Today was the day, Richard and I were going to present our project to our class. But my mind wasn't focused on that. 

All I could think about was Richard. 

We had grown closer over the week, and I was starting to fall for him. He wasn't what I thought he was. 

I kept looking at the classroom door, waiting for Richard to come in before class started. As if he sensed I was thinking about him, he comes into the room, a little out of breath, and takes the seat beside me. 

"Sorry I'm late, I forgot something in my car." He said, putting his backpack on the back of the chair. "Don't worry!" I said, giving him a reassuring smile, which he returned. 

"Okay, class. We're going to get started on our presentations." Mrs. Jacobson started. "Our first presentation is going to be... Alisha and Jake."

Richard's POV 

As our classmates were presenting their projects, I kept looking at Ella. She was looking so beautiful. Over the past week, all I can think about is her. I think I'm in love with her.

She had me so entranced, that I didn't realize Mrs. Jacobson called on me and Ella to present.

I quickly snapped out of it and stood up making my way to the front o the classroom with Ella following me close behind.

"I'm not sure, Maya. You know that's not really my scene," I said with exasperation. "Come onnnn, Ella! You're not gonna make me go by myself, are you? Besides, Richard is going," she hinted, her smirk returning to her face. I breathed loudly, "Fine!!! I'll go." Maya jumped up and down with excitement. "Okay, I'll come to your house after I get ready, and we can go together." I agreed and we walked to lunch.

I spent that entire time, thinking about seeing Richard at the party. I knew he was going to look unbelievably good, and I wasn't sure I was going to be able to control myself.

Richard's POV
