Watched on July 10th 2022

The Valkyries and I were at the theater ready to watch "Transformers".

Patrick: I never got to see this movie when I was a kid.

Kiana: Why is that?

Patrick: I don't really know or I don't remember. I guess I couldn't find the time to ask my parents to take me to the movie theaters to watch the movie. It came out in 2007 and I was 8 years old at the time.

Mei: It was thanks to the movie that Bumblebee and Ratchet appeared in "Animated" and "Prime".

Bronya: Bumblebee got the recognition he deserved.

Seele: Thanks to Michael Bay.

Patrick: It's thanks to him, Peter Cullen reprised his role as Optimus Prime. However, he did not see Frank Welker fit to voice Megatron so he had Hugo Weaving voice Megatron instead. But thankfully Frank Welker reprised his role as Megatron in "Transformers Beginnings" and in the video game. The film series lasted for a decade.

Fu Hua: Unfortunately, it got canceled because of the haters with how "The Last Knight" was handled.

Patrick: Yeah... then it got rebooted in "Bumblebee" where they decided to have it catered to the G1 fans.

Himeko: Out of the other Transformers reboots, the Bayverse is hated.

Theresa: Not everyone hated the film series. The newer generation love the film series and the franchise.

Patrick: I started out with a commercial then I saw the trailers then the movie on DVD. I also read a magazine about Transformers. I really love the poster and DVD cover with Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, and Megatron. There is also the protagonist Sam Witwicky, Mikaela, and Captain Lennox.

Durandal: Great characters.

Patrick: Sam was a great protagonist and was based on Spike Witwicky from G1 and was best friends with Bumblebee who was also Sam's guardian.

Rita: Bumblebee was a great guardian to Sam.

Patrick: Michael Bay chose the Camaro for Bumblebee because he didn't want to rip off Herbie The Love Bug. The Camaro was my dream car at the time.

Theresa: Alright enough. It's going to start.

There were Transformers ads. Then a behind the scenes to the Scorpunok scene. Then the movie started.

Everyone: It's starting.

(After movie)

We walked out the theater feeling emotional.

Patrick: That was nostalgic.

Theresa: It sure was.

Patrick: You gotta love the Camaro.

Himeko: And the truck.

Seele: And the other vehicles.

Bronya: Though they don't talk in their vehicle forms just like they do in their other shows.

Patrick: Just as I remembered it. First the part with Lennox and Epps then when Blackout attacks the base then when Sam and his father go buy Sam his first car where Bumblebee shows up as the 1977 Camaro. And that line "A driver don't pick the car, the car picks the driver. Its a mystical bond between man and machine."

Rozaliya: Then Bumblebee makes a loud sound breaking all the other cars' glass.

Liliya: After striking that yellow Volkswagen which he was in G1.

Himeko: Then that scene where Sam got the girl, Mikaela. She knew a lot about cars. Me the part where Sam drops her off at her home was when "What I've done by Linkin Park" played.

Patrick: The voice actors were great like Jess Harnell. He voiced both Ironhide and Barricade. Just like how he voiced Wakko from "Animaniacs", Secret Squirrel, some characters in "Mixels", some of the playable characters in "Skylanders", Cedric from "Sofia The First", Tosh in "The Looney Tunes Show", and Tim from "The Cleveland Show" and "Family Guy".

Durandal: Blackout attacked the base.

Rita: Then Sam got Bumblebee.

Liliya. Frenzy was on Air Force One.

Rozaliya: And killed a lot of people.

Mei: Bumnlebee stole himself from Sam then sent the signal to his fellow Autobots.

Patrick: The fight against Scorpunok was great. And I really liked Epps' "LEFT CHEEK! LEFT CHEEK! LEFT CHEEK!" And that line "Bring the rain." And the scenes with the Warthogs and the AC-130 gunship. People really love the gunship scene and make GIFs of it and use it in some of their videos.

Himeko: Anthony Anderson was funny. Especially the SWAT scene where it turned into a meme involved with Lolis and other things in Anime.

Patrick: Honkai YouTuber Fury Impact/Production used that scene in two of his videos. When he was moving channels and when one of his friends said a misleading answer which caused a misunderstanding.

Kiana: Bumblebee returned back to Sam which scared him and caused him to run away then gets attacked by Barricade then Mikaela shows up after meeting Sam again when he crashed and continues running away from
Bumblebee then she goes after him then runs into him again then Bumblebee saves them from Barricade.

Patrick: Bumblebee saved Sam and Mikala from Barricade. Seeing the chase and fight against the two Transformers made me feel nostalgic. Bumblebee was a hero. There was also the Wilhelm Scream when Frenzy screamed it. Then Bumblebee scanned the 2009 Camero after Mikaela insulted him.

