They always knew this day would come, but that doesn't make it any less surreal.
After planning for months and months it was finally time, and they almost have to pinch themselves to be sure they weren't dreaming.
"Are you nervous?"
"Not really....a little I guess."
Taehyung smiles softly, leaning against the railing that lines the balcony, looking out at the sparkling lake.
"What does Jimin have you doing?" Jungkook asks from the other line, they'd been split up for almost three days now and, even though he wasn't supposed to, Jungkook had to at least call.
"Nothing right now." The brunette chuckles. "He forced Vic to get a facial and a manicure earlier though."
Jungkook laughs. "I bet he hated that."
"Yeah, he left me a very heated message." Taehyung smiles. "What are you doing?"
"Nothing. Namjoon and Hoseok left for a while so I'm just enjoying the break." The younger chuckles. "They're driving me crazy."
"Tell me about it. Jimin and Yoongi haven't let up since Tuesday." Taehyung sighs, looking across the courtyard to the other side of the hotel. "Come outside."
"Isn't it bad luck for us to see each other before tomorrow?"
"Don't tell me you're that superstitious."
Taehyung smiles when he hears Jungkook moving on the other line, his smile growing when he sees the younger step out on his balcony.
"Hey." The brunette smiles.
"Hey." Jungkook smiles back, leaning on the balcony. "I miss you."
"After tomorrow we'll always be together. Shouldn't you be enjoying your last few days of freedom?" Taehyung asks looking at him.
"Freedom? You call Namjoon and Hoseok locking me in a hotel room and forcing me to cut my nails freedom?" The younger asks, laughing along with Taehyung. "This is literally torture."
"They're really excited. I am too." The brunette says. "How are your vows coming along?"
"My vows have been finished for weeks, Tae. I should be asking you how yours are coming along." Jungkook says raising his eyebrows. "Have you written anything?"
"Hmm, yeah." Taehyung chuckles. "They're coming along."
"You suck. We're literally getting married in the morning." The younger complains, laughing at his future husband.
"Oh, shut up. You know I'm kidding." The brunette says rolling his eyes. "They're finished, it's just hard to fit everything I want to say into one minute."
"Really? I had a hard time getting up to one minute." Jungkook says shaking his head.
"Idiot." Taehyung laughs.
Jungkook laughs, falling silent as he looks at Taehyung, a fond smile settling on his lips.
"What?" The brunette asks as he looks back at him.
"I love you." The younger says. "I can't believe tomorrow's the day."
Taehyung chuckles, his face flushing slightly. "I love you too. And believe it, there's no going back."
"No going back." Jungkook repeats.
They both fall silent, looking at one another as if they hung the stars one by one.
"I should go before Jimin comes back." Taehyung says reluctantly, he wanted to stay and talk but he knew Jimin would freak if he knew they saw each other.
"Yeah, Namjoon and Hoseok might be back soon too." Jungkook says, pouting softly. "See you at the wedding."
"See you at the wedding." The brunette chuckles, pushing himself up from the railing. "I love you."
"I love you too, baby." The younger says, pulling the phone from his ear and ending the call.
Taehyung smiles at him once more before walking back inside, shutting the doors behind him with a sigh.
Just as he steps back inside the door opens and Yoongi walks in holding the take out he and Jimin went to get.
"I got the food." He says holding up the bag. "Jimin's on his way, he stopped by the front desk to be sure everything's all set for tomorrow."
"Thank you, Yoongi." Taehyung says as they sit down on the couch. "I really do appreciate everything you and Jimin have done for me these past few days."
"It's no problem." Yoongi says handing him his food. "If I'm being honest, Jimin's done most of the work."
Taehyung chuckles softly. "It still means a lot."
The front door opens and Jimin comes in. "You aren't talking shit about me are you?"
"Of course we are." Yoongi says, his tone uninterested as he continues to eat his food.
"So, Tae, good news." Jimin says, smiling at his friends as he sits down between him and Yoongi. "The hotel agreed to turn the fountains off durning the ceremony like you asked, so the noise won't interfere."
"That's good, Jimin." Taehyung nods, looking down at his bowl as he pushes his food around.
