Hotel Elevator

3rd Person P.O.V- In the short time span Elton pushed the button and the elevator giving a jolt, it's once slow ascend comes to a rather quick stop at Level 6.

Devon- Regaining our barrings as well as our footing. "Whoa..."

Katrina- Although uneasy we gaze around Elton as the doors open.

Jake- (Hums and Shrugs) "Looks pretty normal to me."

Sam- Our nerves settle as we continue to take in the eerily lit hallway. "Definitely like the rest of the hotel..."

Colby- (Scrunches up face) "Coated in layers of dust and cobwebs."

Aaron- Still trembling as I lean propped up on the closest wall. "So, do we get off here?"

Elton- (Scuffs) "No, we keep playing."

Corey- (Shakes Head)

3rd Person P.O.V- The rest of the kids, all kinda just stand there as by now it wasn't worth questioning Elton and his antics, however they were all feeling a bit jittery from the initial ascend and clueless as to why their brother was going mental.

Aaron- (Eyes Widening to Saucers) "Keep playing? Elton this is most definitely, not the place to be playing the elevator game."

Elton- (Smirks) "Sure it is, you really think I picked the 6th floor at random? Absolutely not as it's between Levels 3 and 9, after that it's all the way to the top; Level 13."

Aaron- I was about to continue berating Elton for his sheer stupidity, when a full bodied apparition appears just outside the door.

3rd Person P.O.V- Everyone, Elton included all moved at once having squished together at the back of the elevator. There were varying looks of fear and curiosity. Taking a good look at whomever or whatever had just appeared in front of them, it was in silent agreement that they were all seeing the same thing; a young man at least in his early 20's with short and sharply styled light brown locks, bright blue eyes filled with mixed emotions and dressed in what looks like a centuries old uniform.

Davian- (Frowns Deeply) Quickly gazing around. "I am Davian and I must warn you." Once more quickly gazing around. "You never should have come here." Moving slightly closer as I press my palms to the doors and hold them open a bit longer. "You're all in grave danger, he is going to take you; as he did the others. You need to leave while you still can."

3rd Person P.O.V- If one looked into that elevator, they'd see a group of young adults. The  two girls wrapped around each other and sheltered in the farthest back corner, the twins both wrapped around Jake, one off to the side and the older two of the group standing protectively in front of them. However what or more accurately who; wouldn't be seen, is the Bellhop.

Aaron- (Stutters) "He? Who is He?"

Bellhop- Looking at each and every one of them. "Whatever you are doing, you need to stop now and get off the elevator."

Elton- (Rolls Eyes and Scuffs) "Thanks for the warning kid." Quickly leaning forward as he moves back and out of the way. "We'll take the warning under advisement. Before he could rush into the elevator with us, I pressed the button shutting the doors and for the 3rd floor.

Corey- I let out the breath, I didn't even realize that I was holding. (Huffs Softly) The elevator gives a lurch as we slowly descend, all of us relaxing although a bit more on edge.

Aaron- Gazing around at the others. (Scowls) "Are you all out of your minds?! That was a real ghost and he just risked what was left of himself to warn us."

Corey- (Sighs Heavily)

Elton- (Snickers) "I'm not, so sure on the whole ghost thing." Wrapping my arm around Corey's waist as he leans into me. "However, I do know that we are continuing."

Corey- (Nods in Agreement) "That's how we get our evidence." I gently shake the camera in my hand.

Aaron- My eyes widen as I now just notice the cameras. "How long have you been filming?"

Elton- (Raises Eyebrow) "Since we got here, I wanted to document everything." Looking around at the other kids; out of the two girls Devon had their camera on and rolling, out of the twins...well they both had their cameras and Jake had his, while Corey has ours. (Sighs Softly) "Aaron are you the only one, who didn't think about turning on let alone bringing a camera?"

Aaron- Looking down at the floor.

Elton- (Shakes Head) Seeing the boys guilty look, says a lot.

Corey- (Hums) "We know you've been going through a lot, but taking it out on us isn't the least bit helpful." Reaching out as I tussle up his already messy hair.

Elton- Gesturing around, the rather confined space. "This is supposed to be a once-in-a-lifetime experience. No one knew that this place still even existed or what shape it would be in." (Smiles Softly) "Your fears are valid, however you also know that there are lines I would never cross; especially when it comes to your lives."

Aaron- (Snorts) Elton was best known, for pushing limits to the extreme and risking everyone's lives for really great content and awareness. (Shakes Head) Suddenly jolting to a sudden halt. (Sighs in Relief) "Thank God, I can get off now."

Elton- Having already pushed the button for the 9th floor. (Grins Coyly) "I don't think so Aaron."

Aaron- (Growls Lowly) "You're seriously gonna brush off the warning we were given."

Elton- (Hums) "Yeah, I am. I don't know what's been happening to this place over the last few centuries, but it's rather curious that everything is still in working order and I am having a very hard time believing we encountered a ghost."

3rd Person P.O.V- It could be clearly seen, that Aaron had finally gotten himself on everyone's last nerve.

Jake- (Scuffs) "Should have left him home."

Katrina- (Frowns) "He's making this trip unbelievably miserable."