Himeko: And then the Autobots arrived.

Theresa: It was an important scene and a great scene.

Patrick: Sam, Mikaela, and Bumblebee were Griffith Observatory which was in other movies like in "The Rocketeer".

Bronya: The Autobots scanned their Vehicles and transformed into them.

Theresa: That little girl thought Ironhide was the Tooth Fairy.

Patrick: I really cried watching the scene Sam meeting the Autobots really made me cry. Especially meeting Optimus Prime. It really made me emotional.

Kiana: Meeting the Autobots. Optimus Prime, Jazz, Ironhide, Ratchet, and Bumblebee. Then explaining why they were on Earth.

Mei: Looking for the Allspark Cube. And telling the history of Megatron and when Sam's great great grandfather, Captain Archibald Witwicky found Megatron and got the coordinates to the Allspark on his glasses.

Patrick: Megatron crash landed in the Arctic Circle like how in G1 Jetfire or by his old name, Skyfire crash landed in the Arctic Circle. Sam decides to help the Autobots.

Durandal: They go to his house to search for the glasses only for the Autobots to get inpatient and walk on his yard and wreck the yard.

Mei: Then Ratchet caused a power outage in the neighborhood. Then after finding the glasses, Sector 7 shows up.

Himeko: John Turturro was good while also funny.

Patrick: "Transformers" was the first movie I saw him in. I also saw him in "Cars 2" when he voiced Francesco Bernoulli in an Italian accent, and in "The Batman".

Himeko: Sam, his parents, his dog Mojo, and Mikaela get taken and bagged by Sector 7.

Patrick: The Autobots tried to save them from Sector 7 but then more came then Bumblebee got captured.

Kiana: Yeah...

Patrick: I hate capture scenes.

Liliya: Capture scenes are bad.

Rozaliya: Well at least the main characters escape capture.

Patrick: Bumblebee peed gas on Simmons. At least I think it was gas.

Himeko: It was gas. Because now other fluids in cars are clear.

Patrick: Simmons' undershirt had a Secror 7 logo which reminded me of Superman.

Theresa: The logo looked exactly like Superman's logo.

Patrick: I thought he was Superman when I was a kid.

Mei: Optimus Prime tried to protect Sam and Mikaela but failed then Bumblebee saved them but at the cost of getting captured.

Patrick: All he had to do was transform back into his vehicle form then escape with the two but would probably fail and would get blocked by Sector 7 cars and helicopters then get captured.

Patrick: The movie was also filmed at the Hover Dam. I was in Arizona when I was going to the Grand Canyon. I was miles away from it.

Bronya: Megatron was in cryostasis and the Allspark cube were both in the Hoover dam. Frenzy located it and all Decepticons on Earth mobilized to go get to the location.

Theresa: Then there was a reference to Freddy Kruger and to Wolverine. With the metal claws coming out of a wall. Then there was an experimentation with the cube on technology. Starscream attacks then Frenzy frees Megatron.

Himeko: Then Sam and Lennox forces Simmons to free Bumblebee.

Seele: Then Bumblebee shrinks the cube down then they move out of the Hoover Dam to get it away from the are Decepticons then Megatron gets out of cryostasis then gets out.

Patrick: The Starscream in the movie is loyal to Megatron. But in the games he wanted the Decepticon leadership position hot himself just as he always wanted if. Then they reunite with the other 4 Autobots and form the perfect convoy to go to the city to hide the cube.

Seele: Great Convoy.

Fu Hua: Then the other Decepticons show up on the Highway then Bonecrusher transforms and attacks then Optimus Prime kills him. And he must have also killed Barricade too.

Patrick: Because after the scene where Bonecrusher transforms, Barricade is never seen again for the rest of the movie. They make it to the city but then Starscream attacks and blows them up causing Bumblebee to lose his legs then Brawl attacks. In which the other three Autobots fight against him then Megatron shows up and kills Jazz. That really made the fans angry.

Fu Hua: Both sides are supposed to have casualties. So both sides need to lose some people. Blackout also showed up.

Patrick: Then Optimus Prime showed up and fights against Megatron only Megatron had Optimus Prime outmatched. Sam accidentally brought three devices alive with the cube while going to a white building for the cube to be extracted then gets attacked by Megatron then Optimus Prime saved him. Meanwhile Bumblebee with help from Mikaela and a tow truck kills Brawl.

Mei: After saving Sam. Optimus Prime wanted to be sacrificed by having the cube destroyed in his spark in his chest like he said before after egging the coordinates from the glasses.