Jimin pouts softly, trying to read the younger's expression. "Get lost, Yoonie. I have to talk to my friend."
Yoongi rolls his eyes as he stands, he always pretends to hate when Jimin mispronounces his name. "Stop calling me that."
"I love you." Jimin sings sweetly.
"I bet." The older says, disappearing into the back room.
Taehyung smiles at the two of them, they were a cute couple.
"Talk to me, Tae." Jimin says taking his food from the bag. "How're we feeling? Nervous, excited, happy, sad?"
"Of course I'm happy." The brunette sighs. "I'm happy."
"Are you sure?" The older asks tilting his head in concern, he knew Taehyung well enough to know that his expression said otherwise.
"Of course, Jimin. I'm just nervous, seriously." Taehyung responds, placing his bowl on the table. "It just that, Jungkook and I have been going through this weird stage in our relationship where we can hardly stand to be away from each other and I just...what happens when we both grow out of that?"
"Come on, Tae, don't do that to yourself." Jimin says. "You and Jungkook love each other like crazy, you wouldn't be getting married if you didn't. You'll always love each other."
"It happens to every couple though." The brunette says, a frown forming on his face.
"Yeah, but that's when your love for one another matters the most." The older says. "If you love each other enough you'll work through tough times. It'll be hard but you'll get through it. You will."
Taehyung forces a small smile, looking down at his hands. "You're right I guess."
"You just have cold feet, there's nothing wrong with that." Jimin says reassuringly. "Don't worry yourself before your big day."
"Alright." The brunette nods.
"Worry about the present. You're literally marrying Jungkook, in this huge ass, fancy ass hotel, surrounded by people that love you to death. You're literally the luckiest person in the fucking world." The older says rolling his eyes dramatically. "I actually hate you."
Taehyung laughs, shaking his head at his friend. "Alright, I get it."
"Good. Now eat your food. Jungkook might change his mind if your ass isn't fat in your tuxedo tomorrow." Jimin says as he continues to stuff his face.
"Shut up." The brunette says rolling his eyes as he grabs his bowl. "Yoongi, you can come back now!"
"Oh, I forgot about him." Jimin laughs as his boyfriend returns.
Yoongi joins them in the living room where they finish eating and discussing the wedding, they had multiple rehearsals already but none with Taehyung and Jungkook together.
It made Taehyung's hands sweat whenever he thought about anything going wrong but he knew that he was worrying about the wrong things.
He was marrying the love of his life, nothing could go wrong.

"You're going to be hungover at the wedding at this rate."
Jungkook laughs at Namjoon when he takes his glass along with Hoseok's.
"What kind of lightweight do you take me for?" Hoseok asks his boyfriend. "I'm just trying to loosen Jungkook up, he's so tense he could shit a diamond right now."
"Fuck you, Hobi." Jungkook laughs. "I'm just nervous, okay?"
"About what?" Namjoon asks. "We rehearsed it a million times. You walk out of your door when you hear your cue and Taehyung will walk out of his, then you'll meet under~"
"I know. I know." The younger sighs, leaning back on the couch. "It's just...do you think I'm good enough for him? Would you marry me?"
"Yeah, you're drunk." Hoseok deadpans, earning a laugh from Namjoon and a glare from Jungkook. "What? Alright, fine. Yeah, I'd marry you, Jungkook."
"Why?" Jungkook asks looking off into the distance. "I'm just me and Taehyung's~"
"~Fucking in love with you." Namjoon says. "You already know that, Kook. Why are you suddenly doubting yourself?"
"Because, nothing this good ever happens to me." The younger says reaching for his drink again.
"Ah, ah." Namjoon says, grabbing it before he can. "You're cut off. You're already in your feelings enough."
"I can't believe you're seriously doubting what you have with Taehyung." Hoseok says, playfully nudging his shoulder. "He loves you, and you love every part of him, that's all that matters. It's not too good to be true because it's happening. Just accept it and enjoy it."
"Wow, Hobi. That...that literally~"
"I know you're not crying, Jungkook."
Namjoon and Hoseok laugh as the younger shakes his head and wipes his tears away.
"I'm just really nervous and that made me feel better. Thank you, hyung." Jungkook chuckles.
