"I actually like you two together." Courtney admitted.
Selena smiled as she observed the interaction between her ex wife, Eugenia, and her best friend, Courtney. Her eyes briefly shifted between them.
"That's rich from the girl I dated for two months." She said.
"I can't believe you said that," Courtney exclaimed, rolling her eyes.
"It definitely sounds like you moved on," Eugenia replied, chuckling softly.
"I am so over it," Courtney declared before leaving the bedroom.
Eugenia turned her attention back to her ex, a wide smile spreading across her face. Selena blushed shyly.
"I have a few more interviews to do," Selena groaned.
"I'll see you soon," She said, giving her a kiss before leaving the room.
Selena quickly changed her outfit and headed towards the car. She waved to her adoring fans before getting inside to an interview.
As she arrived at the airport, gracefully made her way through the crowd of adoring fans, taking the time to greet each one with a warm smile. After bidding them farewell, she proceeded to her awaiting vehicle.
As her fingers delicately swept through her tousled locks, memories of her ex-wife Eugenia flooded her mind, instantly bringing a radiant smile to her face. Stepping out of the car upon reaching the grand building, gracefully made her way inside, ready to embark on yet another interview about her music.
Hours later, emerged, leaving behind a trail. She smiled.
After going to the hotel, entered and closed the door. She changed into a dress and left.
Accompanied by her friends, glanced around the restaurant. Suddenly, received a nudge on her arm, causing her to smile.
As the check arrived and paid. She returned to the hotel.
Selena packed all her belongings and made her way to the airport. She went through security and boarded the plane.
A smile formed on her face as she thought about Eugenia. It was unbelievable how they had reconnected as if no time had passed.
Upon arrival at the airport, Selena was accompanied by her bodyguard. She took some pictures and headed straight to her house.
Selena entered the room casually tossing her purse onto the couch. She proceeded towards her bedroom, shutting the door behind her.
Her heart ached for her ex, unsure if anyone had witnessed their time together in the hotel lobby. Then in her hotel room.
Eugenia had left to catch her flight home, leaving Selena to enter her house alone. She ran a hand down her face, feeling the weight of the situation.
Lying on her bed, Selena played music softly in the background. She hummed to herself, a small smile gracing her lips.
Suddenly, noises from the living room caught her attention. She swiftly rose from the bed, turning off the music and closing her bedroom door with a slight grimace.
As she entered the living room, disbelief washed over her. Her boyfriend was engaged in a passionate kiss with another girl.
"Oh my god," She exclaimed, causing them to break apart and the girl to hastily leave the house.
Placing her hand on her hip, Selena glared at David, who appeared guilty and caught off guard. He let out a sigh, clearly remorseful.
Shaking her head, she watched as he approached her. David bit his lip, witnessing her head towards the bedroom, feeling the weight of the pain he caused her.
Selena stormed into the room, slamming the door loudly. She slid down against it, tears streaming down her face as she buried her head in her hands.
"Why do I feel so betrayed?" She pondered, closing her eyes.