Rita: Sam didn't want that.

Patrick: Sam said his family's line, "No sacrifice. No victory." Then Optimus Prime said his famous line, "One shall stand. One shall fall." I also liked that line, "Time on target, 20 seconds." Where it was heard again in the third movie. Then Lennox gets on a motorcycle while the jets shoot Blackout then he slides underneath without the motorcycle and shoots Blackout from underneath killing him and getting his revenge after what happened at the military base in Qatar. That was an important major moment for Lennox getting his revenge on Blackout.

Durandal: Starscream attacked the jets then was never seen on screen again for the rest of the movie. Then all fire was focused on Megatron.

Patrick: Optimus Prime could not defeat Megatron so now he needed Sam to put the cube in his chest now but instead Sam puts the cube in Megatron's chest instead, killing him. He focused the cubes energy on Megatron's spark in his chest, it melted then Megatron fell, dying. Sam killed Megatron sacrificing the Allspark.

Kiana: The battle was over. They won.

Patrick: When Bumblebee spoke saying that he wanted to stay with Sam, I thought his voice was fixed but I was wrong after watching the second movie.

Theresa: Optimus Prime picked up a fragment of the cube from Megatron's chest then the Decepticons' dead bodies were disposed of in the sea.

Patrick: Some of that footage was reused from Michael Bay's previous movie, "Pearl Harbor". Then Lennox finally returned home to his family and met his daughter for the first time and reunited with his wife. Then Sam and Mikaela were making out on top of Bumblebee's hood and windshield. The other Autobots were there too in their vehicle forms, except for Optimus Prime. He was still in his robot form. He was speaking his ending speech just as he always did in the four other movies. And then it ended.

Himeko: And there was an after credits scene with Sam's parents and dog then with Starscream leaving Earth which sets up the sequel, "Transformers Revenge of the Fallen".

Patrick: I remember seeing the trailer for the second movie during I believe when I watched the Super Bowl of 2009 and after watching the trailer I sang about it saying "We are going to see Transformers" over and over again. But that's another story for it we ever feel like watching the second movie.

Theresa: It was a great way to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the movie.

Patrick: I remember watching it on DVD again back in 2017 for its 10th anniversary.

Himeko: Yes you did.

Patrick: Optimus Prime and Bumblebee will always be my two childhood heroes. Bumblebee did many great things while I was growing up. He got rid of a bomb by throwing it into space, he turned off a computer and a system after Megatron hacked it, he saved Sari Sumdac from a giant monster, he stopped Wasp/Waspinator after he turned into an insecticon, killed the decepticon Rampage saving Sam, killed Soundwave, he protected Raphael, he slayed Megatron with the Star Saber, killed Stinger the fake copy/cheep knockoff of him, he got his own team, caught escaped Decepticon outlaws, defeated Megatronus Prime The Fallen, helped Optimus Prime come back to his senses with his own voice, killed Quintessa, and kill three Decepticons all on his own in his movie.

Kiana: Optimus Prime also did a lot of great things.

Patrick: Yes he did.

Theresa: With recognition both Autobots deserved.

Himeko: Thanks to Michael Bay, Bumblebee and others who did not appear for a really long time since G1 came back and have their much deserved recognition.

Patrick: Now I believe our rides should be coming back right now.

A car and a truck arrived to pick us up. Only they had no drivers. They weren't just any car and truck. They were the same ones that watched us leave after we watched "Transformers the Movie". This time the truck had a trailer. They were Optimus Prime and Bumblebee.

Patrick: Take us home.

The car activated his radio and played "What I've done" By Linkin Park.

Patrick: My brother really loves Linkin Park and their music. He even jammed to their songs. Though he doesn't think about "Transformers" when he listens to the songs featured in the movies but it's fine. Now let's go home.

I, Kiana, Mei, Bronya, and Seele got into the car while Himeko and Theresa got into the truck while everyone else got into the trailer then both Autobots drive us out of the theaters and take us home back to St. Freya.

They drove over the bridge and into St. Freya's parking lot when the song ended and where we got out.

Patrick: Thanks for the ride my childhood heroes.

Kiana: Yeah, thank you.

Both vehicles drive away as we were walking to Himeko's dorm house.

Patrick: Now to end this chapter with words of Wisdom from the Prime himself.

We got inside as he spoke in the background.

Optimus Prime: "I have witnessed their capacity for courage, and though we are worlds apart, like us, there's more to them than meets the eye. I am Optimus Prime, and I send this message to any surviving Autobots taking refuge among the stars. We are here. We are waiting."

Both Autobots drive into the sunset then the scene fades into black.