"Don't thank me yet, I'm objecting at the wedding tomorrow." Hoseok says making them laugh again.
"No, but seriously, guys. Thank you for being here for us. It means everything to me and to Taehyung that you're here." Jungkook smiles at his friends.
"We wouldn't miss this for the world." Namjoon says, Hoseok nodding in agreement.
Jungkook nods, a sigh leaving his parted lips, tomorrow his life would change...forever."

"Vic!"
"I'm fucking working on it, leave me alone."
Jimin sighs anxiously as he checks his watch, walking away from the bathroom door. "This can't be happening."
"Calm down, Jimin~"
"How can I calm down right now, Yoongi? The wedding starts in twenty minutes. Twenty." Jimin stresses. "This is the worst timing ever."
The bathroom door opens and Jimin quickly turns towards it, his heart sinking when he sees Chaesal's topaz colored eyes.
"Chaesal, oh my god." The older groans. "This isn't happening."
"What the hell is going on?" The teenager asks, going to sit down before Jimin stops him.
"It's the day of the wedding and we need Taehyung to come out, now." He says pushing him towards the bathroom. "The wedding starts in seventeen minutes."
"You know I hate forcing switches, it fucking hurts." Chaesal complains as he's shoved into the bathroom.
"This is an emergency, Chaesal. You have to get him to come out. Like, right now." Jimin says. "Please?"
"Fine." The teen groans. "It'll only take a second, so chill out."
Jimin rolls his eyes after Chaesal shuts the door, turning to Yoongi. "Did you tell Hobi and Joon?"
"Yeah, they're have their own issues though." The older says checking the time on his phone.
"What's wrong?" Jimin asks.
"Jungkook's sick."
"What!?"
"Hey," Chaesal calls from the bathroom. "stop fucking yelling before you trigger Vic again, idiot."
Jimin groans in frustration. "I'll be right back."
"Jimin~"
"When Taehyung fronts tell him he needs to get his shit together quick, he's getting married in fifteen minutes." Jimin says as he leaves, walking across the hall to Jungkook's room and walking in.
"Jimin~" Hoseok starts when he sees him.
"What's wrong with Jungkook?" He asks immediately. "He's sick?"
"He's just a little hungover." Hoseok says nonchalantly.
"What!?" Jimin exclaims.
"I'm not fucking hungover, Hoseok." Jungkook says appearing from the small bathroom with a toothbrush in his mouth.
"Careful of your tux, Kooks." Namjoon says exiting after him.
"I'm ready. Just give me a second." The youngest of the three says as he sits down to put his shoes on, while still brushing his teeth.
"Taehyung still hasn't fronted." Jimin says, causing everyone to look at him in alarm.
"Huh?" Jungkook hums, his eyebrows drawn together, toothbrush still hanging from his mouth.
"Chaesal's trying to get him out right now." The older says. "I'm sure he'll front any minute."
Jungkook mumbles something along the lines of "oh my god" as he stands and walks back to the bathroom.
"What's going on with him?" Jimin asks Namjoon.
"No idea. He just started puking out of nowhere this morning." The older answers before following Jungkook to the bathroom to be sure he was alright.
"He's just nervous." Hoseok says. "You need to go get Taehyung out, Jungkook's fine. And we literally have ten minutes left so tell Yoongi to get his ass over here."
"Okay. Send Namjoon when he's done with Jungkook." Jimin says checking his watch again before leaving.
The set up for the wedding was close to perfect, Jungkook and Taehyung had the idea of entering from separate rooms and meeting at the beginning of the isle so they could walk down together.
They left most of the decorations to the design crew that Taehyung's father hired, neither of them were gifted in that area so they honestly needed all the help they could get when it came to actually designing the wedding.
They had very few guests, about ten people from Jungkook's side of the family that his mother invited and maybe four or five from Taehyung's, the rest of the guests included work colleagues from both their jobs that they got close to over the years. There were thirty people in total and that was perfect for the two of them.
For so much to be so damn perfect everything seemed to be trying to fall apart in the last twenty minutes.
When Jimin walks into the room he heaves a dramatic sigh of relief when he sees Taehyung pulling his shoes on.
