Pushed into Memory Lane

Hello, everyone! Can I ask you a question? Have you ever felt like everyone else have more important, memorable, and more exciting lives than you? Well... that was kinda me during English class.

Before I can jump ahead, let me get you caught up. So...in English class, we read "The Chase" by Annie Dillard. And that brought us to our narrative essay, and the subject to write an essay about a memory of yours. (Well he wanted the memory to have a "you-moment").

This might help you get an idea about how I felt... "Seems like everyone has memory that they can easily recall a memory from their life, where they have a "you-moment", and that they can write a whole essay about. While I, I can only a few memories and only one of them really had a "me-moment". (I rarely get "me-moments". Unlike others, I'm just a side character in everyone's life. That really doesn't have a purpose to be there...never mind.)", and I typed that today during class.

2 days, Wednesday and today, was I able to brainstorm one moment about me that I remember. My English teacher said that the memory could be from frightening to joyous. Here's the thing about me, I TRY NOT REMEMBER MY FRIGHTENING MEMORIES!

But on Wednesday, only one memory kept playing my mind....and well....let's say it wasn't a pretty one and had me worried. But it didn't help that today, one of my classmates (who have English with me) kept yelling, "Don't have a seizue! Make sure you don't have a seizue!" I can tell you that it not only get on my nerves hearing that over and over, but it made me think of that one memory again! (There's NO WAY that I'm going to write about that....incident on my essay or here! *deeply breathes* Sorry that you had to suffer that. Just...never mind.)

Anyway, on a happier tone, I have considered a few happy memories that I might write about. Um...like Halloween of 2013 (that was an exciting and kinda weird Halloween, hehe...), the summer carnival of 2016 (so the summer this year.), or maybe the first time I met a....um.......special person.....um...............here (*looks away*)? Oh, I just thought of another one, the first time I got my glasses! (I know, it's a dorky memory. But hey, it was a "me-moment" and I do remember that moment quite well, hehe..)

Hmmm....I'll have to continue strolling through memory lane. So, since in English is going to have us work on our narrative essay for a few weeks..I thought, might as well do a few memory lane entries here! So, for the next couple of weeks, you know more about my past, but know that I'll have to do certain things because of privacy of my real-life friends and family and me.

I'll probably publish my narrative essay if you want that. And you would know which memory I actually chose for my topic. I know that I'll be using one of those happy memories that I mentioned before! What do you think about this idea, about me telling you some of my memories? (Don't worry, you can definetly tell me that this is an INSANE IDEA! Haha! ;) )

Well...write for you later! Signing off, Crystal~Rose ;)
(P.S. The song is "Catch My Breath" covered by Alex Goot and Against The Current.)
