"What? " Misha exclaimed loudly.

"Yeah and this is what I was trying to tell you guys before the interruption. " Randhir told us with the guilty face.

I'm really happy for Kiya but I don't know why am I not feeling it?

Is there something wrong?

"And when did this happen? " Ayaan asked the question I wanted to ask.

" Last night, I mean evening. Actually we met in a library and we were talking and—" "And we got to know we both have a crush on each other. " Kiya completed Randhir's sentence with a shy smile on her face.

Randhir has a crush on Kiya? And he never told me this!

"I feel betrayed Randhir. I thought we were close enough for you to tell me that you have a crush on my best friend. " I told him getting up and he looked at me with guilt.

"I'm sorry Sanyukta but I didn't know how to—" "You too Brutus. " I interrupted and he shook his head before getting up but before he could speak, I ran away from there wiping my tears.

I don't know why I was crying, why was I hurt, but I was deeply hurt and I was feeling cheated again by the person I trusted more than I trusted myself.

I hate you Randhir Singh Shekhawat! You are no different from your best friend!

"Sanyukta listen." I had no idea that even the traitor was running behind me.

"Sanyukta. " He held my hand making me look at him.

I jerked my hand away and wiped my tears.

"Why are you crying? " He asked taking me in a side hug and I broke into tears.

"I wanted to tell you this long back but I thought you'll get mad at me for having a crush on your best friend. " He mumbled caressing my hair.

"Why would I get mad?" I asked in annoyance and he shrugged.

"I mean, I have seen how protective you are of your friends. " He reasoned causing me to roll my eyes.

"Bullshit Randhir. " I dismissed his reason and he chuckled.

"Listen I'm sorry, I wanted to tell you before anyone else, even her but last evening it just happened with the flow and I couldn't... " He trailed off with a small smile.

"Aww how cute. " I pulled his cheeks and he scratched his nape blushing.

"How is it Randhir? All of it? How does it feels? " I asked, now smiling. All my tears, complaints were long gone, I just wanted to know how my best friend was feeling.

"I don't know, it's  it's just something else. I have never felt this way before, she's my first and all of it is so new and beautiful, you know. I never thought this day will come, I always liked her but never had the courage to confess and when I got to know about her crush on me, the situations were not favourable for me to go and tell her everything. But last night, it was some energy in itself, I felt free and when she made the first move, that is, she held my hand, I couldn't resist and I confessed.

It was beautiful, she was beautiful, she is actually! She has always been beautiful, really really beautiful. " He told me with a smile and I hugged him tightly.

"I'm really happy for you Buddy." I told him finally feeling it from heart.

"Thank you Classy wine. " That name made me chuckle and we broke the hug.

"Now let's go back, I'm hungry. " I told him and he nodded before we headed back to the table.

"Sanyukta." Kiya came to me as soon as she saw us.

"I'm sorry, I overreacted but I was hurt okay? I tell you every time I get into a relationship before anyone else and you this is what I get in return. " I complained and she chuckled.

"I'm sorry. " She hugged me and I hugged her back.

"Fine but promise me you'll tell me next time. " I said with a straight face.

"Huh? " They asked horrified in unison causing me to chuckle.

"Kidding Baba, relax. " I told them grinning and they sighed in relief.

"Now come here. " I spread my arms for them and we did a group hug.

"You guys can't leave me like this. " Misha came and joined our hug.

"There's one thing more thing that you guys need to know and Sanyukta I wanted to tell you before anyone else but I had to tell Kiya last night because it was really important before getting into a relationship. " Randhir told us and Kiya's smile disappeared.

"Now what Randhir? How many more secrets? " I asked him in a duh tone and he looked at Ayaan.

"C'mon tell us. " Ayaan urged and Randhir sighed.

"I'm going. " He mumbled.

"Where? " "Why? " Ayaan and I asked simultaneously.

" America, through Student's Exchange Programme. Since this is our final year, they are sending me because of my academics and since it's a great opportunity and exposure, I couldn't say no. " He told us and I heard a sound.

Of my heart breaking.

"I can't live without you. " I blurted without thinking and everything looked at me with narrowed eyes.

"Guys don't take it in a wrong way, he's my biggest support system,  my best friend, I don't think I can survive without you here. " I told him making a puppy face.

"Yeah even I can't. " Ayaan and Misha said in unison.

"Guys he's my boyfriend. " Kiya complained.

"But he's my best friend. " Misha, Ayaan and I said in unison.

"Never felt this out of place in my whole life. We need to catch up Randhir. " Sunaina said and I held Randhir's arm.

"No thanks, he's better not being in your company and anyways he's leaving so forget it. " I told her.

"And in real sense she means fuck off. " Misha comprehended with a fake smile to Sunaina causing Kiya to chuckle.

"When are you leaving? " I asked Randhir.

"Next week. " Kiya answered for me.

"Right, now we'll have to talk to him through you. " Misha teased and Kiya looked down blushing.

"Of course not guys. " Randhir was blushing.

"Aww, even my boyfriend in school wasn't this shy. " I told them chuckling.

"Shy? He was a despo and a complete show off. He just wanted to let everyone know that he's dating Miss. Popular Sanyukta Agrawal. " Misha said causing me to chuckle.

"You really boast my confidence sometimes. " I told her and she shrugged.

"Stating facts, even today if you'll go around and ask any guy out, I don't think anyone would deny. " Misha said and I sighed.

" I know right, but I think being single is more fun, at least you have options." I told her winking and she chuckled.

"But Sanyukta, I've always told you this, there's one guy who is really worth all your efforts and even love and you know who I an talking about so if you ever feel like getting in a relationship, consider him. " Kiya said and I knew who she was talking about.

"I know who you are talking about and now that I think about it, I agree with you. But right now I'm enjoying being single and getting all those proposals. It's fun and satisfying. " I told her grinning and she chuckled.
