Hi, everyone! I'm excited for this Thursday! And a little bit nervous at the same time!

Why I'm both excited and nervous for Thursday? Because that's when I actually perform for my Musical Theater class! The actual performance is called "A Wish for Tomorrow", that will explain this ramble's title.

    No, it's not an actual musical, it's 4 songs from different Broadway musicals (I think they all were in Broadway. If any drama/actors know, please comment to tell me otherwise) And fellow classmates of mine were in charge of choreography. So...that's technically what I mean for the performance.

    Anyway, the songs that we'll be performing (in this order too) are:

• "Seasons of Love" from Rent
• "Masquerade" from The Phantom of the Opera
• "Biggest Blame Fool" from Seussical
• "One Day More" from Les Misérables

And two songs I have to have a costume aspect. For "Masquerade", I have to wear a mask and have a fan. So....here are meh mask and fan!

So...since I wear glasses...I've decided that for "Masquerade", I'll take my glasses off to wear the mask (properly) and look "pretty" or "beautiful".
Also in this song, I'm a single lady, but that means I do some different choreography than the "couples/ partners", hehe. That's such a true fact about me. ;)

    The second song I have to put on some kind of costume is "Biggest Blame Fool". All of us have to wear some costume aspect to represent the animal that we are. And I choose to be a cheetah or a leopard.

I had to alternate the tail to a belt since the actual waistband was way too small for me. :P And that I can easily put this tail on/off in a short amount of time.

Anyway....hmm....I guess that I sing both soprano and alto parts for this performance. Before any of you ask, no, I don't have any solos. I'd auditioned, but didn't get any solos. Don't worry, I'm fine, I'm happy for my friends who got a solo and a in-between solos. (In-between solos are soloists or groups who perform their own song that they performed in during class.)

Oh, I almost forgot! On Wednesday, I have a tech rehearsal. And on Thursday is the day of the actual performance! So...on those two days..I won't be here. But don't worry! I will try to talk/message some of you afterward. (Am thinking of one person in particular......no offense.)

*gasps* I remember that I have to write a character profile on one of my characters that I'll be on the performance! And it's due on Friday! (*mentally talking to myself* Calm down, Crystal!)

Anyway, so...I'm excited for "A Wish for Tomorrow" performance! Wish me luck for Thursday! :D (Or say "break a leg"! Hehe)
