Bleh!

I'm not super happy with this one... might change it later... that's what happens when I write little bits by little bits...

Oh well...

I made you guys wait too long. Sorry again.

Things will be cleared out in the next chapter which should be uploaded... oh I don't know.. in one month! ;P

Sorry... :S

"MATT!" I exclaimed.

Oh my god! Matt was here, alive. And HERE!

Matt, Matt, Matt!

How could this even be?

I sat up, as he stood there, crouched beside me, lying on the floor and threw my arms around his neck, but that's when I realized something was wrong, something more wrong then the fact that Matt was here, actually here.

He didn't seem happy to seem me. He didn't shared my joy or wrapped his arm around me like he usually would have, kissing my forehead or something. He just stood there, cold as ice.

"Matt, what's wrong?" I asked, backing a way.

Alright that might not have been the smartest question because so many things were wrong right now but still... he just got up on his feet, his face completely expressionless.

What was going on now?

And moreover what was Matt doing HERE?

"Come on, let's go we have twenty-three minutes before Basil gets his strength back and his brain bounds back on, plus we have to get to a boat." Matt said his voice as cold as his face.

Wait what?

WHAT had he just said?

"Jasmine, get up and moving we don't have time to waste. Twenty-two minutes now. We have to go." Matt said and turned around before starting to walk away.

Could things could get more freaking confusing!?

Before I could bombard him with question, a man, that looked around twenty years old, with long blond hair tied in the back, completely clothed in black, the kind of things assassin would probably wear, the same thing Matt was wearing right now, grabbed Matt by the arm and stopped him.

"Wait Dima, what about Baron!? I can feel him, just let me try to link and I'll know where he is and we can leave with him! We can't leave without him!" the man said.

Dima? No no, that's MATT!

MATT!

That was Matt! At least, looked exactly like Matt. And I KNEW Matt, so I would have been hard to fool!

Oh my god what's going on, what's happening?

"Follow Garret and Dimathrias" Baron had said.

Oh no.

No, no, no, no, no...

Can't be, that's IMPOSSIBLE!

Maybe that man wasn't Matt.

Yes that was it, exactly it, that wasn't Matt!

I was tired and seeing things...

"I've already spoke with him. He said to leave. Leave without him and get the girl out. That's why we're here, get her out before Basil can use her" the man that looked exactly like Matt said and then started to walk towards where he was heading few seconds ago.

But I wouldn't follow him. Why the hell would I?

This wasn't Matt. This couldn't be Matt. I wasn't leaving with strangers, ones that were probably murderers from what I knew.

"We have to get Baron out" I whispered as I got up on my feet that had a hard time holding my weight.

I felt completely exhausted and drained of life. This was all too confusing for me to keep up, too much to bear. I just wanted to wake up from this nightmare and never ever think about it again.

I wanted all of this to go away.

"Jasmine, don't make me drag you out" the one that only looked like Matt said.

"She's right Dima, we have to get Baron out, if we leave him here Basil is going to try to take all his Life Force, we can't have Basil boost up with a Spirit Life Force right now!" the blond man said.

Well whatever what he had just said meant, at least I agreed with the "we have to get Baron out" part.

Because whatever I wanted to believe, I knew Baron, and in a way trusted him. I mean, I had seen him in my dreams for as long as I could remember. And right now, the man that looked like Matt scared me, and I didn't know the other one, I needed a familiar face if I was going to leave this place!

Oh god this was all just TOO much! I had just learned that my parents were DEAD! Why the hell was all of this happening to me!?

"Calm down Jasmine, everything will be alright" a voice said in my head.

Baron's voice.

This was getting into a habit now, hearing voices!

"Just go with Garret and Dimathrias and everything will be alright"

"I don't know them, I'm not going with them!" I thought.

"I know where he is, Baron, I can take you" I then said out loud, to the two men in front of me.

"Alright let's go!" Garret nodded, while the other one, I still didn't believe it was Matt, narrowed his eyes at us.

When I took my first step to get back towards the dungeons I had been in not so long ago, that's when I registered everything around me.

