Thirty Nine

"I just want to see my wife," Dominik rasped on the other end of the line. Salina scowled as she was finally alone for a moment after the bridal team did everything on the checklist.

"That's bad luck, baby," Salina cooed to her temperamental husband. "It's bad luck to see the bride before the ceremony."

"It's bad luck to fuck the night before but that didn't stop us last night." Salina could hear the smirk in his voice. Salina rolled her eyes up to the ceiling.

"Well technically we did everything by the book." Dominik could practically see her right now, cocking her hip out while she gets all huffy.

"You're so hot," he groaned into her ear. Salina snorted, "I'm hanging up on you, I'm walking in like twenty."

"I need you now-"

"I'm hanging up-"

"After can we-?"

"Only if you cry!" She demanded as she hung up.

Salina smiled down at her phone, trying to push it down while brushing the stray strands of hair behind her ear while checking herself in the mirror. The dress was form fitting down to her thighs, pooling down to the floor and leaving a short train behind her.

The dress was an ivory white, shimmering in the light with expensive jewels lining it. The cowl neckline hugged her chest, the thin double straps draping down accentuated her slim shoulders.

The back of the dress dropped deep into her lower back, the necklace that he'd gotten her from the very beginning hung from her neck. The sword was smothered by her tits as the other sun pendant was hanging above it.

Her curls were in a strategically messy up-do. Curls falling and framing her face delicately after her soft makeup was done to perfection.

"You look gorgeous," Vivienne pushed her way in with a gentle grin on her face. She was dressed in a pale lavender dress that reached the floor, her own curls were intricately braided down her back.

"Well thanks to you and your great taste," Salina hummed.

"How're you feeling?"

Salina turned away from the mirror, brushing her hands down the front of her dress. "I'm... calm surprisingly. Like content, I always imagined this day being so hectic and stressful. But I'm lucky enough that I have Domo, you, and Lev helping me. But as long as I'm walking down to Dominik at the end of the day I'm happy. He wouldn't let anything go wrong anyway."

Vivienne was grinning ear to ear, thriving off of her family's happiness. "That part is definitely true, Aleksei and I saw him pull a gun on one of the planners so- I think he has that part taken care of."

Salina huffed a short laugh as she slid her heels on. Vivienne threw her thumb over her shoulder, "Lev is outside, ready whenever you are. The music should be started just now."

The bride had to stop herself from squirming in excitement. Instead, she just nodded quickly with a toothy smile.

Vivienne held the door open for her, as soon as Salina stepped out to hold Lev's arm Viv had rushed off to walk down the aisle herself with Aleksei.

He'd begged both Dominik and Salina to be partnered with her.

"Nervous?"

"Not at all," Salina met Lev's gaze evenly.

"He's been off his rocker since you left your bedroom this morning. I've never seen a grown man throw so many temper tantrums I swear. We'll have to cuff you both together to avoid a catastrophe at this point."

"He's not that bad," Salina pursed her lips.

Their eyes met briefly and neither could stop the burst of laughter from their mouths. They giggled all the way to the large doors. In front of them was the expansive green house that Dominik had proposed in. Luckily, they were able to completely transform the place while keeping the plants safe.

Everyone was sat and decorations were strung meticulously, a long aisle awaited them beyond the white doors shielding them. It lead to the alter built specifically for them where flowers and vines draped and grew over. Where her husband stood amongst them all.

Inhaling deeply, Salina looked at Lev for a moment. The older man saw past any facade she may play into and only saw her wide, dark eyes staring up at him.

His hand covered her own that was safely tucked against his arm, squeezing it comfortingly. Lev kissed the top of her head gingerly, careful of her hair and her veil that was entwined in her up-do and out of her face.

"We're lucky to have you in the family, you know that?" Lev murmured to her as his voice thickened with emotion.

A lump caught in her throat, her eyes going glassy before she nodded up at him. She lifted his hand and kissed the back of it, "Thank you," she choked out.

