The Valkyries and I were in the living room ready to watch "1776". It was the 4th of July/Independence Day in America. And to celebrate it we were going to watch the movie then use Kiana's Void Portals to go to America to watch the fireworks.

Patrick: I really love this movie. I remember watching it in Middle School in the auditorium however we never got to finish it as we only got to the part after John Adams received salt peters from his wife Abigail Adams. Abigail Adams wanted pins. John Adams is obnoxious and disliked by the other congress men except a few. He's played by William Daniels the voice KITT from "Knight Rider".

Kiana: America declared its independence from the British during the Revolutionary War. The British were first seen as the good guys during the French and Indian War but changed into the bad guys after the American people couldn't take King George III's laws and rules anymore.

Himeko: There's songs like "But Mr. Adams" and "The Lees of Old Virginia".

Theresa: A musical the movie is.

Bronya: Based in a broadway.

Seele: and retelling events.

Fu Hua: Like when the Declaration of Independence was created.

Patrick: I enjoy my freedom as an American. With the help of George Washington, America was able to get its freedom from Britain.

Rita: There's others like Benjamin Franklin and Thomas Jefferson.

Durandal: And all the other men who signed the declaration.

Kallen: Sakura and I weren't even around when America was born.

Patrick: Steven Hopkins wanting rum was really funny. The Americans called the British soldiers lobster backs.

Kiana: Let's start the movie right now.

Liliya: Let's start watching.

Rozaliya: Yeah let's start watching now.

Patrick: Ok.

We put the movie on and it started playing on the tv.

(After movie)

Patrick: Just like how I remember it. It ended with the men signing the Declaration of Independence. John Hancock wanted his signed name to be big for King George to read. That became an expression for wanting a signature from someone. "Can I have your John Hancock?".

Kiana: Good music and singing.

Mei: They sang good.

Bronya: Some moments were funny.

Seele: And great shots too.

Theresa: We better get to America right away.

Kiana: Right.

Kiana opened a Void portal to America and then we all stepped through.

(Night, America)

Together we watched the fireworks light up the night sky with their colors.

Patrick: It's great to be an American.

Kiana: You enjoy your independence and freedom.

Himeko: Americans will be Americans.

Together we spoke.