Devon- (Nods Agreeingly) "Next trip, he stays home!"

Sam- Gesturing to my brother. "Even we aren't this bad..."

Colby- (Huffs) "At least we know how to have fun."

Corey- Pinching the bridge of my nose, to stave off the inevitable migraine. (Sighs Tiredly) I honestly couldn't disagree with the kids as Aaron has been nothing but miserable this whole trip and it's honestly taken the excitement out of it.

Aaron- The ascend to the 9th floor seemed a bit faster and moments later there is a ding as the button for the 6th floor glows. "Did you press that?"

Elton- Turning from the doors that hadn't opened, to the number pad. (Shakes Head) "No, I didn't."

Corey- (Frowns) Trying to defuse the suddenly tense air. "Elton, maybe we should get off. We have experimented with the elevator game in the past and it's never really panned out."

Elton- (Hums Softly) "I'll give you that, but we never tried it in a supposedly abandoned location, with a history surrounding the elevator."

Corey- (Smiles and Shakes Head)

Jake- (Smirks) "He gets points for that one."

Katrina- (Giggles) "Yes, he does."

Colby- We come to a jolting stop and hear the door ding, looking at it rather expectantly. "We stopped..."

Sam- Once more an unease filled the air, this time a lot heavier and darker. (Frowns)

Devon- Bouncing back and fourth on my feet. "Now, what?"

Elton- (Shrugs) "If Aaron wants to get off that badly he can, however I want to see this through." I gaze around at the others and although their unease is seen, so is sheer curiosity. (Hums Softly) None of them made a move towards the doors, just Aaron.

Aaron- (Huffs) "Finally, I'll see you all later...if you survive." Stepping up to the doors, they don't slide open even after I practically beat at the button to open them. "What the fuck?!" Turning suddenly to face Elton. "Are you fucking with me?"

Elton- Now a bit startled myself. (Shakes Head) "No, I'm not." I even step forward and attempt to open the doors.

Corey- Suddenly it sounds like a storm hits from nowhere as well share mirrored look of pure horror. "Elton, open those doors now!"

Elton- Hands pressed to the doors, trying to open them. "I'm trying!" Suddenly there is a ding and the elevator gives a sharp lurch sending us to the floor as we vastly ascend.

3rd Person P.O.V- Everyone either clings to each other or the railings as their screams echo through the vast maze like halls that make up the grand Hollywood Hotel.

Aaron- Eyes closed tightly. "Elton, I don't give a damn what floor we stop at next; we are all getting off!"

3rd Person P.O.V- The elevator suddenly halts, sending everyone sprawling out in different directions. Once the group untangle themselves and get back up, although on shaky feet.

Katrina- It took us quite a bit, to regain our footing.

Devon- (Frowns)

Sam and Colby- We make sure our cameras are still in working order.

Jake- Dusting myself off as I lean against the nearest wall. (Chuckles Lightly) "That was exciting."

Corey- Taking Elton's offered hands as we get situated on our own two feet. "Elton..." I gaze around the confined space we are in. "That was the fastest, I've ever experienced an elevator ascend and this is the longest so far, where the doors haven't opened."

Elton- (Hums Thoughtfully) Once I know everyone is okay, I step towards the doors and the elevator gives an eerie creek as they suddenly open.

3rd Person P.O.V- The group moves closer to the doors, however they do not get out. They share varying looks of disgust and confusion.

Katrina- Scrunching my nose up. "Elton, in any of the stories was there reports of a fire?"

Elton- (Hums Thoughtfully) "No, however this can be the damage caused due to the lightening strike."

Devon- (Shivers)

Sam and Colby- "Weird!"

3rd Person P.O.V- Everyone is obviously seeing the same thing here. The walls are practically charred, there are ceiling tiles and beams scattered everywhere amongst all the debris.

Corey- (Frowns) "It honestly looks like this floor took the brunt of the damage." The main floor and even the floors we did stop on, didn't remotely look like this.

Aaron- (Huffs Hotly) "Gonna listen to me now?"

Elton- All of us turn towards Aaron who has a smug grin plastered across his face. (Smirks) I gesture to the hall before us. "By all means, you are free to get off."

Aaron- (Frowns) "Up here?" I look from Elton, out the doors and down the littered hall. "This looks like a safety hazard!"

Jake- (Rolls Eyes) "You are the one who wants to get off so badly, so there ya go." I had the nerve to just push him out the doors, however...

3rd Person P.O.V- A darkness seemed to settle as the air grew chill. The small group looks through the mess towards the end of the hall, where a ghastly green light appears.

Aaron- (Eyes Widening in Horror) "Elton close the doors!"

Elton- Practically beating the button, trying to get the doors closed. "I'm trying Aaron!" Suddenly there is a blast of air as the glowing light rushes towards us and a menacing laughter rings loudly.

3rd Person P.O.V- The doors slide shut at the last minute as the laughter only rose in pitch. In mere moments, the four walls take on an electric green and blue as there is a loud resounding crackle then snap.

Elton- I grabbed for Corey as the kids all grabbed for each other. "Well...Shit!" There was no warning as the elevator just dropped, sending us flying as it plummeted to the ground at a life-defying speed.
