30 years ago in the Deserts of Cairo, 1984

An young red hair woman trouts through the sand desert. The sun is up and bright with its hot sunlight "burning" the sand underneath. They say that if you don't know the place, you can easily get lost. Illusions may drive you crazy and the lack of water and food will lead you to death. The only way to get through that nightmare is wearing clothes suitable for that kind of weather and driving a Jeep. But, you must get prepared for the deadly wind that takes with it tons of sand.

"Give me that medallion" a deep voice demands.

"Oh, please, Saki. You know my answer." The young woman replies with fierce.

Oroku Saki, known as in the future Shredder, narrows his black eyes. The white hat he's wearing, makes shadow to fall on them, causing that narrow to be deadly and lethal; even more lethal than it is really.

"And you know what I will do, Ann" he retorts with his cold voice.

He can't even stop thinking of that medallion. The medallion had a mystery history behind it. No one knows where it came from or what it holds. Many of the locals of Cairo say it has an mysterious power but other say it's just an myth no one knows if it's true. That's why Saki wanted to find out for himself. If the rumor of the medallion was true the power that will make him unstoppable and gives him what he desires the most. He and his father where searching for years that medallion and now... This woman is the last thing he wanted to get pass.

"And I don't care." Ann Balaoura Fox spats, venom filling her voice as her milky white skinned hand clenches around a small sword; a tantō with black and red flowers hold.

Strawberry red hair set on a ponytail, don't move at all so as her body. Her icy blue eyes filled with venom, bravery and fierce look at her enemy and don't get away. This medallion is the last thing she kept from her grandmother; she won't let Saki take it. Saki growls; an animalistic growl that makes Ann to shiver. He then launches at attack with Ann rising her tantō up and defending herself. She backflips away and runs away. Saki yells in furry and chase her. Even if the weather and sand that sank their feet didn't help, the hunt hadn't stop. Ann, still holding the medallion at one hand, looks around with face features hardened.

I need a place to hide it, she keeps trailing in her head. Finally, at some time, Ann spots a small cave on her left. With a smile of triumph creeping up to her lip line, she runs towards it and stops running when she gets in. After a minute or two, Saki gets in, slightly panting, 5 ninjas behind him, backing him up.

"Stop. Chasing. ME!!!" Ann screams the last word before a large green ball is fired from her hands.

Saki ducks away and gives a death glare to her. But Ann hasn't stopped there. She keeps firing balls of ectoplasm with anger and Saki keeps avoiding them by ducking. She hits 2 of the ninjas.

"This trick will not save you, foolish woman." he retorts as he takes out a rope.

"At least, that trick will kill you!" She yells and throws more ectoplasmic balls.

Saki finds the chance to throw the rope on Ann who yelps in surprise and tries to free herself. The ninjas grab her. The medallion falls off her hand in the struggle. Saki walks to it, takes it and smiles slyly at Ann.

"No! You wouldn't !" she yells and Saki looks at her. He then waves the medallion to her.

"Too late, Ann." He walks away with clear satisfaction. The ninjas take her weapones and throw her to the ground.

"No !!! I'll hunt you, Saki! You'll pay for this!" Ann screams.

Suddenly the ground begins to shack causing Saki and the ninjas to stumble to the ground. When he fail the medallion falls out of his hand.

The Medallion falls through the crakes on the ground.

"Nooooo !!!!!!!!!!!" Ann shouts as she struggles desperately as she tries to get free.

Saki growls in anger. his hands balling up in anger. The Medallion was now gone to this world. Like it wanted to be lost. Saki turns to Ann his face darken.

"If I can't have the medallion and then you'll die here" Saki snares as one of ninjas gag her and drags her to an boulder and ties her to it.

Saki and the ninjas walks to the entrances of the cave, stepping out of it.

"Good bye Ann" Saki said coldly as he slashes the entrances of the cave causing rocks to fall, blocking the entrance of the cave, trapping Ann inside.

Saki begins to walk away from the cave, smirking to himself as he hears Ann's angry screams within the cave.

It felt like hours since Saki left her in this cave to suffer. Ann swallows within her gag drydration getting to her as she despertaly tries to stay awake. She had to get free but everything seemed helpless. Or that's what she thought.

Suddenly an old but friendly looking woman appears in front of her. Ann looks at her, her eyes becoming drouses, not too sure if this woman was real or not. The old woman kneels down and unties her from the dreaded boulder. However instead of thanking the old woman, Ann instead runs to the crakes where her medallion had fallen and tries to reach in to get it but it was no use it was gone forever.

"No no no it's gone the last thing my grandmother had given before she..." Ann chokes on her tears.

Her grandmother was the only person who had ever truly loved her. The old woman puts an comforting hand on her shoulder. Ann looks at her

"Sometimes all you have do is listen to the heart" The old woman says as she places her hands on Ann's.

"Always remember that" The old woman says before walking into the shadows.

Ann looks down at her heads to see that the woman had given her an old rusted compass with an sun symbol on it. She stares at wondering what could it mean.

30 years later,

Inside a small bedroom, a 15 year-old girl named Rowan Fox was looking at the same compass.

"What did my mother lose so many years ago" Rowan thought to herself as she is determined to find answers.
