—POV.—
Jungkook loads the last of his things into the backseat of his car with the help of Hoseok, the older pouting as he closes the trunk.
"Don't give me that look, Hobi." The younger says to him.
"I can't believe your parents are making you come home. That's so unfair to you." Hoseok says crossing his arms. "Online college isn't as fun as the real thing."
"I know, it really sucks."
Jungkook hated lying to Hoseok, he has become his one and only friend on campus and he didn't want to leave.
"You can still text me and call me. And come see me and Joon at the club sometime." Hoseok says. "Don't be a stranger, okay?"
"Of course not." Jungkook promises as he steps up on the curb and hugs the older. "Thank you for taking care of me, hyung."
Hoseok laughs as he hugs him back. "I had fun, Kook. I'll see you around."
"Alright." The younger says pulling away. "Don't be a stranger, hyung."
"Get out of here. I have a spare room to redecorate." The older says pushing him away.
"I'm two feet out the door and you're already redecorating my room?" Jungkook chuckles as he walks around his car.
"Yes. I'm thinking of making it into a sex dungeon for me and Namjoon. What do you think?" Hoseok asks tilting his head.
"I think I could've gone a million life times without hearing that sentence." The younger says opening the driver door. "Later, hyung."
Hoseok laughs as the younger climbs into the car, waving as he drives away.
Jungkook sighs as he watches Hoseok from the rear view mirror, he was really going to miss living with the older.
He'd only lived there a few months and he was comfortable there but he had things he needed to take of.
He committed himself to working as Taehyung's full time caregiver and he was ready for the challenges he'd face, or at least he's been telling himself he was ready.
He dials Seokjin's number after putting Taehyung's address into the gps.
"Jungkook, hey, did you make it there yet?" The older answers.
"I'm on the way there now. I moved all my stuff out of my place." The younger says. "He knows I'm coming and everything?"
"Of course. I talked to him this morning and he said that Jimin will meet you there if he doesn't." Seokjin says. "How do you feel. Are you nervous?"
"Am I? I don't know what to expect." Jungkook sighs. "I just hope I can handle it."
"You can handle it. Just make sure you keep everything I've taught you in mind."
"You make it sound so easy."
Seokjin chuckles softly. "You've got this, Jungkook. Trust yourself."
"I'll try. Talk to you later, okay hyung?" Jungkook says as he nears Taehyung's neighborhood.
"Okay. Bye bye."
"Bye." The younger chuckles before ending the call.
When he arrives at the address his breath is taken away at how expensive everything around him looks.
There's a huge gate surrounding the neighborhood, he has to give his id before he can pass through them.
"Mr. Kim is expecting you Secretary Jeon." The woman smiles.
"I'm sorry?" Jungkook asks in confusion.
"You're Secretary Jeon, Mr. Kim told us he was expecting you." The woman says as she hands Jungkook his id.
"...ah." The younger nods. "I see, thank you."
"Of course."
Jungkook drives through the gate in confusion.
"Secretary?" He says to himself, of all things Taehyung could have chosen as a cover up he chose a secretary.
Jungkook was still a full time student, he didn't have time to be an actual secretary on top of caring for Taehyung and getting good grades.
He parks his car outside the house, climbing out a bit cautiously.
The house was huge and he felt almost intimidated by the extravagance of the home.
"Jungkook-ah!"
Jimin's voice comes from up the long driveway, waving him over.
"Did you get here alright?" He asks when Jungkook meets him.
"Um, yeah. Fine." The younger nods. "Is this the house?"
"I know. It's fucking huge." Jimin says looking at it with a sigh. "Taehyung hates it."
"The lady at the gate called me Secretary Jeon." Jungkook says as Jimin leads him inside. "What's that about?"
"Oh, about that~"
"Jungkook, you made it." Taehyung says appearing from inside the house.
The smile on Taehyung's face makes Jungkook smile, he's never seen the brunette smile so naturally.
"Yeah. This is a nice place you got here." The younger says, holding his hand out and shaking Taehyung's hand.
"I'm glad you could make it on such short notice." The older says.
"No, yeah. I wasn't busy so I was able to get my stuff out of my apartment pretty easily." Jungkook nods.
"Well, Jimin can help you get your stuff out of your car and show you to your room." Taehyung says looking at Jimin. "I have a phone call to make so I'll be upstairs for a little bit."
"Okay." Jimin nods.
"Thank you again, Jungkook. We'll talk more in a minute." Taehyung says before heading back inside the large house.
Jungkook watches him until he's inside, he wasn't sure what he was looking for but he couldn't seem to look away.
"Let's get your stuff." Jimin says walking to the car.
"This must be really hard for him, huh?" Jungkook asks as he unlocks his car. "Letting me in."
"Yeah. It's definitely gonna take some getting used to." The older says grabbing a suit case. "He's only lived with me and his mother before."
Jungkook nods, grabbing a few things before following Jimin inside the house.
Inside the house is just as beautiful as the outside, his room is huge and he almost can't believe he's going to be living here.
With the help of Jimin he gets the rest of his things up to his room before Taehyung meets the two of them downstairs in the kitchen, walking straight to the refrigerator.
"How was your call?" Jimin asks from where he and Jungkook sit at the table.
"Hm? Oh, fine. It was fine." The brunette says grabbing a water bottle.
Jungkook looks at Jimin and the older shrugs.
"You feeling okay, Taehyung?" He asks his friend. "Are you dissociating?"
"...no." The brunette says but it's obvious that he definitely is.
"Alright." Jimin says, looking at Jungkook. "You can't do much to help when he gets like this."
Jungkook nods. "He can't hear us?"
"No, he can. He's just not paying attention to us." Jimin explains. "I have to go to work so I'm gonna get going."
"You're just going to leave?" Jungkook asks, a bit of panic rising in his chest.
"You're his caregiver now, Jungkook." Jimin chuckles as he stands. "Just keep an eye on him."
"W-What if it's V?" The younger whispers.
"Don't be afraid of him." The older says. "Try talking to him."
Taehyung starts murmuring to himself, his eyes focused on something far away.
"Don't worry, Jungkook." Jimin says. "You're fine. Okay?"
Jungkook sighs. "Fine."
"Call me if you need me." Jimin says before turning to Taehyung. "I'm going, Taehyung. I'll see you later."
"Okay." The brunette answers, he replies but he sounds so far away.
Once Jimin leaves Jungkook watches Taehyung closely for the next few minutes before the older exhales in pain.
Jungkook watches nervously as the brunette looks down, blinking multiple times.
When he looks up Jungkook is met with pitch black irises.