All the walsl, and the great architecture, clean and marble white of the residence that had been standing few minutes ago was now was completely corrupted by the green of the vegetation that had found a way through the walls and windows.

Trees had fallen on it, crushing the ceilings in some places, while branches and leaves and vines had made their way through cracks and invaded the place.

There were people, trapped under the pieces of fallen construction while others had vines wrapped around then. Some where unconscious, others were asking for help weakly, but none seemed to be dangerous to us.

For now.

As I tried to make my way back to get Baron, the two men following me, Baron was shouting in m y head to just leave him and go somewhere safe, that he would be alright and that Basil would get me if we didn't leave now.

But I ignored him.

As angry as I had been at him mere minutes ago, now I was just thoroughly confused and I knew I needed him to put all the pieces together. And I needed someone with me that I knew.

Because the man that looked like Matt wasn't Matt. It was simply impossible. He would have acted differently if it was him. So it wasn't him. Maybe it was juts a sick joke my mind was playing me.

When we finally reached the rocky door, I heard the one that looked like Matt, Dima, hiss behind me.

"It's a tricked door. Only an Immortal can open it!" he said, his voice almost angry.

"But isn't she half Immortal? Won't it be enough?" Garret asked.

"I have no idea..." Dima said, shaking his head slightly "Jass, think about the door opening alright? Concentrate on it. I give you ten seconds and then we're out of here if it doesn't work!"

I listened to him, and closed my eyes, thinking about that damn door opening, seeing it again open, seeing the guard closing his eyes too and making it open, picturing the way the dark corridor looked like.

Next thing I knew I heard it open.

"She did it" Garret said smugly.

"Don't celebrate too fast alright!" Dima snorted and then lead the way into the pitch black halls which lightened with every deeper step we took.

"Should have left without me!" Baron was saying in my head "You won't be able to get me out anyway"

When we finally stood in front of the great glass, the three men looked at each other, complete and utter silence filling the room.

"It's one feet thick glass, you can't break it, and there's no way to open it" Baron said out loud.

"There must be a way they got you INTO it! If they opened it to put you in, there's got to be a way to get you out!" Garret said and then just like that, before my eyes, it was as if there was an explosion inside of him and then a fog stood where he had been, but I could see forms in it... and eyes.

I shivered.

"Sixteen minutes left, I give you three" Dima said.

"By gods... what happened to you?" Baron suddenly asked, stepping closed from the glass.

"I could ask you the same thing" he simply answered and then there was a loud sound, like metal being torn.

"Well looks like Garret still has a neck at escaping!" Baron chuckled and then the same thing that had happened with Garret happened with him, and the smoke that was Baron, literally flew up towards the top of his prison and then he disappeared out of it, appearing in front of me, few seconds later.

"Missed me?" he smirked a little.

I only smiled faintly because for some reason I felt better with him now, I felt more confident.

"Alright let's go!" Dima said and then we were all running outside the dungeon and then outside the house, towards the shore.

When we finally reached what seemed to be their goal, a small boat, and that we all got in it and started to sail away that's when I decided it was time for me to finally get answers.

"We will give them to you" Baron said, but then frowned when he looked behind me, frowning "I heard you call him Matt..."

"Well... he looks exactly like him... but I'm probably wrong..." I trailed.

Just like that, Dima who had been behind me, walked around to stand in front of me and look into my eyes.

God... he looked too much like him to not be him... but that couldn't be Matt... I knew Matt, this wasn't Matt, this wasn't how Matt would act.

"Are you sure?" Matt's voice said in my head.

"After my mom died, one night I was so sad that I tried to climb up your window to see you but I was too weak and I fell in your mother's hosta. But for some reason, you knew I needed you because a few seconds later you were outside, still wearing your pyjamas and the first thing you said was "You ruined the hostas" and then I cried in your arms all night."

Tears filled up my eyes.

"Matt..." I whispered, the name almost making me choke.

How could this be Matt... how could Matt be so cold right now, so distant...

"Because my real name is Dimathrias. And I am a Spirit."