The doors opening dramatically drew both of their attention, Salina bounced from either heel- her face splitting with a wide grin. She got to take in everyone's hard work, they didn't have a large audience thankfully but everyone was sat in their few rows on either side of the white aisle that was littered with colorful flower petals.

There was a cacophony of music on either side of the entrance, soft piano played accompanied by a harp from what she could hear.

But she was too busy walking her way down to Dominik to fully appreciate the band at the moment. Behind him was a grinning Aleksei and Dima who even had a small quirk to his lips in their matching tuxes.

Her husband stood strong besides Angelo- who was conveniently ordained- looking handsome as ever in a classic tuxedo. The vest underneath his jacket buttoned with material that matched the gold jewelry she wore.

His neck was barren from any tie after they'd agreed a bow tie was simply not in the cards for Dominik.

But she'd forgotten all about it when her dark brown eyes met his own, Dominik's eyes couldn't find one single thing to focus on. He was trying to take her in all at once, but the beauty was overwhelming. He instinctively stepped forward, stopping for a second when he realized where they were.

He exhaled through his nose with frustration, his hands aching to hold her. They've been separated for hours at this point.

Salina, sensing this and practically reading his mind, had gotten halfway down the aisle at this point with Lev by her side.

When they made eye contact again, she nodded over for him while biting her lip to tamper down her smile.

Dominik's shoulder sagged with relief, chuckles scattering the crowd as he made his way down to meet her. The mafia Don paid them no mind, shooting a smirk at Lev as he possessively reached for his wife.

"You couldn't let me do my one job?" Lev deadpanned at him.

Salina hummed, "You did amazing at your job, Lev. Thank you." She kissed him on the cheek as Dominik tugged her away eagerly. Lev leaned down to kiss her opposite cheek, "Always, малышка."

babygirl

Dominik finally had her to himself as Lev found his seat at the front. He hauled her into his chest as he walked her down himself to where they are supposed to be standing.

He murmured against her neck as he did so, kissing up her neck and over her cheeks. "So beautiful... Gorgeous... You're the only thing worth looking at, you know that?"

Salina giggled, feeling him kiss either side of her mouth before hovering over her lips just barely brushing them. Her low lidded eyes peered up at him through her lashes, admiring his handsome face.

"The tux suits you, mon cœur." Salina purred as she ran her hands down his chest. "I love you," she batted her lashes up at him.

He groaned and opened his mouth to respond but unfortunately, Angelo cleared his throat to interrupt their hushed whispers.

Salina turned to him, looking mildly annoyed before the Italian man tugged at his collar and began the introduction.

"We are lucky enough to find ourselves a witness to the truest testament of love..."

When she glanced back at her husband, looking content now that everything has started, she saw he was still impossibly close to her and staring at her lips.

"Behave," she managed to whisper unnoticeably.

"I missed you," he exhaled at the same volume. She softened and reached between them to kiss her fingers and press them to his lips. Dominik smirked, refraining from cooing at how cute his wife is.

With him temporarily satiated, she stepped back just a little to create a more appropriate amount of space between them.

It all felt like a blur when they were reciting the vows Angelo read to them, Dominik cradling her cheek as he gave her his undivided attention. It was as if the world around them had never existed.

"Dominik Ivanov, I now pronounce Salina Ivanov as your lawfully wedded wife... Again. You may now kiss-"

Salina was drawn into a long kiss, her lips parting instinctively as Dominik licked at her bottom lip. Both moaned while deepening the kiss immediately. "I love you," he growled against her mouth before breaking the kiss only momentarily.

He smushed gentle kisses over her swollen lips once, twice, five times before suddenly hauling her up into his arms with a large grin.

Salina laughed openly, the crowd cheered dramatically. Seeing the couple uncharacteristically happy and free as they made their way down the aisle. The music got louder as they did so. Dominik halted just before the door.

