New Feeling
As Jin and I casually walked out of his company, he suddenly turned around to face me.
"So, what do you want to eat?" He eagerly asked, giving me a soft smile.
I couldn't believe I was going to eat lunch with someone I barely even knew.
"U-Uh, anything's fine." I replied awkwardly.
"Ah, stop being so nervous around me Yeona! Come on, we're friends!" Jin said as he swung his arm around my shoulder.
My cheeks instantly flared up from his sudden action, but I eventually nodded in response to his remark.
"There we go. Now let's go!" Jin happily said as he pulled me along with him.
He decided to take me to a simple barbecue restaurant.
As we entered, all the girl worker's eyes sparkled at the sight of Jin.
"Welcome~" They said, hurriedly rushing over to Jin and standing extremely close to him.
I scoffed as I crossed my arms.
This was why I didn't like to go out with good-looking people.
"A table for two please." Jin politely said, completely ignoring the girls and their flirts.
The girl workers led us to a table and we situated ourselves on it.
"I'll get 20 teriyaki barbecue sticks please." Jin casually ordered.
I widened my eyes and looked at him in utter shock.
"T-TWENTY?!"
"Hehe~ I really love the barbecue here~" He said as he cutely grinned at me.
I chuckled.
"I'll just get the same, but just one please." I ordered.
"Can I ask you two something?" The girl worker suddenly asked, Jin and I simply replying with a nod.
"Are you two dating?" She asked, curiosity filling her eyes.
"Ah, no. We're just friends." I assured as I smiled at her.
Her face immediately lit up with great elation from my response.
"Then can I please have your number? Please?" The girl worker eagerly asked Jin, her eyes sparkling with utter excitement and joy.
"Sorry, I don't just give my number to someone I just met." Jin said as he politely declined, giving her an apologetic look.
The girl worker pouted as she gloomily walked away with her head down.
"Ah, I feel bad now." Jin said as he sadly pouted, referring to how he had just hurt her feelings.
"Aren't you used to being asked that all the time?" I curiously asked, wondering why he was feeling bad for something that probably happened to him often.
"I mean, I never liked hurting people's feelings. It just aches my heart." He responded, displaying a genuinely sad expression.
Wow, he's so different from Jimin.
He actually considers how people feel, treating them the way they should be.
"You're so nice Jin." I said, warmly smiling at him.
My remark caused his cheeks to slightly flare up.
"Ah, you're making me blush." He said as he shyly rubbed the back of his neck, causing me to chuckle at his cute reaction.
"So, how's Jimin treating you?"Jin curiously asked as he changed the subject.
"Well, he's really rude and bossy most of the time, but I guess he has some sweet sides too." I said as I slightly shrugged my shoulders.
"Ah, he's so lucky to have such a cute assistant like you." He said as he warmly smiled at me.
My heart fluttered, causing my cheeks to flare up from his sudden comment.
Our food finally came, and Jin's eyes sparkled with great excitement.
He eagerly picked up his barbecue stick and took a large bite from it.
"Mmmmm~" He hummed in delight.
I chuckled at how adorable he was.
I slowly took bites from my barbecue, while Jin already finished his 10th one.
"Wahh~ you're such a fast eater!" I said, amazed by his metabolism.
"Hehe~" He said, cutely grinning at me.
After a while, we finally finished our food.
Jin lightly patted his stomach and let out a defeated sigh.
"I'm so full..." He muttered as he puffed his cheeks.
"Of course you are. You literally just ate 20 barbecue sticks all by yourself." I said as I chuckled.
"Hey, I just really love food okay." He said, letting out a laugh.
"Let's get going." Jin said as he stood up from his seat and headed over to the cashier.
As he paid for us, I walked out of the restaurant and patiently waited for him.
After a few minutes, Jin finally came out.
"Thank you so much for lunch! It was delicious." I said, brightly smiling at him with great gratitude.
"No problem." Jin replied as he gently patted my head.
"Well, I'm going to head back home." I said.
"Awe, already?" He said, sadly pouting at me.
I couldn't help but chuckle and pinch his cheeks from how adorable he was.
"Agh, you're too cute." I said as I grinned at him.
Jin's cheeks immediately flared up and reddened.
"I-I'm not cute!" He protested like a little kid.
"Whatever you say Jin." I said as I let out a chuckle, waving at him goodbye as I walked away from him.
~ Jimin's POV ~
As I was casually walking down the streets, I noticed two familiar figures coming out of a restaurant.
I squinted my eyes to get a clearer view, gasping in shock as I realized who they were.
"Is that Yeona? With... Jin?"
I cocked my head in utter confusion.
"What are they doing together? Maybe I should say hi."
As I was about to approach them, I saw Yeona pinch Jin's cheeks, brightly smiling at him.
They sure looked like a couple...
I suddenly felt a stinging pain in my heart that I've never felt before.
"Agh, why am I so irritated?"
