Selena placed her cell phone in her purse and slung it over her shoulder. She turned around to face her friends who were just as confused as she was and sighed softly.

"What just happened Sel?" Theresa asked.

"I'm not sure why, but I think she's upset with me about something and don't know what is it about," Selena replied.

She hoped that Eugenia wasn't angry about the picture Theresa had posted of her hugging Lucille a while ago. Nervously, she rubbed the back of her neck.

"I should probably leave. I'll see you guys later," Selena said.

"See you later girl," They said and decided to crash for the night at the Airbnb.

She drove to her apartment, closed the door behind her, and headed towards the kitchen. Sitting down at the table, she anxiously played with her fingers and needed to talk about the picture and get things right with her girlfriend again.

Running a hand through her hair, she retrieved her cell phone from her purse. She texted her makeup artist, Hung, to help her get ready for the iHeart Radio Music Awards, where she was attending and nominated.

Hung did her makeup for the event and instructed her to pose. He took a picture of her to post on Instagram.

When he showed her the picture, she examined it closely and nodded hugging him tight as they left her house. She went outside to the car and joined Taylor and Calvin as they walked the red carpet separate at the awards show.

Upon returning home, changed into comfortable clothes and settled on the couch to watch a show. Suddenly, the doorbell rang and she got up to answer it.

Selena swung the door open and was taken aback to see Eugenia standing on the front porch. Without hesitation, welcomed her into the apartment and closed the door shut behind her girlfriend and settled down on the couch together.

"I'm sorry for hanging up on you earlier, Selena. I was upset when I saw this on my feed," Eugenia said, showing Selena a picture on her phone of her hugging Lucile at the beach house a while ago.

"She's just a friend, you know that," Selena mumbled.

"I want to believe you, I do Selena, but I'm so scared that you'll cheat on me like before during our married," Eugenia admitted, her voice filled with vulnerability.

"I've learned my lesson. I promise I will never cheat on you again," Selena whispered sincerely.

"I don't know if I can trust you right now. I need time to adjust to being with you again," Eugenia said, wiping away a tear from her cheek and standing up to make her way towards the front door.

"I'll give you all the time you need," Selena whispered, her heart sinking as she watched Eugenia leave.

As Selena heard Eugenia's footsteps fading away, she sighed standing up off the couch and made her way to the kitchen past the younger woman. Out of nowhere, Eugenia grabbed Selena's wrist and spun her around.

Selena was shocked but didn't push her away like she had done with her ex's boyfriends in the past. Eugenia gently placed a hand on Selena's cheek, causing her to stand frozen as their lips met.

Eugenia pressed her lips against Selena's, pulling her closer by the waist. Selena reciprocated the kiss, wrapping her arms around Eugenia's neck.

They pulled each other close, smiling against each other's lips. Selena straddled Eugenia, deepening the kiss.

A moan escaped Selena's lips, causing them to break the kiss. Eugenia stood up from Selena's lap and headed towards the door.

Selena heard the front door shut as Eugenia left and went to bed. A few days later went to her closet and changed into a tank top, a yellow jacket, and jeans.

She was getting ready to attend an event she had been going to for several years. As she posed for pictures, the paparazzi snapped away.

She took some selfies and signed autographs for her fans there. Selena loved being a part of the growing generation of kids who were becoming leaders and a lot of them are currently making a big difference in the world.

After conducting several interviews about the event, she eagerly prepared for a remarkable performance in the comfort of her dressing room and warmed up before. After the show, she headed home to go to bed. She stayed for a few days and headed to the airport.
