"Hey, Kook, help me in the kitchen?"

"Sure, hyung."

Jungkook stands from his seat out on the patio, leaving Jimin, Hoseok, and Jongun.

Namjoon leads the way to the kitchen, carrying Jimin and Jongun's glasses.

"I heard you and Taehyung were a thing." The older says opening the freezer to get ice.

"Yeah." Jungkook chuckles, his face flushing slightly.

"That's great. You guys are cute." Namjoon chuckles. "Is he still your co-op?"

"Not really." The younger shrugs. "It's not really about my degree anymore. I switched majors."

"That's right. Psychology?"

"Yeah."

Namjoon nods. "That's good. He seems like a good guy."

"Yeah, he is." Jungkook smiles. "I love him a lot."

"I really am happy for you, Kook. Life hits different when you have someone you love to spend it with." Namjoon says as he refills the glasses in front of him. "I can tell you love him."

Jungkook smiles shyly, his face flushing yet again as he thinks about Taehyung.

"Alrighty." The older says grabbing the glasses. "Let's go."

When they get outside Jungkook immediately notices Taehyung's soft brown eyes, he looks at Jimin but he's preoccupied laughing at something Hoseok said.

"Here you go, Taehyung." Namjoon says handing him the glass of alcohol.

"Oh, thank you." The brunette say taking the glass.

Jungkook sits beside him and puts his arm around him, meeting his eyes with an expression that asked if he was alright.

Taehyung nods with a reassuring smile, leaning into his side.

"So, Taehyung. Are you not at the club anymore? I haven't seen you around for a while." Hoseok says sipping his drink.

"No, I'm not actually." Taehyung says, pushing his hair out of his eyes.

Jimin notices Taehyung for the first time and he strikes up a different conversation to give the brunette a moment to gather himself.

"Are you okay?" Jungkook asks lowly so that he can only be heard by Taehyung.

"Yeah. Jongun must've been out before me, huh?" The brunette asks.

"Yeah. Chaesal was out before him." The younger says.

"That explains a lot then." Taehyung chuckles.

Jungkook smiles at him, pouting slightly. "I wanna kiss you."

"No." The brunette chuckles, shaking his head teasingly.

"They're too cute. Aren't they cute, Jimin?" Hoseok says, making Taehyung and Jungkook both flush.

"Yeah, they're cute." Jimin smiles. "Annoyingly cute."

They all laugh at Jimin before Jungkook changes the subject, directing the attention away from them.

"So, Jimin, when does your new roommate move in?" He asks.

"He comes next week. He's from Daegu." The older says.

"Yoongi, right?" Namjoon asks.

"Yeah." Jimin nods.

"Well, when he gets here maybe we can all get together again and have drinks." Namjoon offers, looking at Hoseok who nods in agreement.

"Sounds good to me." Jungkook says, taking Taehyungs drink from his hand and sitting it on the ground beside him. Taehyung smiles at him as he intertwines their fingers.

They spend a few more hours with Hoseok and Namjoon, Taehyung having a few sips of wine here and there --enough to make his cheeks flush-- before the sun starts to set and they bring the hangout to an end.

"We'll do it again sometime." Namjoon says as he hugs Jungkook and Jimin.

"Definitely." Hoseok agrees, doing the same.

"It was nice meeting you, Taehyung." Namjoon says pulling Taehyung into a hug as well.

"You too." The brunette chuckles as he hugs him back, hugging Hoseok briefly as well.

"Bye, guys."

Jungkook puts his arm around Taehyung as they walk down the stairs with Jimin.

"Since when do you drink, Tae?" Jimin asks looking at his friend.

"Everyone was drinking casually. I'm not drunk or anything." The brunette chuckles.

Jungkook and Jimin laugh at him as they reach the bottom of the stairs.

"Well, I'll see you guys next time." Jimin says hugging Taehyung briefly. "Later, perv."

"Alright, midget." Jungkook says wrapping his arm back around Taehyung and leading him to the car.

"What's that about?" Taehyung laughs.