"The transportation to the reception is outside for everyone, the cars are designated just follow the directions from the assigned staff. We'll be arriving to the dinner... eventually," he directed everyone. He couldn't care less where they ended up honestly as he turned out of the ceremony to their limo.

Salina had a dress she needed to change into once they got to the reception. While the others settled they had a private room all to themselves until it was time time for their entrance.

She spent the entirety of the ride laid against the leather fabric, underneath Dominik as he fully appreciated her wedding dress. Endless praise falling from his mouth as he got to fully appreciate it.

When they'd gotten to their room where her dress was hung up, Salina barely got to look at it as she was pushed against the door.

Her lips were raw and bruised with his kisses but she could fine no complaint. Her arm hooked around his neck, hiking herself up as he quickly caught her.

"Wanna hear the vows I wrote?" she panted against his mouth. Dominik grunted.

"I wanted to go first," he frowned while pulling away. Her lipstick was smeared across both their faces and down his neck. His hair was all over the place as well and it made her smirk.

"Too bad," they both wrote their own vows separately. However, they wanted to keep this moment private between the two of them. Their promises to each other had no business being read in front of a crowd.

"Dominik Aleksandr Ivanov," Salina uttered as she held his face. She tugged him close while brushing her nose against his own.

"When we met, everything as I knew it had already changed. I thought that was a bad thing at the time. I'm glad I was so wrong," she brushed his dark hair back adoringly.

"You were one of the first people I'd met to show me the respect I deserve and you did it without asking anything in return. I've never had anyone look at me the way you do, I don't want anyone else to either."

His eyes were soft, his entire face was open and easy to read. Her fingers cradled his jaw and squeezed his cheeks playfully.

"You are the funniest, most intelligent, most loving man I've ever had the privilege of meeting. And I don't tell you that enough. You're deserving of every good thing and you are more than your job. You're a loving husband, a future father, and my best friend. You're my Domo and I wouldn't change a thing about you and not a thing that we've been through. All those things brought me to you and I couldn't be more thankful."

Her voice had grown thick with emotion, cracking at the end of her speech. "I love you, I was always meant to be yours. You are my heart." Tears that she was trying to keep at bay had fallen anyway, streaking down her cheeks as Dominik hurriedly kissed them away. They led him right to her pout, to which he pecked as if it were his duty.

"So, so perfect. My perfect girl," he cooed. His own voice had grown raspy, if she could see his eyes she'd see they were misty. His chest ached with love, it was so full that it ached for her.

He'd moved them from the wall to the couch besides them. Salina perched in his lap before leaning to mold their chest together. She nuzzled into his shoulder, they held each other in a comfortable silence for a moment.

"My eсолнышко," he exhaled against her hair as he inhaled her sweet scent. "I didn't know the meaning of crazy before you."

little sun

Salina giggled against his shoulder before he cupped the back of her neck and forced her face up. Their foreheads knocked against one another. His hands trailed under her dress and onto her thighs, massaging them eagerly.

"My every waking thought revolves around you, you permeate my dreams and fill my lungs with breath. I was a dead man walking before I finally got you to myself. Before we married, something pushed me on. I thought it was the business and being the best. But now that I have you, I know I was just biding my time and creating the best life possible for you. I know that because now I could step down-easily- if you asked me to. You're all I need. I'm fulfilled with you by my side."

Salina sniffled, kissing his upper lip as she was overwhelmed with emotion.

"You know I love you, baby- you know that right?" He whispered against her mouth. "I w-worship you, the ground you walk on," their kisses grew more passionate. "I'm devoted to you," the kiss became desperate.

"I'd die for you," he snarled as they rocked against each other. The kisses were frantic.

"Tell me you know that. Fuck- Fucking tell me you know I can't live without you."

Salina gasped, holding his head to steady herself. "I know!" Her voice pitched up, "I know, I swear Domo!" Her hips pushed against his own, the heavy fabric of her dress pooled around them in piles.

