ANDREA'S POV

HIS HANDS wrapped gently around my waist , his warm ,minty breath against my neck making my stomach flip . I gently fold my clothes and turn around to face him ,my arms around his neck, he licks his lips seductively and his eyes fall to my lips .

"You're distracting me , Chris. I need to get these clothes done "

"I'm just holding your waist not your hands ,so....I'm not much of a problem "

If only he knew that he was my biggest problem. I stare at him for a while and gave him a light kiss on the lips.

"You better stop doing that I'm trying to control something down here "he says.

My eyes quickly went to his crotch area and my eyes shot back to his face and the beautiful smirk on his face was appealing.

"You're so beautiful , Andy "

"I am ?"

"Yes, you are "

Something about this felt wrong. It was the fact that the gorgeous man in front of me broke my heart .
I moved away from him as memories of our past flashed in my head .
I took a sit on my recliner and looked at my fingers , different thoughts going through my head.

I shot a glare at him .

"Don't call me that " I said and looked away from him.

"Are we fighting now ? "He asks " I really want us to talk about this "

The sincerity on his face made my heart soften. He was willing to do this for me ,and here I am throwing him away. I loved this man in front who was on his knees trying to make me understand.

"Chris....please get up" I said "I'm getting hungry let's grab a bite ,all these memories are making me sick.

He smiled fondly at me .

Did he just say that ? This was the first time in months he had told me that but I couldn't say it back.
I simply ignored it and kissed his cheek "Let's go "I say and I didn't miss that look on his face.

"Come on ! Eat it ! . It tastes really great " I said looking at Chris who was busy eyeing his cheese burger and milkshake .

"I'm not used to do this ,Andy "
He paused for a while seeing the reaction on my face "I'm sorry I didn't mean it that way "

"No, it's alright , I shouldn't have brought a billionaire to a cheap restaurant " His face fell .

"I don't like it when you call me that "

"Call you what ?"

"A billionaire " he says "it hurts in a way because we are all humans "

I cut a piece of the burger and placed in his open mouth.
"'Mmmm , this tastes really good " he says "Another one ?"

I place another one in his mouth and I smile at myself ,enjoying what I was I doing. We got stared from people and some people smiled at us. We looked like a couple.

"That's everything Chris " I said "My hands are already aching "

"We should come here often , it's really nice " he said and we both stood up and I watched him drop a big tip for the food we ordered.

"You know that's too much, right ?"

He scratched the back of his head and said "Um.... I'm just being generous "

I kissed his cheek and he walked me out of the restaurant .

We got into my car, and he opened the door for me. What a gentleman ,I thought.

Chris and I decided to spend today together just like old times.
We were in the states museum. My favorite pink camera in my hand as I walked around taking pictures of sculptures and any thing that looked pretty.

"How are you even enjoying this ?" Chris asks .

"It's fun for me ,you should try it sometime " I say .

Bright light flashed on me and looked at Chris who had just taken a picture of me.

"Why did you do that ? ,My face probably looks awkward " I said and shit him a glare.

"This was the perfect time and besides you look really cute " he said while looking at his iPhone.

I snatched the phone away from him and looked at the picture. He was right , I didn't look that bad.
I used that as a perfect opportunity to take a picture of him when he was distracted by looking at a Mona Lisa 's painting.

He quickly snatched the phone away from me and he smiled at the phone and said "You've been a bad girl ,Andy "

I smile at him and say "I'm much worse "

"I know that ,my queen "
He says and my cheeks heat up.

"Come with me ,I want to show you something "

He follows my trail and I led him to a dark corner far away from the eyes of people.
I opened my Gallery and showed him a photo .

"This is a photo of Natasha giving a man money in a shady place , isn't something suspicious here ?"

He nods and says " It is ,but it doesn't have anything to do with us "

"It does Chris "

I didn't leave New York just because I had a horrible break up , I left because I was threatened by some gang men ,telling me not to come back and I and Chris showing affection in public only puts me in danger .

"What's wrong ? ,What are you not telling me ?" Chris asks with a worried expression on his face.

From my peripheral vision ,two men in a black coat where looking at us.

Shit! I'm being followed.

We have to get out of here.

"Chris...can we go to your house....fast "

He wanted to talk but I dragged his hand and we headed for the door ,and we both entered Chris's car and drove off.

I glanced at the rear view mirror ,looking for anyone but there were gone.

Whew!

"Do you mind telling me what's going on ? " Chris asks as his grip tightened on the steering wheel

"I'll explain when we are some where safe "

Sitted on Chris's bed ,my mind going through everything that just happened. How long have they been watching me ?

I looked at Chris who looked frustrated ,trying his best not to ask me what's going on.

"Chris ..there's something you need to know " I said "I'm being followed "

"What the ....,why are you being followed ?"

I bit my lower lip and looked at him and said
"I received some threats from a couple of gangsters one year ago telling me to leave New York after out horrible break up. Living in Houston was hell , I missed my family here so I came back " I said looking at his expression. " I needed a job because I was broke ,I finnaly git one and I've not noticed anyone follow me until...now "

"Andy, why didn't you tell me this earlier ! ,you could have been dead and I can't bear to lose you...again "

He sat close to me on the bed and wrapped his arm around me and kissed my forehead.

"Nothing is going to happen to you Andy , you're safe with me "

This was the problem ,Chris always acting like my Knight in shiny armor to save the day. This is my problem and I have to fix this

"No...don't say that , you have to let me fight my own battles , I appreciate what you're doing but you have to know that there are things you just can't do " I said almost in tears " I'm taking a flight tomorrow , I'll miss you and-

"No , you're not leaving ,you're staying here with me , I know you need help but you're not always the boss ,Andy !"

He said and walked out of the room ,shutting the door with a loud Bang.

I laid on his bed till everything went.....BLACK.

"Wake up sweetheart, I just cooked us dinner "

The sound of his voice waking me up. I opened my eyes and my eyes almost fell out , Chris was shirtless in front of me. I smile at him and kiss his cheek ,them get up and walk out of the room ,with Chris trailing behind me.

I entered the kitchen taking in the smell of spaghetti and chicken sauce.

"I didn't know you could cook "
I say teasingly.

"I can ,it's one of my five skills " he said with a smirk .

"What are the other four ?" I ask

"Flirting, making my woman laugh , tap dancing ,and singing "

Tap dancing ?

"You're terrible tap dancer ,Chris " I said and let out a laugh.

"Um.....I'm still working on that one ,but um very good at the second "

"You sure are " I said and placed on the table in front of me ,my food .

I had a taste and I released a tiny moan .

I looked up and saw Chris staring at me. His hand moves to mine as he holds it carefully in his .

"I know this may not be the right time but " He paused for a while "Be my girlfriend "

"Huh ?"

I don't think I heard him well.

"I said I want you to be my girlfriend , I really want us to start over and go through whatever this Shit is .. together "

I smiled at him and touched his cheek, drawing imaginary circles on it.

"Is that a yes?" He asks.

I nod slowly .

He smiles at me and says " I'm going to make you the happiest woman alive ,Andy ".

"I hope you do and by the way I got fired yesterday for missing work for a week " I said " I'll really like to work for you as a.... secretary, I guess "

"What ! , I need an assistant, so you're going to work as my PA "

"Thanks a lot"
