Jungkook gets shaken awake a few hours later when the sun has gone down.
He jumps up in alarm, his eyes meeting Minseok's. "Minseok? What time is it?"
Minseok holds his phone up. 10:12.
"Oh my gosh." Jungkook says sitting up all the way. "I can't believe I fell asleep."
Minseok shows Jungkook his phone screen again. I'm leaving now.
"Okay. I'll take you." The younger says pulling his shoes back on. "Are you okay?"
Minseok nods, offering a small smile before he walks to the door.
Jungkook follows him out of the house, checking his phone as they climb inside the car.
He has a couple texts from Hoseok and a missed call from his father.
He frowns at the thought of calling his father back, he hated talking to him.
"So, Minseok," Jungkook starts as he drives to the club. "Jimin came earlier and he asked about you."
A smile forms on Minseok's face at the mention of Jimin.
"Maybe you should text him or something while you're fronting." The younger says looking over at him.
Minseok nods, unlocking his phone and searching for Jimin's number immediately.
When they get to the club they separate like they did before, Jungkook going to see if Hoseok and Namjoon showed up tonight.
He finds Namjoon at the bar talking to a couple guys, smiling flirtatiously as he fixes their drinks.
Jungkook approaches after the two men walk away. "Hey, hyung."
"Jungkook, hey." The older smiles, leaning forward on the bar. "Are you drinking tonight?"
"No, I'm driving." The younger says. "Did Hobi come tonight?"
Namjoon's smile falters a bit. "No. He's, um, we're not really talking actually."
"Aw, what happened?" Jungkook asks.
"His new roommate happened." The older says rolling his eyes a little. "Maybe I'm just fucking crazy, but they're too close. Way too fucking close. And they've only been living together for a couple weeks."
"Have you tried talking to him?" The younger asks sitting down at the bar.
"Yeah. He won't even talk to me." Namjoon sighs. "He's always accusing me of cheating on him but maybe I'm the one that should be worrying."
"I'm sorry you guys aren't talking." Jungkook says. "I really don't think you have anything to worry about. Hoseok loves you."
"I love him too." The older says. "But maybe we're just better apart. Y'know?"
"I understand. Whatever you guys think is best." The younger nods.
"Anyways, enough about that." Namjoon says waving his hand. "How have you been? Did you come to see Grey?"
"I've been good. And I did actually." Jungkook nods.
"Do you guys hang out regularly outside of here?" Namjoon asks.
"Um, yeah." The younger nods, he's tempted to lie but he doesn't see a problem with telling Namjoon.
"That's cool. You guys look great together." The older smiles. "You're a lucky guy."
"Oh, no. It's nothing like that. We're just friends. "Jungkook says quickly.
"Really?" Namjoon asks tilting his head.
"Yeah. Just friends." The younger nods.
"Hm. I guess that make sense." The older shrugs.
"Yeah. Why wouldn't it make sense?"
"I mean, it's kinda odd that you come regularly to watch your friend strip for a bunch of strangers. But I guess if my friend was that sexy I would to."
Jungkook's face flushes. "It's not like that. I don't come just to watch him dance. We hang out afterwards."
"And what do you do when you hang out?" Namjoon asks, his tone teasing.
"I don't know. We talk and stuff."
"And stuff?"
"Oh my god, Namjoon. I'm not screwing him." Jungkook says. "We're friends, seriously."
"Alright, alright." Namjoon says pushing himself up from the counter. "Let me get you a coke or something."
"Alright. Nothing alcoholic please." The younger says.
"Got it." The older winks before going to make the drink.
The lights dim and the music starts to play, grabbing nearly everyone in the room's attention.
Jungkook doesn't pay much attention to the performance as Namjoon returns with his coke, purposely keeping his gaze directed away from the stage.
The performance ends and the lights come back up.
Jungkook finishes his coke before getting Namjoon's attention again.
"Hey, I'm gonna go now." He says. "Thanks for the coke."
"Yeah. Anytime, anytime." The older smiles. "Maybe we could hang out sometime. You know, outside of here."
"Yeah. Sure. That'd be great." Jungkook smiles, he didn't really have any friends so he never really went anywhere, if Hoseok hadn't dragged him out places he would've never gone out.
"Here, let me give you my number." The older says pulling out his phone.
"Yeah." The younger says, pulling out his phone and exchanging numbers with Namjoon. "Text me whenever and we can hang out."
"Cool. See you around, Kook."
"Yeah. You too."
Jungkook smiles at Namjoon once more before hopping off the barstool and heading to the back to wait for Minseok.
He was glad that Minseok only had to do one dance a night, that way they were able to leave straight after.
"Jeon Jungkook. You look better every time I see you, baby."
"Jongun."
The alter laughs as he meets Jungkook at the end of the long hallway.
"You always say my name like I surprise you." He says adjusting his carryall bag on his shoulder. "How are you tonight?"
"I'm fine." Jungkook says. "You haven't fronted in days."
"Really? And you noticed because you missed me, right?" Jongun smirks, stepping closer to Jungkook.
"Yeah, that's definitely why." The younger says facetiously, stepping away.
"Right. Well, let's get out of here." The older says taking Jungkook's hand. "I want to drink with you, but I know how you feel about drinking in public, so let's go drink at home."
"Most people only drink on special occasions." The younger says letting Jongun lead him out. "The car's over here."
"It is a special occasion, I haven't seen you in, what, three or four days?" The older asks leading them to the car.
"It's been over a week." Jungkook says.
"Over a~ Jesus fucking hell. Alright, we're definitely drinking tonight. Keys?" Jongun says holding his hand out.
"Why can't I drive?" Jungkook questions as he hands over his keys.
"Because it feels like I should be driving." The older says opening Jungkook's door for him.
"Okay?" The younger says as he gets inside.
Jongun blasts an upbeat song on the way home, drumming along to it on the steering wheel.
His energy tonight is enough to bring a smile to Jungkook's face as he bops his head along with the music.
"Stay." Jongun says when they get to the house, climbing out of the car and rushing over to Jungkook's side, opening the door for him.
"Seriously?" Jungkook chuckles as he gets out the car.
"Ooh, check us out, right?" The older says closing the door and wrapping Jungkook's arm around his. "We're so cute, aren't we?"
"You're ridiculous." The younger laughs.
When they get inside Jongun immediately finds the alcohol cabinet, enthusiastically expressing his excitement when he sees their options.
"Don't over do it, Jongun. You may not have to deal with the hangover but someone does." Jungkook reminds him as he picks his choice of liquor.
"I haven't been out in a week. The body is literally so tense right now it's painful." Jongun says. "If somebody doesn't wake up with a hangover, I haven't done my job."
"Jongun..." The younger drawls as the brunette drags him to the living room area.
"Sit." He says pushing Jungkook down on the couch. "I'll be right back, okay?"
"Where are you~"
"I'll be right back." Jongun says again as he rushes upstairs. "Don't start without me."
"Oh, don't worry." Jungkook says lowly as he looks at the bottle of liquor Jongun chose.
This was going to be a long night.
