It was a very long day all and all. I was still pretty tired and trying to block the freaking mental pop outs took a lot of effort and concentration.

I just wanted to go home and go to bed. But then I thought about sleeping and dreaming and I didn't want to go to bed anymore. I would never sleep again if that meant I wouldn't have to deal with Baron.

When I finally sat in Matt's car I could barely keep my eyes open.

"You should sleep Jass" Matt said in a disapproving tone as the car groaned to life.

This was totally unfair. I mean Matt had slept as much as me and he didn't look like he was about to pass out.

"Don't want to" I said pouting.

"You stubborn little girl"

"Got a problem with that?"

"Hey I'm not the one nodding off" Matt said smiling.

"Bite me!" I answered and turned my head the other way.

And Matt just chuckled.

When we parked in front of my house, our dads were talking together while my father was watering the flowers in front.

"Well, looks like the perfect time to tell them about your idea" Matt said and he stepped out of the car.

I followed close behind not so sure my idea was so good anymore.

"Dad, we have to talk" Matt said when we had reached them.

"What's going on?" his father asked.

My father looked and my eyes and answered the question for him.

"He told you, didn't he?"

"What!? You already knew they were leaving!!?" I hissed.

"Or course I did. For a while."

"Why didn't you tell me?!"

Gosh! This was so unfair! Matt was my best friend. Didn't that mean I was supposed to know everything?

Did everyone know before me?!

"I wasn't going to be the one to drop the bomb. You would have reacted badly. I know how susceptible you are" my father simply answered.

"Hey! I didn't react badly!"

"You did sob in my arms..." Matt stated.

"Bite me" I mumbled to him.

"Alright kids stop arguing. What did you want to tell me?" Matt's father asked.

"I don't want to leave dad..." he simply said.

"I know but this will be a great experience for you."

"If Matt lived with us would you let him stay?" I just said in a small kid voice.

"I guess..." Mr Allen said

"Could he stay with us? Please daddy?" I begged and made puppy eyes.

"I guess if Peter doesn't mind and if your mom agrees I have no problem with it..." my father answered.

"Is this what you want Matthew?" his father asked him.

"Ya... ya it is dad." Matt answered and there was something weird in his eyes.

And it felt like there was just some kind of unspoken conversation going on between them. But I shoved that away and waited for his answer.

"You sure you want to feed my son while I'm gone?" his father simply said to my father.

YEAH!!!!

I literally jumped in Matt's arms and then when he put me down we started to jump up and down like little kids.

Matt is staying. Matt is staying. Matt is staying!!

"Thanks daddy!!" I said and hugged him tightly.

"Hey hey, you still got to ask your mom..." my father breathed.

"I will!! Thanks!!"

"Not like I hadn't seen that one coming..." my father said and rolled his eyes at me.

I just grabbed Matt's hand and dragged him to where the hardy flowers were and I knew my mom would be watering as always.

"MOM!!" I yelled.

"Dang Jass, you want to make me deaf?" Matt whined.

"What's going on sweetie?" my mother asked me while she stopped the water hose.

"Can Matt stay with us while his dad is gone? Pretty please? Daddy said he could if you said yes. Please..." I asked in the little girl voice again.

"Well looks like the choice is already made..."

I pouted and made big doogy eyes.

"Of course Matt can stay." she answered and smiled at both of us.

"I'm not paying for all of your food though!" my mom added and started the wather hose again.

I turned around to look at Matt and I started to clap my hands together and got all jumpy again.

Matt just smiled at me.

Well... That definitely had been easy!

Autor's note : Okayy so that was a little short and kinda rushed but I hadn't written that part yet... the big parts are already written but there's parts missing here and there and I don't know my mind just wasn't setting on this story... kinda been working on a new one that I could be putting here.. anyways hope you enjoy it, the good stuff is coming soon, it's really just the beginning.
