Selena beamed, wrapping her arms around Eugenia. In return, Eugenia embraced her tightly, savoring the warmth of their connection.

Leaning back, Selena leaned in for a passionate kiss, and Eugenia eagerly reciprocated. However, their intimate moment was interrupted by the sound of someone clearing their throat.

Reluctantly, they pulled away, their eyes locked on each other. Selena couldn't help but chuckle, shaking her head at the unexpected interruption.

"She dropped by to see you," Ashley said.

"Well, I love this surprise, baby," She exclaimed.

"I'm so glad you do," Eugenia replied.

Eugenia placed her hands on Selena's waist, pulling her even closer. Selena smiled, stealing a quick glance at her friend who had spoken.

"I'm ready to work on your world tour, Selena," He announced.

"I know I am ready," She affirmed, leading Eugenia to sit beside her on the couch.

As Selena delved into planning the tour, Eugenia rested her head against the chair, watching her with admiration. Caught in the act, Selena noticed Eugenia's gaze, and a smile tugged at her lips as her song played softly in the background.

"He's right, you know. Your wearing a crown, of course it's vital," He said, causing Selena to stomp her feet on the ground, laughing loudly.

"Oh my god, you're so right," Selena replied, looking over to see Courtney recording it on Snapchat and smiling.

As she smiled and looked down at the ground, Eugenia lifted her head up and pressed her lips against hers. Selena kissed back, placing her arms around Eugenia's waist, and deepening the kiss.

After pulling away and looking into her eyes, Eugenia smirked, wrapping an arm around her waist and kissing her cheek. Selena blushed, putting her head down on her shoulder, as her wife pressed a kiss to her forehead, holding her close.

As the meeting went on for about two and a half hours, Selena blushed harder, burying her face into Eugenia's chest and laughing. Eugenia rubbed her back softly.

"Are any of you guys up to get some frozen yogurt?" Simi asked.

"Of course," Courtney said, nodding her head.

"I'm down," Ashley and Eugenia said in unison.

"Let's go, guys," Selena mumbled, standing up off the couch.

They drove to a frozen yogurt shop, with Selena in the passenger's seat, and Courtney recording on Snapchat.

As they stepped inside, the sweet aroma of frozen yogurt filled the air and their faces lit up with joy. After placing their orders, they eagerly awaited their delicious treats.

Selena and Eugenia sat together at a table, paid and content. Selena leaned in and gave her wife a quick peck on the lips, causing Eugenia to light up with a smile.

"What was that for?" Eugenia asked.

"I haven't been able to kiss you for a couple of days," Selena admitted, a shy smile on her face.

"I love you, Selena," Eugenia said.

"I love you too. I'm really sorry for cheating on you," Selena said, her hand on Eugenia's cheek.

"It's fine, babe," Eugenia reassured her.

"No, it's not. I want to be with you and no one else," Selena said, her love for Eugenia evident in her voice.

"I'm really happy right now," Eugenia said, resting her head against Selena's.

"I feel the same way," Selena said, moving her hand to hold Eugenia's waist and nuzzling her nose against hers.

"Are you two almost ready to go?" Ashley asked.

"Yeah, we're ready," Eugenia said, pulling Selena to her side.

As they headed outside to the car, Selena and Eugenia chatted and kissed throughout the ride. In the backseat, they cuddled up and ate frozen yogurt while Ashley snapped a picture of them.

"You two look really cute," Ashley said, showing them the picture on her phone.

"Can I see it?" Selena asked, beaming when she saw the photo.

"Send it to me," She added.

"Of course I will," Ashley said, sending the picture to Selena's phone.

Selena smiled and made the picture her lock screen. Eugenia chuckled and pressed a kiss to her wife's cheek.

Looking in her direction, she blushed. She brushed her lips against hers for a moment before pulling away a few inches and grinning.

"You're such a tease," Selena whined, crossing her arms over her chest and sticking her tongue out.

"You know you love me," She said, winking.

"Yeah, I love you," She replied with a blush.

"I love you too," Eugenia said, wiggling her eyebrows, causing the other woman to laugh.

Selena's friends exchanged glances, silently acknowledging their shared sentiment. While they were happy to see her in love, there were moments when it became overwhelming for them.

"Hey Selena?" Simi spoke up, breaking the silence.

"Yeah?" Selena replied, turning her attention towards her.

"Rehearsals will be starting soon," She reminded her.

"Yeah, I know," She nodded, a small smile playing on her lips.

"Just wanted to check," She said.

"I'll drop you off at the house," She said.

"See you when you get home," Eugenia said, stepping out of the car parked in the driveway.

"Bye, babe," Selena waved, watching her walk away.

Selena gazed at the road ahead, running a hand through her hair. She leaned her head back against the seat, shaking it slightly.

"Courtney?" She inquired.

"Yeah?" She responded.

"Did you love her?" She asked, looking directly into Courtney's eyes.

"I thought I did for a while. I guess it wasn't meant to be for us as a couple," Courtney replied, shrugging her shoulders.

"Thank you for telling me," Selena expressed her gratitude.

"Anytime. Um, why did you want to know?" Courtney asked, curiosity evident in her voice.

"I just wanted to know, that's all," Selena admitted.

"Well, it wasn't all that serious," Courtney stated with a sigh.

"Good to know," Selena whispered under her breath.

"Yeah," Courtney responded, gazing out of the window with a smile.

Selena couldn't help but feel bothered by Courtney's remarks about her brief romance with her wife. She grimaced, softly biting her lip.

Did Eugenia really mean anything when she briefly dated her best friend prior? How could she live with herself after almost destroying her marriage for another person?

She should feel some kind of remorse about what she did. However, she didn't feel any guilt for cheating on her wife for almost ten months of their marriage.

Shaking those thoughts away, Selena focused on her rehearsals. She entered the building, greeted her team, and worked diligently on preparations for the upcoming tour.

As the last one to leave the studio, Selena headed to Nice Guy with some friends who had been waiting outside for her. They had a great time together before parting ways for the night.

Approaching the door, Selena opened it. As she stepped into the apartment, her anticipation grew.

With each step towards the bedroom, her heart raced in excitement. Opening the door, she couldn't help but feel a surge of warmth as she laid eyes on her peacefully sleeping wife.

Leaning against the doorway, a smile effortlessly spread across her lips, reflecting the love and contentment she felt in that moment. Without hesitation, Selena climbed into the bed, gently wrapping her arms around Eugenia, feeling a sense of completeness as she drifted off into a peaceful slumber.