"Chaesal thinks I'm a pervert." The younger says opening the door for Taehyung.

"Why?" The brunette asks before he climbs in the car.

"I think he thought I wanted to watch him get dressed."Jungkook explains.

"Okay,,,?" Taehyung says in confusion as he climbs inside the car.

Jungkook closes the door before rounding the car and getting in. "You okay?"

"Yeah. I just feel a little dizzy because of the wine." The brunette says, leaning his head against the window. "I'm fine though."

"Okay." Jungkook says starting the car before pulling out of the parking lot. "You can just relax when we get home then."

"Will you take care of me?" Taehyung asks with a playful smirk.

"You know I will." The younger chuckles, focusing on driving as he enters the main road.

Jungkook glances over at Taehyung every now and then as he drives, smiling fondly when he sees the brunette asleep.

Namjoon was right, life is different when you have a companion.

Jungkook used to think that he'd never fall in love, that he'd never know what it was like to cherish someone like he cherished Taehyung.

But he was living it, he was feeling all the things that came with being in love and he could honestly say he was in love with that.

He was in love with being in love.

    "Look, hyungie."

    "I see."

Chaehyeon giggles shyly as he shows off what he'd made with his LEGOs.

    "You did so good, Hyeonie." Jungkook smiles taking the object, it didn't really look like anything but he praised it anyway.

    "C-Can Hyeonie t-touch bunny?" The little asks pointing at the stuffed bunny on the shelf.

    "Of course. You can play with whatever you." The older nods. "Are you finish with your LEGOs?"

    "Mhm." Chaehyeon hums, standing and getting the bunny.

Chaehyeon fronted after Taehyung fell asleep in the car and Jungkook told him how excited he was to show him his play room.

The little tried to hide his smile behind the stuffed bear Jungkook gave him but he still saw it anyways.

Jungkook cleaned him up, changed him into the pajamas he gave him and Chaehyoen had been playing in the room for almost an hour now.

    "Hyungie?" The little says getting Jungkook attention before pointing at another stuffed animal. "Touch?"

    "Yeah, go ahead." The older nods, chuckling as he grabs it and hugs it to his chest with the bunny.

    "Hyungie a-and Taehyungie." Chaehyeon says holding the stuffed tiger and the stuffed bunny.

Jungkook laughs as Chaehyeon hands him the bunny. "Hey, why do you get the tiger?"

    "You want?" The little asks holding the tiger out.

    "Aw, no. You can have it." The older says. "So, Heyonie, do you like the room?"

    "Mhm." Chaehyeon smiles, hugging the tiger. "D-Did hyungie do this f-for me?"

    "Yeah. Hajoon and Taehyung helped too." Jungkook says.

    "Thank y-you." The little says. "Love it."

    "I'm glad." He older smiles, checking the time on his phone. "It's getting late, Hyeonie. I should put you to bed."

    "Mmm." Chaehyeon hums in disapproval, pouting sadly.

    "It's almost 10:30." Jungkook says standing. "Come on, let's clean up."

    "No, hyungieeee." The little whines, sticking his bottom lip out.

Jungkook wants to give in to Chaehyeon's sad eyes but he knows if he does once he'll expect him to fold every time he pouts.

    "Okay, how about this." He says kneeling down in front of him. "How about if you help me clean up now I'll let you play an extra next time."

Chaehyeon still pouts but he nods, wiping his alligator tears with the back of his hand.

    "Come on. You can pick a toy to sleep with when we're finished." Jungkook says standing and helping Chaehyeon up.

It doesn't take more than five minutes to tidy the room and pick Chaehyeon's toy, Jungkook takes him to the main bedroom to put him to sleep.

    "You okay?" Jungkook asks as he tucks him in.

Chaehyeon nods with tired eyes, blinking slowly as he sucks his thumb.

    "Okay. I'll stay with you, okay?" The older asks, Chaehyeon nods, closing his eyes.

Jungkook sighs, sitting up against the headboard and stroking Chaehyeon's hair as he fell asleep.