"Thank fucking god you're here." He huffs.
Taehyung chuckles softly at him. "I wouldn't skip my own wedding, Jimin."
"How are you not freaking out? It starts in five minutes." Jimin asks as he steps forward to adjust his friends hair.
"I've been ready longer than five minutes, Jimin. I'm fine." Taehyung says standing and stepping in front of the full length mirror, adjusting his tuxedo.
The final call for them to get lined up sounds over the intercom, telling them that they needed to get in place.
"Here I am." Namjoon says walking into the room with a smile. "You look great, Taehyung."
"Thank you, Namjoon. So do you." Taehyung smiles back. "I'm sorry if I worried you this morning."
"No~"
"There's no time for apologies, let's get ready to walk out. Come on, Namjoon, you and Hobi are first." Jimin says pushing them towards the exiting door.
The music starts as cue for the first two couples to walk out ahead of the grooms.
Taehyung's hands immediately start sweating, his heart hammering against his chest as he takes a few deep breaths.
"You okay?" Jimin asks after Namjoon walks out.
"I'm okay." The brunette nods, smiling gratefully at his friend. "Thank you for everything, Jimin."
"Don't thank me. You deserve it." The older says before hearing his cue to walk out. "Oh, that's my cue. See you out there."
"See you out there." Taehyung chuckles.
Taehyung closes his eyes as he listens for his cue in the music, wiping his hands on his pants when he feels it approaching.
When the cue sounds he steps out into the hall at the same time Jungkook does, a smile instantly forming when he sees him.
"Wow," He chuckles, trying to blink away his tears.
"You look perfect, Tae." Jungkook says looking over the brunette.
"So do you." Taehyung says, looking up at him. "Let's go get married."
"Yeah. Let's do it." The younger says holding his arm out to Taehyung, who takes it with teary eyes and a smile.
When they walk out a series of aw's leave the crowd, cameras flashing as the photographers took photos.
It's the first time either of the two have seen the set up and they are both awestruck, their emotions are high and Jungkook finds himself almost tearing up as they walk down the isle.
Their friends and family smile at them happily as they walk past, some shedding tears of their own.
Taehyung looks at Jungkook and smiles softly when he sees his glossed over eyes, giving his arm a comforting squeeze as they reach the end of the isle.
"You okay?" Taehyung asks quietly as they stand facing each other.
"I'm okay." Jungkook answers with a smile as the minister begins.
"Taehyung and Jungkook have gathered us here together for an occasion of great joy and a cause for celebration, to publicly define their love." The minister starts. "And to promise to nurture themselves, each other, and this union. They do so knowing that marriage is once the most tender, and yet sometimes, the most challenging of all relationships in life. So we are gathered here, as family and friends, to witness and celebrate the coming together of Taehyung and Jungkook, as they enter into a sacred and joyous marriage." The minister says. "And now for the vows."
The couple take the cards with their vows typed onto them, nervously glancing over them.
"Kim Taehyung." The minister says.
Taehyung smiles softly at Jungkook before he starts, looking down at the words he spent months writing. "Jungkook, I promise to love you for life and to cherish the time we spend together. I vow to catch before you fall and to pick you up if I'm ever too late. I vow to always listen to you and to listen to all of your concerns with love and compassion. I vow to be with you through sickness and health, through pain and pleasure, and through happiness and sadness." Taehyung reads, blinking as tears form in his eyes. "A-As a child, I never imagined my wedding day, I never imagined who I'd marry or what they'd be like. It wasn't until I met you, Jungkook, that I had this overwhelming sense of comfort and assurance, and from that moment I knew you'd be the one standing across from me today." The brunette says, his voice cracking with emotion. "As I stand here, across from a man that is more than anything I could've dreamt of, I feel that same comfort and assurance along with complete and total certainty, that I will love and cherish you forever."
The audience clap as he finishes, Taehyung chuckles when he sees Jungkook's teary eyes.
"Jeon Jungkook."
"It's gonna be hard to top that. " Jungkook jokes as he looks down at his vows, earning a laugh from the crowd. "I'm gonna try though."
"Try." Taehyung chuckles softly.
