ASSALAMU ALAIKUM

Backbiting is something so common in this modern world  where the backbiters and gossip spreaders turns out to be the popular girls , well before the ladies were almost always associated with backbiting but now there is no prejudice of such type, no offence

However , the best part is you do not have to worry , when some one is backbiting you they are giving you some of their good deed , who would do such a thing? . in short , you must LOVE THE PERSON WHO BACKBITES YOU!

And like all the other things in Islam it is not something only about the here after , I do not think any one would like to have backbiters as their family or friends , I mean if a person says something about a girl to me , how should I trust the person to be my friend , who knows may be she would say something about me to someone else too , and I believe all of us have some moments or things about us that we would not want others to know , let it be our low grade or a sin.

And listening to your brother's or sister's faults are also a sin , try to stop the person from eating their meat , and here again when it comes to life in this world , don't you think  the things you know about a person determines the way behave to her , well I do , and I DO NOT WANT TO HATE ANY ONE , like Mahatma Gandhi said hate the sin not the sinner

and just remember , when you are telling the truth about someone it gets to be gheeba and when you lie , well it is a lie and that is also a sin (from Prophet (PBUH) 's words) and if you want Allah to forgive you , you need to first apologize to the one who you back bited about