"Yeah?" he smirked against her mouth before sucking on her tongue teasingly. His thick fingers brushed against her lace panties. Salina mewled, dragging her nails against his scalp and drawing a low hiss from her husband.

"Like that?" he felt her leaking through the thin fabric. Feeling her nod hurriedly, she felt the perfect pressure against her clit before it was taken away abruptly.

Her hazy eyes widened as he turned them over on the couch. "Don't we have to get you dressed?" Dominik reminded teasingly as he kissed over her chest. He admired her dress for another long moment, knowing she was changing before burying his face in her lap.

Her mind lagged, catching her breath before sneering down at the man burrowing into her clothed legs.

"You'll regret that," she warned.

"Will I?" he huffed amusedly.

"Mhm," Salina pushed him off and let the heavy dress drop. She felt Dominik's heated eyes on her white lingerie, specifically the white gartered stockings she wore. He immediately sat up, his eyes widened before she was grabbing her new dress.

The fitted white dress reached her lower thigh, the top clung to her tits with the soft white fabric glowing against her brown skin. She wore collared sleeves separate from the dress with the same fabric, the same veil that fell down her back matched this dress as well.

Slipping on different shoes, she got to work fixing her makeup and hair.

"I regret it," Dominik husked as he leaned down to kiss her ear. Her eyes narrowed through the mirror, swatting him away.

"Just you wait, let's see how long you last through the hours long reception," Salina sang.

~~

The reception, although it wasn't exactly how Dominik would spend the next few hours, was a good time so far.

Salina grinned wide as Angelo and his wife danced in the circle of people, she watched from besides him at their separate table overlooking the crowd. She raised her glass, cheering them on encouragingly,

Gifts were scattered all around them and the cake they'd just cut was finished in front of them. Dominik watched her contently, Salina moved to the beat of the song. Everyone was buzzed or on their way to drunk as the celebration continued.

Lev was drunk, dancing with a Spanish woman. Vivienne and Aleksei had found themselves inseparable all night and the only one not dancing was Dima.

He had tasked himself with taking care of everything behind the scenes so the day ran smooth enough. But Dominik thinks he just wanted to get out of dancing.

"We need to share the champagne before it's gone from the tower," Salina insisted as she tugged him up and over. Dominik followed dutifully, holding her close as the party went on. Smirking, he reached up to grab a single glass for the both of them.

Salina inhaled sharply as he tugged her against him tight.

"Where's mine?" Her brow raised at him, she is expecting for them to link their arms and sip from their glass. She doesn't care if he thinks its stupid.

Dominik rubbed her back as he looked mighty amused about god knows what. "Don't you trust me, жена?"

wife

Salina had narrowed eyes up at him, grumbling for a moment. "I guess."

His mouth parted, "You guess- what the fuck?"

Salina laughed, her head tilting back as her recently freed curls tumbled down. "Are we doing this or not?"

Dominik grunted, cupping her jaw and sliding her grip down to her throat. Salina gasped, watching as he took a long sip of the champagne. Brushing his thumb over her bottom lip, Dominik slotted his mouth over her own. Salina moaned, swallowing down the drink he pushed past her lips.

Drinking what she could, the rest of it slid down her chin. Dominik was quick however, licking up the remnants with an arrogant grin.

"Good?" he teased.

"Not as cute as I imagined it but I think I liked that way better," she shot him a smirk of her own. He hummed in response as he finished cleaning up her face with his thumb tenderly.

"How's my makeup?" Salina suddenly asked as she fixed his button up. Dominik's brows raised as he gripped her hand, he took his time trailing his eyes down her face and then down the entire length of her body. He lifted her hand and spun her slowly to fully appreciate her.

Tugging her back into his chest, Dominik purred. "Absolute perfection."

"Yeah?" she bit her lip to stop her smile. Her cheeks were hurting by now from how much she's been doing it.

"Always."

