Hinata's POV
Sasuke invited me over to hang out which was surprising because I barely remember anything from the party.

"Lady Hinata?" Neji calls.

"One minute." I say as I put on some clothes.

Shorts you would wear to work out and a tank top with some running shoes and I pull my hair in to a ponytail.

I wouldn't normally wear this outside but I've been friends with Sasuke for a while so why not.

I find Neji sitting at the table as I look at him and he's upset as I sit next to him taking his hand in mine.

"What's wrong Neji?" I ask softly.

"I need to tell you something." He says.

Why do those words ring a bell? Have I hear them before? They sound so familiar.

"Okay." I say nervously.

"I'm going...in to the army." He says and time freezes.

I stare at him wide eyed and I look at him with nothing but utter sadness as I stand up.

"Lady Hinata--" He starts to say but I cut him off.

"No Neji. We'll talk later." I say holding back the tears.

I leave the house after I grab my phone and keys as I walk to Sasuke's trying to hold back the tears.

I get to the Uchiha manor and I walk towards the door and I knock softly as I hear footsteps.

The door swings open to show the raven haired Uchiha in a white v-neck and black shorts.

"Come in Hinata." He says moving to the side.

"T-Thank you." I say softly.

I walk in to the living room sitting down on the couch as Sasuke joins me a second later.

"Where's Itachi?" I ask finally getting a good look at Sasuke.

His eyes were bloodshot and under his eyes were puffy from crying and I was worried.

"He's working." He says annoyed.

"S-Sasuke are you o-okay?" I ask and he looks at me.

"Of course why wouldn't I be?" He asks.

"Y-You're eyes are r-red and puffy." I say and he wipes his eyes.

"Just upset cause Itachi's been working a lot and I barely see him." He says and I sigh.

"Yeah I know that feeling well I will here soon." I say looking at the floor.

"What's on your mind?" He asks.

"Neji is going in the army." I say sadly.

"Hinata I'm so sorry." He says putting an arm around my shoulder.

"It's okay." I say giving him a soft smile.

"You don't have to act strong all the time." He says and I take a deep breath.

"Yes I do. I have to be." I say and he smiles.

"That's amazing." He says pulling his arm away.

"What is?" I ask confused.

"That even though the person closest to you is leaving you some how manage to keep yourself together." He says and I smile.

"I realize I have others around me to make me smile." I say.

"That's good." He says.

"Sasuke?" I ask shyly.

"Yes?" He asks.

"What happened at the party?" I ask embarrassed.

"You grabbed a cup of alcohol and Sakura didn't help you she took you up to a room and we kissed. I took you home. I broke up with Sakura." He says.

Sasuke's POV
I realize that saying all these things helped the weight on my chest get lifted.

I had feelings for Hinata and they've always been there but I pushed them aside because she was interested in that dobe.

She still is so I moved on to Sakura to try and push those feelings even farther away.

I didn't break up with Sakura just because she didn't help Hinata another reason was because of that kiss.

That kiss changed everything even though it was an accident I still felt something better with her.

But Hinata still loves Naruto and would do anything to be with him so I can't change that.

I'd rather be lonely living with my brother than be with someone other than Hinata.

"Sasuke?" Hinata says waving a hand in front of my face.

"Sorry I zoned out." I say shyly.

She was so beautiful with her long lavender hair and her beautiful lavender eyes.

Her figure was just an addition to the kindness and soft soul she was and her personality was so amazing.

I've been clouded by so much darkness and disappointment that she could be the light I've always wanted.

"I noticed you zoned out. You were staring at me." She says while blushing.

"Sorry." I say.

-the next day-

I wake up in the morning ready for another long day of school as I get up heading for the shower.

I take one quickly then I get dressed in a navy blue shirt with black pants and my jacket.

I leave the house walking to school silently as I see Hinata just walk in the doors.

She looked so beautiful with her hair in a bun and she's wearing a white dress with white shoes with a slight heel.

I walk in our classroom as I see her sitting at her desk talking to Naruto and blushing.

Hinata's POV
I had a good time with Sasuke yesterday but time to move forward with my life.

Neji ships out tomorrow and I couldn't be anymore depressed because he hasn't talked to me since yesterday.

He's been spending time with TenTen and I haven't seen him since then so I've been kind of down.

I sit next to Naruto listening sort of when something catches me off guard as I look at him wide eyed.

"Hinata will you go on a date with me?" He repeats.

"N-Naruto." I say as I shiver a little.

"Here take my jacket." He says putting it around me.

"T-Thank you." I say shyly.

"So is that a yes?" He asks.

"Y-Yes." I say smiling.

Sasuke approaches us as I look up at him giving him a small smile still surprised by the question just asked.

"Hey teme!" Naruto says as Sasuke glances at him then back at me.

"Dobe. Hyuga." He says when he eyes land on Naruto's jacket.

His eyes fill with sadness as he meets my eyes then looks at Naruto the rest of the time.

"Hinata and I are going on a date later." Naruto says smiling more.

"Awesome." He says calmly.

But I can see in his eyes that he is hurting more as he walks off with Naruto to their seat.

-after school-

Naruto told me to meet him by the bleachers for our date so I walk there with a smile across my face.

I wait their patiently when some guys show up and I get very uncomfortable as one smiles at me.

"Hi Hinata." The one smiling says.

"D-Do I know y-you?" I ask nervously.

"No but Naruto sent us here." He says caressing my arm.

"W-Where is h-he?" I ask nervously pulling my arm away.

"He didn't really set this date up." He says.

"What d-do you m-mean?" I ask sadly.

"He set this up. Said we could have our fun so he could have a chance with Sakura. See." He says pointing somewhere.

I follow his finger to see Naruto talking to Sakura and they are both laughing and blushing.

I gasp as I feel my heart shatter in to a million pieces as tears escape my eyes fast.

"It's okay Hinata. You have us." He says walking closer.

I was now pinned against the bleachers as the man caressed my body as I started breathing heavy.

"It's okay. Relax." He says as he brings he mouth close to my neck.

"Get away from her!" Someone yells as the guy is thrown back.

I see Sasuke's back as he stands in front me ready to attack all the men but they just leave.

"Hinata what happened? Where's the dobe?" He asks and I point towards him.

"He cancelled for Sakura?!" He yells grabbing my hand.

He pulled me towards them as I cry harder seeing them look at Sasuke then me.

"YOU TRICKED HINATA! YOU ASKED HER OUT THEN WENT TO SAKURA! YOUR TERRIBLE! BOTH OF YOU! SHE COULD HAVE BEEN RAPED!" Sasuke yells loudly.

"S-Sasuke it's o-okay." I say holding hand tightly.

"No it's not Hinata! Those guys were touching you!" He says looking back at me.

His eyes showed anger and concern as he turned back to the two angrily as he took a deep breath.

"I thought you were better than that Naruto." He says calmly.

"Why do you care? You don't even like Hinata. You don't like anyone." Sakura says harshly.

"I care because I'm in love with Hinata." Sasuke says and my eyes widen.

My hand drops from his as I look at his back in shock as they all three look at with shock.

"Hinata--" Sasuke starts to say walking closer.

"Stop!" I say drying as I run home.

I run in my house as I close the door locking it and I see Neji standing there with suitcases.

"Lady Hinata what's wrong?" He asks walking towards me.

"Nothing." I say as I look at his belongings.

"Where are you going?" I ask.

"I'm getting shipped early." He says as his words hit me hard.
