She walked out of the classroom angry and sad. She was hurt. But she continued walking. Finally she made it to the cafeteria. She was hungry, that was for sure. But she felt that she shouldn't eat. She felt as if it was crime to eat.

Don't eat. You heard what they said, you're too fat. She thought to herself.

She let out a sigh and decided that skipping meals wouldn't hurt. So she never ate. Instead she, turned right around and walked back away from the cafeteria. She walked down the hall in silence when something caught her eye. Pasted on the side of the wall in the hall, was a notice about cheerlading tryouts.

Why not try it out?

She asked herself. So she went to try out that afternoon, and as you can guess, she made the team. Though, when you really start over thinking something, it can get a hold of your whole day. It can change your whole day into either a good day, or a bad day. You have that kind of power.

After try outs she grabbed her pompoms and begun walking towards the girls gym room. But before she could get inside, she found herself stuck with the two blonde girls again.

"Just because you made the team, doesn't mean you're talented. They just got you because they were desprate for more cheerleaders." the first blonde one with the dimple on her left cheek spat looking at her evily.

"Besides, no one would wanna throw around and try to catch a size hundred. I mean, you would just end up crushing us. God, loose some freaking weight. " the second one with the birthmark above her eyebrow said coming forward and giving Alexis a tight shove making her stagger back and fall over.

With that they both turned around after giving each other high fives as if they had just won an Oscar of the best insults and swayed their hips walking gracefully away and into the gym room leaving Alexis to lay there hopelessly.

Am I fat?

Am  I that ugly?

I knew my skin was too dark.

She never even registered as the first tear slid down her face as she caught it with her arm.

Not good enough.

I should stop eating.

I should get more powder so I can at least apply it on my face to look lighter.

Thoughts begun to swirl in her head as she slowly got up and sniffled.

"Are you okay? " startled she quickly wiped away her tears and turned around to find a gorgeous thin pale skinned girl standing there in her cheer outfit with a bigger baggy hoodie over her outfit.

Alexis couldn't help but stare in awe at how gorgeous she was. Flawless skin, flawless body, flawless everything. The girls' dark black hair was tied in a pony tale but it fell down ever so slightly better than a normal one giving her the high school touch. She wasn't tall but she was skinny and that made her legs look so delicate and longer.

Alexis knew this feeling, jealousy.

She wanted it. She wanted to look like this stranger. If it meant people would stop, than she desperately wanted it.

"Y-yeah I'm fine. " Alexis stuttered and cleared her throat. "How long have you been standing there?"

The girl smiled, "Long enough to know that those girls are bitches."

"It's nothing, " Alexis tried to hide away the pain in her voice.

"My names Amber Jackson." the girl, who Alexis now knew held out her hand and she took it. "Look, there's a party this Friday night and I was hoping if you could make it."

"I don't really think my mom woul-"

"Garcia and Wendys' boyfriends are gonna be there. " Amber smirked.

Alexis looked at her and frowned, and as if Amber could read minds, she smirked.

"Garcia is the first blonde with the dimple and Wendy's the one with birthmark. "

"Oh but why are you telling me about their boyfriends?"

Amber smirked, "You're so not getting it. What I'm saying is, you wanna be popular right? "

"Not really, I just wanna fit in. " Alexis said slowly but nodded anyway.

"And you want Garcia and Wendy to stop pushing you around right? "

She nodded again.

"Than this is it. This party is it. You follow me, and I can help you. " Amber held her shoulder and looked at her.

Alexis just nodded and looked back up at Amber as she smiled.

The only thing going through Amber's mind, was that Alexis wouldn't have to learn the hard way just like she did.
