I was putting in two discs in the player for the TV in the living room. The Valkyries and I had set up for Christmas early in November a few days after Thanksgiving. But today we were going to watch a movie because today was the day that lives in infamy. The attack on Pearl Harbor.

Kiana: Today is also my birthday too.

Patrick and Valkyries: Happy Birthday Kiana.

Patrick: I've been watching this movie since early summer of 2015 after getting it in a garage sale. Then I watched it for the first time on the way to Ohio in the car.

Kiana: Explain to us again what it's about?

Patrick: It's about two pilots. Rafe McCawley played by Ben Affleck and Danny Walker played by Josh Hartnett. Rafe was dating this nurse named Evelyn Johnson played by Kate Beckinsale then he goes to Europe to fight against the Adolf Hitler Nazis while Danny and Evelyn get sent to Pearl Harbor. But then Rafe gets shot down and they thought that he was dead then Danny and Evelyn start their own relationship. And the other parts you know what happens.

Mei: We know. The attack on Pearl Harbor and the Doolittle Raid.

Patrick: Speaking of Doolittle I loved how Alac Baldwin played James Doolittle after watching him narrate Thomas and being Mr. Conductor. I've also heard him on the radio and voice act in several different cartoons like how he voiced Future Timmy Turner in "The Fairy Odd Parents" Channel Chasers. Though things haven't been looking good for him after the shooting incident while filming "Rust".

Bronya: He's a great actor and always will be.

Himeko: There is also Makoto Iwamatsu who played Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto. He was also the voice of Aku from "Samurai Jack" and Iroh from "Avatar The Last Airbender then he was replaced by Greg Baldwin because of how he passed away.

Seele: There is also Cuba Gooding Jr. who played Doris "Dorie" Miller.

Patrick: I liked his work in the movie "Outbreak" and how he voiced Buck in "Home on the Range"

Fu Hua some of the cast went on to be in the movie "Black Hawk Down".

Patrick: I really like Michael Bay's movies. I remember when I watched his depiction of "Transformers". The first movie was the first one I saw of his work then I watched the rest of the film series over the years.

Kiana: We'll what are we waiting for? Let's watch it.

Patrick: Not yet. 2 more girls are coming to watch it with us.

Theresa: Who?

Patrick: Fubuki from "Kancolle" and Enterprise from "Azur Lane".

Seele: Those two?

Patrick: Yes.

There was knocking at the door.

Himeko: I'll get it.

Himeko goes to the door then comes back with two girls.

Fubuki: Thanks for having us.

Enterprise: We wouldn't want to miss an opportunity like this.

Patrick: Alright, now that everyone is here, let's start.

Patrick grabs the remote and starts the movie.

(After movie)

Some of us were in tears.

Patrick: What a great movie it was.

Kiana: *sobs* Danny...

Mei: Rafe was still alive and then there were problems. Then Danny was killed off.

Bronya: What would of happened if Danny wasn't killed off?

Seele: He probably would have gotten Evelyn instead of Rafe since he did get her pregnant. It was a beautiful scene with Rafe flying with Danny's son in the red plane crop duster like how it flew at the beginning of the movie.

Fu Hua: It was a great movie. All about Planes.

Patrick: It was like Titanic with being so long only it was 3 hours long instead of 4 hours long.

Theresa: America got its revenge.

Himeko: Great cgi and great use of real ships and planes.

Durandal: And the explosions.

Rita: Great story about two pilots.

Liliya: Indeed.

Rozaliya: One pilot living while the other gets killed off.

Captain: Michael Bay did great with this movie.

Kiana: We got to hear the THX sound again.

Patrick: I hope you weren't uncomfortable, Fubuki.

Fubuki: Oh no I wasn't. It's just a movie.

Enterprise: I wasn't uncomfortable either. It was great seeing Hornet launching the B-25s.

Patrick: Some people love it and some people hate it. I'm glad to watch "Pearl Harbor" on the 80th Anniversary of the attack.

Enterprise: And so am I.

Fubuki: And me too.

Patrick: Tomorrow we go see "Sword Art Online Progressive: Aria of a Starless Night".
