Finally reaching our destination, Jungkook and I both got out of the car.

"Where are we?" I asked curiously, gazing up at the colossal building in front of us.

"Secret." Jungkook said, placing his index finger on his lips.

"Now I need you to cover your eyes until we get in." He said.

I widened my eyes from his sudden statement, and quickly shook my head in denial.

"No way! What if you take me to like some dark alley and kill me?" I fearfully said as I hugged myself, afraid of whatever devious plan he had in mind.

"Geez, I'm not going to murder you. Now cover your eyes or else I will." Jungkook eagerly instructed as he folded his arms, patiently waiting for me to cover my eyes.

"Nope." I said as I folded my arms as well.

Jungkook let out a sigh.

"You asked for it."

With that, he suddenly grabbed onto me and forcefully covered my eyes with his large hands.

"HEY!! LET GO!!" I angrily yelled, struggling to get him away from me.

"Calm down. It's just a surprise." Jungkook calmly said as he began to walk, leading me along with him.

"You better not be planning something stupid." I said as I obediently followed along, seeing nothing but darkness in front of me.

As we entered through a door, I felt a cold breeze brush against my skin.

"Holy crap, it's freezing in here." I said as I shivered.

"We're here!!" Jungkook excitedly shouted as he finally released his hands off of my eyes.

I gasped as I saw a gigantic skating rink in front of me.

I reluctantly gulped.

"Why aren't you cheering?" Jungkook confusedly asked as he raised an eyebrow at me.

"I-I don't know how to skate..." I anxiously muttered.

My confession caused him to burst into laughter.

"Hahaha what're you? Five?" He teased as he held his stomach and continued to laugh at me.

I pouted as my cheeks flushed from utter embarrassment.

"Whatever, I'm not going to skate." I said, grumpily folding my arms.

"Geez, stop being a chicken and let's go." Jungkook said as he pulled my arm towards the skating shoes shop.

"H-Hey! I said I don't want to!" I protested as tried to get out of his grip.

He completely ignored what I said and got two pairs of skating shoes.

He handed a pair to me along with a pair of gloves.

"Put this on."

I hesitated, but I wore them.

After tying my shoes and wearing my gloves, I walked over to Jungkook, waddling like a penguin.

"Urgh, how am I supposed to balance in this?" I said as I tried my best not to fall.

Jungkook laughed.

"Yeona, your shoes aren't tied tight enough. Here, I'll fix it for you." He generously offered as he made me sit down on the bench and crouched down in front of me.

As he began to tie my shoelaces, I couldn't help but stare at him.

He was such a gentlemen.

"There we go. Now, ready to have some fun?" Jungkook asked as he cutely winked at me.

I gulped.

"I'm scared.."

Jungkook chuckled and wrapped his arm around my shoulder.

"Don't worry, just hold onto me when you're about to fall. I'll protect you." He said, giving me a warm, assuring smile.

I blushed and slowly nodded.

As we got to back to the skating rink, we gradually stepped onto the slippery ice.

I quickly held onto the railings, while Jungkook swiftly skated away from me.

He glided through the ice, making beautiful jumps and twirls like a real professional skater.

How was he so good at everything?

"'I'll protect you' my ass." I said as I rolled my eyes in disbelief.

I attempted to maintain my balance, trying my best not to fall.

After a few minutes of struggling, Jungkook came over to me.

"Hey grandma, you've only moved 5 inches from where you started." He said as he laughed at me.

"S-Shut up! I'm trying my best you know!" I said as I gradually moved forward little by little.

"Here, let me help you."

Jungkook suddenly grabbed both of my hands off of the the railing, and pulled me along with him through the ice.

"J-JUNGKOOK!! I'M GONNA FALL!!" I yelled in extreme fear.

My legs were trembling and I could feel myself losing my balance.

"Don't worry, I got you." Jungkook said as he grinned at me.

Suddenly, I slipped and began to fall.

Jungkook swiftly caught me, pulling me closer towards him.

I blushed at how our bodies pressed against each other.

His hands were firmly placed on my waist and our faces were only an inch apart.

I could feel my heart beating like crazy.

"Be careful Yeona." Jungkook said, displaying a small smirk on his face.

My cheeks flushed even more.

"Ready?" He asked, gradually backing away  from me.

I immediately felt myself losing my balance again.

"W-Wait Jungkook!!" I shouted as I quickly pulled him towards me, tightly wrapping my arms around him as I hugged him.

Jungkook froze.

"D-Don't move.. please..." I fearfully pleaded.

I heard him chuckle.

He slowly hugged me back, gently stroking my head.

"I'll protect you."

My heart skipped a beat as I felt millions of butterflies flutter in my stomach.

Why was he making me feel so nervous?