"Okay." The younger says looking up at Taehyung with a small smile. "Taehyung, I remember the day I met you and I can tell you that this is the last place I thought we'd end up." The audience laughs again, Taehyung chuckling softly. "When I met you I thought we were such different people, but the more time I spent with you the more I fell in love with you. Every part of you. Through the ups and downs of our time together I never once stopped loving you. I never once thought about what life would be like without you because I knew I'd spend my life with you. I tried to avoid cliches and I failed, so bare with me." Jungkook chuckles along with the crowd as he prepares to list all the cliches he wrote. "When I met you, Taehyung, I was lost and every second I spent by your side I found myself more and more, I found myself in you. I vow to love you through whatever life throws our way, through the hardest times and through the best times I vow to stay by your side. Whenever you find yourself lost in the dark I'll be your light, whenever you feel you have no place go I'll be your safe haven, because I love you and I promise to commit the rest of life to proving my everlasting love for you, Kim Taehyung."
Taehyung wipes his tears but more fall in their place, his heart swelling in his chest as the audience applauds.
"How was that?" Jungkook asks, making the crowd laugh yet again.
"That was perfect." Taehyung laughs as they place the card back on the small table.
"And now for the ring exchange." The minister announces, grabbing the rings and handing them to the couple. "Starting with Jungkook, you'll repeat after me. May this ring,"
"May this ring," Jungkook smiles softly as he takes Taehyung's hand.
"Forever be to you, the symbol of my growing love. "
"Forever be to you, the symbol of my growing love."
"I will respect, honor and cherish you in all times, in all places, and in all ways, for as long as we both shall live."
"I will respect, honor, and cherish you in all times, in all places, and in all ways, as long as we both shall live." Jungkook finishes, slipping the ring onto Taehyung's finger.
As Taehyung repeats the same process the world seems to disappear around him, in that moment, despite being surrounded by his family and friends, all he sees is Jungkook.
When he slips the ring onto his finger this day feels more real than it has since he woke up, he feels more present than he has in days and it's all because of Jungkook and the love that burns deeply inside for him.
When the minister announces their marriage they share a kiss, the muffled sound of the audience fading into nothing, the two of them are lost in their own world and they would stay there forever if they could.
The music starts to play again and they break the kiss, looking into each other's eyes, they'd cherish this day forever.
"I love you." Taehyung says, blinking his tears away as he hugs his husband.
"I love you too." Jungkook chuckles, pressing a kiss to the brunette's temple.
The couple is escorted to their car where they will be driven to the airport, it was Jimin's idea, and even though they both hated not being able to thank their guest for coming, the older promised to thank the guest for them.
Their friends organized their honeymoon from start to finish as their wedding gift to them, Jungkook thought it was sweet but the unknown always worried Taehyung.
They wave at their guests from a distance, smiling thankfully as they are ushered into the car.
"Your friend left your carryons in the seat." The driver says as he closes the door of the expensive limousine.
"Thank you." Taehyung smiles before he shuts it, sighing softly as his mind still spinning with adrenaline.
"What's wrong?" Jungkook smiles at him, taking his hand in his.
"We're married." The brunette squeals, leaning into Jungkook's side as he laughs. "Everyone's been on high alert all day because I've been stressed and now the wedding is over it's all hitting me."
"I was stressed too. When they told me you weren't fronting yet I almost threw up again." The younger chuckles, taking a moment to release the tense breath he'd been holding all day. "This is the happiest day of my life, Taehyung. I never thought I could be this happy."
"I know. Me either." Taehyung says looking up at him. "I thought I was happy when we got engaged but this definitely tops that day."
Jungkook chuckles, kissing his husband fully on the lips briefly before pulling away with a sudden thought. "Should we look in the carryons and see if we guess where we're going."
"Let's do it." The brunette says, laughing a little while Jungkook grabs the two bags.
"This one must be yours." The younger says handing Taehyung one of the carryons.
Taehyung hums as he watches Jungkook unzip the bag, pulling out a change of clothes from on top.
"He must want us to change in the car." Jungkook says handing Taehyung the outfit before looking at the other items in the bag.
"Long sleeves and long pants." Taehyung states as he looks at the outfit.
