~Jungkook POV. ~

I sigh checking the time again.

It was Seokjin's first day treating his new patient, his name is Kim Taehyung.

I've gone through all his files at least three times, I've memorized all the alters and their names along with personality traits to help tell them apart.

That's mostly what Seokjin has me here for, he does all the psychotherapist stuff and I just watch.

"I don't know why you're stressing out, Jungkook." Seokjin says looking through Kim Taehyung's files for the first time.

"The paperwork said he had a violent personality. What if it shows up?" I ask.

"Don't refer to the personalities as it, Jungkook." He says. "And if that alter is considered violent they are most likely only violent with other alters in the system."

"Dr. Kim?"

Seokjin sits up and presses the intercom button on his phone. "Yes."

"Mr. Kim is here to s-see you."

I look at him with a raised eyebrow and he shrugs.

"Send him in then." He says letting go of the button.

I stand up from the seat in front of Jin's desk and go to stand beside him.

We both remain silent until the door opens a few minutes later.

The picture of Kim Taehyung on his medical records look nothing like the character that enters the room.

I suppose the look on Seokjin's face matches mine when I look over at him.

Seokjin stands up clearing his throat as the black clad figure closes the door with a deadly look. "K-Kim Taehyung?"

He doesn't say anything as he walks closer, watching Seokjin like a hawk as his heavy combat boots hit the ground in dull thuds.

"And what does he call you?"

His voice his deep and it sends chills down my spine.

"I'm Dr. Kim Seokjin." Seokjin says regaining his composure. "Please, have a seat."

His dark gaze flickers to me and his jet black eyes seem threatening, I don't trust him.

"Is this your guard dog, Seokjin?" He asks, his voice so low it practically rumbles in his chest.

"Oh, this is Jeon Jungkook. He will be assisting me in your treatment." Seokjin says ignoring the way he calls him by his first name.

"So many doctors, he really is trying to get rid of us isn't he?"

The smirk on his face make his face even more threatening.

"May I ask your name?" Seokjin asks still acting all nice and calm even though I can tell the informality is killing him.

"Call me V. It's simple. A lot simpler than Taehyung, isn't it?" He asks rounding the chair in front of Jin's desk and sitting down.

Seokjin clears his throat and takes his seat as well. "Okay um, V. Is it okay if I start by asking you a few questions?"

V's eyes shift to me. "You're young. Are you sure you're a doctor?"

"He's still in school." Seokjin says.

"Does he not have a voice?" V snaps his fingers.

"Just listen to what he has to say." I say getting annoyed with him.

"So he does speak, but he's also out of his fucking mind." He chuckles with a small almost not there smile.

"Why do they call you V?" Seokjin asks.

"I'm not here to answer questions." He says looking back at him. "I'm here to tell you something."

"Go on then." He says smiling softly.

"I'll put this as nicely as possible." V says, any trace of his smile gone. "Stay out of my way. Taehyung doesn't need you, he just thinks he does because just like the two of you, he's simple. Don't be fooled by my calmness today. Bother us again and I promise to make your life a living hell. We don't need a goddamn psychiatrist. As long as I am alive and well we'll be just fine. That being said, I'll continue to pay for the rest of the month but after today we won't see each other."

He stands and Seokjin looks at me speechlessly.

"It was nice meeting you and your dog, Seokjin. But I'm leaving now, and unless the simpleton comes crawling back, we won't be seeing each other again. And if the little one comes asking if I've stopped by do me a favor and tell him I have." He says turning and sending one last chilling glare our way before leaving.

We both stay silent for a few moments even after he's gone.

"What do you know about him, Jungkook?" Seokjin asks still looking at the door.

"Um, according to Taehyung's last psychiatrist, V is a dangerous alter. He's suffered the most out of all of the alters and he is adamant about staying in control of the body." I say thinking back to the files. "He's hard to handle unless you get close to him. And Taehyung rather us refer to him as a persecutor protector."

"Has anyone ever got close to him?" Seokjin asks.

"I don't think so. She didn't say anything about that." I say, who would want to get close to someone like V? He was the type of person who was meant to be alone.

"Get me the date for his next appointment." He says, still deep in thought.

I nod making mental note to send the information off tonight. "I will."

"Dr. Kim, Mr. Park is here to see you."

I look at Seokjin, who has the same confused expression as I do, and shrug.

"Show him in." He says before standing from his desk. "Who do I know by the name of Park?"

"A lot of people." I say before falling silent as the door opens.

In walks a rather short brown haired man with a small smile on his face.

"Hello, you're Dr. Kim Seokjin correct?" He asks as enters and shuts the door behind him.

"I am, and you are?" Seokjin asks approaching the stranger.

"I'm Park Jimin, it's nice to meet you." He holds out his hand to Seokjin who shakes it returning the smile.

"The pleasure is all mine, how can I help you, Mr. Park?" He asks.

"Jimin is fine, I'm Kim Taehyung's friend. You guys might have met V, or Hajoon." He explains. "I'm kind of like his caretaker, even though he doesn't want to admit it."

Seokjin nods slowly. "So, you're the little one?"

Jimin's smile falters for a moment. "I guess so, yes. And you're a psychotherapist, if I'm correct?"

Seokjin chuckles. "Yes. Please, have a seat, Jimin."

"Thank you." He says taking a seat at the chair and noticing me for the first time. "I'm sorry I didn't introduce myself to you, I'm Jimin."

"Nice to meet you, I'm Jungkook." I nod returning his small smile.

"Now, Jimin, what is it that you wanted to talk about?" Seokjin asks sitting behind his desk.

"Oh um, I have known Taehyung since we were both very young." He says. "I just wanted to ask you to give him a chance. Please don't give up on him so quick, what he's been through has really scarred him, obviously, but with your help I have faith that he will get better."

Seokjin nods. "I won't give up him, I promise you that. But as a therapist is there anything you can tell me to make my job a little easier?"

Jimin sighs thinking about the question. "Taehyung himself doesn't hold much of the system's trauma so asking him about the past will only trigger a switch. If things get too bad, and you really need to reach him...only if you need to reach Taehyung, call him sunshine. And he'll take over again. But only if you actually need him."

"Sunshine?" Seokjin asks. "What does that mean."

I scribble the note down on the notebook I am holding so I won't forget in case Seokjin needs it.

"Don't use it unless necessary." Jimin says instead of answering. "Also, there is one personality that is a small child called Chaehyeon. He calls himself Hyeonie, but he doesn't come out often."

I nod scribbling down the name as well.

"That's really all I can think of at the moment, and you can always tell when a knew alter is forming when there are long moments of dissociation between the switches. I don't know if there's anything you can do to stop them from forming but, I just want you to know." He says standing, ending the short meeting.

"Thank you so much, Jimin, you have helped me so much already. And I will do everything in my power to help your friend." Seokjin says standing as well.

"Thank you, I wish you the best and you can always contact me if anything happens." Jimin says showing himself to the door.

"Thanks again." Seokjin says as he leaves and shuts the door behind him.

"Sunshine?" I ask after a few moments.

Seokjin shrugs. "Maybe it's associated with something good in the past?"

I shrug. "I have a paper to start writing, do you need me to do anything else before I go?"

"No you're good, don't forget to send that appointment information." He reminds.

"I won't. I'll see you tomorrow." I say as I grab my jacket and head out.

As expected, I procrastinated up until the last minute to write my paper for chemistry class so it looks like I'll be pulling an all-nighter and getting to work early in the morning.

Gotta love being a college student.
