Kai's POV

"Now everyone is here besides Ronnie!" Percilla yells from the treehouse.

I first looked towards Percilla then I began to follow her gaze towards the entrance.

I instantly notice the girl with Ava as the one Noah showed me from his phone. Black hair trailed to the middle of her back, and piercing grey eyes to contrast them.

I noticed Ava staring at her before she rings the cowbell hanging from our rope.

Most of us made our way to them, and Ava began to speak.

"Guys. This is Juno. I met her earlier at school!"

"Did you skip school again?" I asked, a slight hint of worry imbedded in my voice. Ava was close to getting kicked out of school for getting in so much trouble. I wanted her to be the first of us to have a nice life.

"Oh shush, Kai." She smiles slightly and waves me off with her hand.

"Okay. The kids like introducing themselves, so for now. This is Kai" I nod my head towards her and Ava continued to point, Rachael, my brother Amore, Reece, Shawn-Tomlyn, and I'm sure you know Noah. Aren't you guys dating?"

I began to smile, but it instantly dropped when I noticed Juno's face.

She quickly drops the sick look from off of her face and replaces it with a smile.

"Hey baby!" He smiles and tangles his arm around her waist. "I was actually just about to head home. You should join me."

"She just got here. She hasn't even seen the treehouse yet." Ava pouts.

I look to see what everyone else thinks, and notice Noah's arm squeeze Juno's waist. This raises a hint of worry, especially when I see Juno wince.

"It's okay.." Juno smiles while shifting awkwardly in her place, "I have tons of work to finish either way. I had a great time with you though, Ava."

Sadness overtook her face. Although it's very vague, it's still there. Is no one else seeing this? I'll have to talk to Amore about this later. I always go to him and he pays great attention to detail, so I'm sure he was curious too.

"It's okay if you want to stay." Noah stuck a blank face in Juno's face. "I can give you my notes later on."

"No!" She yells. The unexpected tone of voice made me wince, "I'll go with you.."

"Cool." He smiles at her and turns around to begin walking.

She reluctantly walks after him before they both stop. While everyone got back to what they were doing, I creepily watched them. I felt so weird, but my curiosity overtook my will.

I could see only their profiles, but that was all I had to see to know that something was wrong.

Eventually Juno crawled onto Noah's back. They began to walk and I, strangely enough, followed them.

I checked my phone for the third time since we left. It had been thirty minutes and he hasn't stopped walking. He seemed as if he wasn't going particularly anywhere, just walking to walk.

He finally comes to a stop. His mouth begins to move and Juno looks around. Abruptly, Noah grunts before throwing Juno from off of his back. I slightly wince, and as before, wanted to confront Noah. But, I couldn't do anything. While I'm buff, I was nothing but an ant compared to him. He continued to injure Juno, and I couldn't do anything. It sucked to watch anyone go through this.

I decide the best thing to do would to text Amore and ask him to call the police.

*call the cops, im in the wooded area near Ray Porson.*

*are you okay?*

*im calling for someone else. I'm perfectly fine*

*okay..*

*theyre on their way.*

Bringing my eyes back to the scene, I wince at the sight of Juno's face. Her makeup was running down her face, caught in the dampness of her tears. Bruises began to form around her eyes.

The sirens of the police could be heard in the distance.

"You got mugged walking home." Noah speaks, his breath heavy. He grabs her coat, which was still hung on her body, and dug into the pocket. He took out what I'm assuming was her wallet, and began to walk out of the woods. "He took your wallet and left. Those marks are his fault, too. Kay?"

She didn't say anything back. She stared at him, holding her jaw. He chuckled before smacking her hand from her face, and grabbing it instead. His hard grip made her whimper.

"K..Kay" her voice came out shaky. To that, he laughs.

"Kay." He smiles and kisses her forehead, and walks into the woods.

Because I want to show pictures of Juno, i will be changing her look. She will instead have black hair, which she dyes  frequently.