"I found gloves." Jungkook says holding them up. "They're definitely sending us some cold."
"Why are you going through mine? Go through your own." The brunette says taking his carryon, the smile on his face never leaving as he looks at the things in his carryon. "Wow, they really thought this out. We have such wonderful friends~"
"Why'd they have to dress me in the ugliest shit ever, though?" The younger says holding up a dark green shirt with long sleeves. "I'm gonna look like fucking shrek in this."
Taehyung laughs, pouting softly at him. "It's cute. I love when you where green, Jungkook, I really do."
"Fine." Jungkook pouts as he looks at the shirt.
"We can switch." Taehyung offers. "I don't mind green."
"I'll wear it." The younger says. "It's better than walking through the airport in a white tuxedo, I guess."
Taehyung chuckles, leaning over and kissing his cheek. "You're cute."
"You're cute." Jungkook says back, turning his head and kissing his lips.
"We'll be arriving at the airport in fifteen, Mr. Jeon."
"Thank you." Taehyung says to the driver.
"I think he was talking to me." Jungkook says narrowing his eyes.
"No, he was talking to." The brunette says as he starts to undress to change into the outfit Jimin must've picked.
"He was definitely talking to me." The younger continues to argue.
"Okay, dork." Taehyung says, laughing at Jungkook's reaction, his mouth falls open dramatically.
"I thought you'd stop calling me a dork when I married you, but I was wrong I see." He says shaking his head. "I guess I'll always be a dork to you."
"You're my dork now. There's a difference." The brunette grins. "It's charming."
"About as charming as me in this green shirt." Jungkook scoffs before starting to change as well.
"This was easier in my head." Taehyung complains as he removes his tux.
"Yeah." The younger agrees as he does the same. "This is the last time I change out of a thirteen piece tuxedo in the back of a limousine."
They both laugh as they continue undressing, trying their best not to mess up their tuxedos as they do so.
When they get changed into their clothes, with great difficulty, they are just arriving at the air port.
"Are you nervous, baby?" Jungkook asks as the driver gets their luggage from the trunk of the limousine.
"I've been nervous all day, I'm excited though." Taehyung says as he hugs Jungkook's arm. "I don't think Vic's going to front this time."
"You'll be okay. I won't let anything bad happen." The younger says. "I promise."
"You can't promise that the plane won't fall out the sky." The brunette says grabbing the suitcases that appeared to be his.
"Don't say that. Jesus, you're so negative." Jungkook chuckles as he grabs his own. "We're going on our honeymoon, where's the positivity?"
"I was just saying. I'm excited. I can't wait. Let's go." Taehyung says adjusting his carryon on his shoulder as the driver hands them their tickets and passports.
"Safe travels." He says, bowing to them.
The two of them bow be before looking at the tickets.
"Finland." Taehyung smiles up at Jungkook. "It is a winter honeymoon."
"That's okay, right?" Jungkook asks, wanting to make sure despite Taehyung's ecstatic reaction.
"I told Jimin I wanted a winter honeymoon when we first got engaged. I can't believe he remembered." The brunette says looking at the ticket again before looking at Jungkook. "Is it okay with you? I know it's not what you wanted~"
"Whatever makes you happy makes me happy." The younger says. "As long as we're together I don't care where we go."
Taehyung pouts adoringly at him. "I love you."
"I love you too. Let's go catch this flight." Jungkook says grabbing his luggage before leading the way.
Today wasn't perfect, a lot went wrong before the wedding but they were positive that the rest of the day would be magical and tomorrow would be even more magical.
Tomorrow would be the first day of the rest of their lives together as a married couple.
For so long Taehyung didn't know what it was like to be happy, for so many years he thought all he had in life were his struggles, depression, and his disorder.
If you would have told the Taehyung from five years ago that he'd be marrying someone who loved him, every single part of him, he'd think you were crazy. Because of his childhood and his disorder he always thought he was incapable of being loved, but Jungkook showed him that he was capable of loving and being loved. And that he was worthy of his love.
Jungkook came into his life and completed him.
Jungkook loved Taehyung, so much that he didn't know what to do with all the love in his heart for him.
They were both madly in love with each other and they were excited to see where this life would take them.
All of them.
