The Valkyries and I were at the theater ready to see "West Side Story". We were already inside the theater in our seats.

Patrick: It's going to feel great watching "West Side Story" again. This time on the big screen. I remember when my cousin Tiffany showed the movie to me and I really laughed at the opening scene. Then I watched it in my music class during my Middle School years.

Kiana: It's a great movie.

Himeko: It's like "Romeo and Juliet" where two different people from different sides fall for each other.

Mei: Two rival gangs. The Jets and the Sharks.

Bronya: Americans and Porto Ricans.

Seele: It was based on the broadway.

Patrick: And it gave Michael Jackson inspiration to make his song "Beat It". That's where he got the idea from.

Theresa: A "Romeo and Juliet" story set in New York City.

Patrick: Yeah... It's about Tony and Maria who fall in love but Maria's brother Bernardo was against that. Tony's best friend Riff proposes a brawl with blades or guns somewhere to settle the score between both rival gangs.

Then it began to start.

Everyone: It's starting.

Then the movie began to play.

(Intermission)

Theresa: Haven't seen one of those in such a long time.

Patrick: Haven't seen an intermission since watching "Monty Python and The Holy Grail" on DVD.

(10 minutes later)

Durandal: It's starting again.

Rita: Now let's keep quiet.

Everyone: Ok.

Then the movie started again as it resumed.

(After the movie)

We stepped out of the movie theater.

Kiana: What a movie it was. Like "Romeo and Juliet".

Patrick: Only the Juliet, Maria doesn't kill herself when she had the chance to. I just wish that Tony and Maria managed to get away together before Chino shot him and that the Jets did not do those things to Maria's friend then she would never have lied to Doc and the Jets.

Kiana: And that Riff and Bernardo were not killed off. But they ended up like Mercutio and Tybalt.

Seele: I wish that it had a different ending too.

Rita: So much singing and dancing.

Durandal: And it took place in New York City Manhattan.

Patrick: Steven Spielberg's remake of the movie is coming this month and we better be ready for that.

Mei: And we will.

Bronya: Yes.

We got into the cars and drove back to St. Freya as it was late. Then we brushed our teeth, changed into our pajamas and went to sleep into our dorm rooms.