"Selly!" Vivienne squealed while bounding over. Aleksei towing after the drunk woman. They two immediately attached to each other like magnets, Salina giggled wildly as Vivienne gushed about the wedding and how much fun everyone was having.

"Dance with me please?" Vivienne pleaded.

"Ditching me already?" Aleksei claimed behind her with his brows raised in amusement.

"Yes," both women answered at the same time. Salina peered back at her husband who gave her an encouraging nod and a pat on the butt.

The groom watched his wife closely, finding Aleksei by his side along with Lev and Dima who meandered over.

Lev reached and pat Dominik on his shoulder. "You did good, Domo."

Dominik grunted, "I always do good." He peered at the older man, "This time I did exceptional."

"The poor girl," Dima snickered to himself.

Dominik shoved him with a glare. Aleksei pushed between the two, "Where are you two headed again?"

"Jesus, how many times do they have to tell you?" Dime glared at his brother.

Lev patted the youngest on the head, almost pityingly. Dominik begrudgingly answered, "Italy. We're staying at one of Angelo's vacation homes. Our flight leaves tomorrow afternoon, Salina didn't want to rush out night of."

"Smart girl," Lev murmured as he took another sip of his drink.

"While you two are gone that means Aleksei can finally move in on Viv."

Aleksei looked sharply at his brother who just through him under the bus.

Dominik rolled his eyes, "Vivienne is a grown woman. Although my wife will be upset... Decide whether this is worth it, kузина. I won't protect you from her if you hurt her friend. And she is vengeful."

cousin

"I mean... she loves me enough not to ruin my life right?"

There was silence.

"If it makes you feel better if I were to ever look at another woman twice she told me she'd burn the house down and drain my bank accounts." Dominik grinned into his glass as he lifted it to his mouth.

"Good thing for us you find other women disgusting," Aleksei snorted. But he grew serious after a moment, "I don't want to mess this one up. I'm putting effort in, I'm keeping my head screwed on right for her. I can't say for sure it'll work out but I really am trying."

Lev squeezed his shoulder, "If it's meant to be then that's all you need, son."

Dominik glanced up as the song 'No Hands' began to play. Immediately, he looked at Salina who bent at the waist with her ass against Vivienne. The two women danced enthusiastically to the song.

"Жена! You only do that for me!" He barked, only half kidding, going to break up the two of them. Vivienne held up her hands and happily danced on her own.

Salina frowned but dragged him closer, "That lasted longer than I thought it would honestly."

The two stared at one another, rocking to the music. "This," he gripped her ass. "Is a privelage only I have earned."

"I suppose your right," she smirked. "Domo," she suddenly sighed as she held his face.

"Think it's okay for us to go home? I miss you to myself. I'm tired of all these people, I just want my husband." Salina batted her lashes at him and even went as far as to making her eyes glassy with unshed, needy tears.

"My beautiful girl," Dominik quickly kissed all over her face. "We will leave- yes? My love, so precious for me. We'll go home, I miss you too. They can manage without us."

He wasted no time, while Salina was giving her goodbyes to Vivienne and then the boys- Dominik was grabbing a microphone from the DJ.

"We're leaving. У нас с женщиной много дел на сегодняшний вечер," Dominik grinned salaciously. "You're welcome for inviting you. Drink what you want and use the driving services provided. I won't be paying for funerals or damages. The moral of today is that I love my wife and we're better than you-" Salina ripped the mic from him.

My woman and I have much to do tonight.

Her eyes were widened at her husband, Salina was visibly flustered at him this time before recovering.

"What he means to say is that we're so thankful for the love and support we've revcieved. We hope everyone enjoyed themselves and that you get home safe tonight please. I got to have a beautiful wedding to the love of my life and I'm grateful everyone was able to celebrate that with me," she put the microphone down with a exasperated look to Dominik who only chuckled as he kissed her.

Bending down, he lifted her up easily and left with her in a determined stride.
