(Watched on December 14th)

The Valkyries and I were at the theater ready to watch "Macross Plus".

Patrick: Even though I have no knowledge of the franchise, I wanted to check it out myself.

Theresa: It's an Anime about jets that transform into Mecha. Plus it's the franchise's 40th anniversary.

Himeko: It's been around for a really long time like "Gundam". The franchise has three important elements. Variable fighters, love stories, and songs.

Patrick: I might have seen "Top Gun" amvs of the franchise but did not get into it. I really love fighter jets. Especially other jets like the SR-71 Black Bird and the Concorde.

The movie was about to start.

Kiana: It's starting.

The movie started.

(After the movie)

We walked out of the theater.

Kiana: They showed the entire franchise timeline before the film actually started.

Theresa: The whole show compressed into a movie.

Himeko: Three childhood friends. Two fighting over the girl. Isamu and Guld fighting over Myung.

Patrick: Myung created virtual star Sharon Apple but this bad guy made her into a sentient being and added her to the giant robot. Isamu and Myung try to stop her while the bad guy gets killed. Then Guld helped out but sacrificed himself. The guy riding with Isamu got hypnotized by Sharon and tried to kill him but Isaumi ejected him then Sharon tried to hypnotize him but he overcame the hypnosis and defeated Sharon and the giant mecha.

Mei: Isamu was a daring and reckless pilot just like other pilots who act like that in other movies.

Bronya: Like Maverick, Rafe, Danny, Poe Dameron, and other movie pilots.

Seele: Any AI would turn bad like most AI in other movies and tv shows.

Himeko: Isamu was already dating another girl but he still had feelings for Myung. Guld tried to kill Isamu but failed. Then they fought before going to fight against Sharon and managed to p it their differences aside. Guld sacrificed himself then Isamu saved the day.

Theresa: Right now let's go home and rest.

With that we got into the cars then drove back to St. Freya to rest.
