Brooks: Morning...

Oh, boy... It's Christmas... The time of the year where people are just jumping up in the air just to get taller... Don't ask me where I got that okay? I just heard it from some Inklings out there...

Brooks *goes to the bathroom* ... 

Then as I go to the bathroom, someone knocks on my door... 

Brooks:*looks at the door* Who's that? 

The voice... Is... Nikki?

Nikki: Hey! Are you awake?

Brooks: Couldn't you tell? 

Nikki: I didn't want sass in the response, Brooks...

Brooks: Okay, fine. The door is unlocked you can go in. I'll just get showered. *gets clothes*

Then Nikki came into the room wearing... Festive stuff? Okay? But I grabbed my clothes and my towel and went straight into the bathroom... 

13 minutes later...

Brooks: *goes out of the bathroom, completely changed*

Nikki: Are you supposed to wear Christmas stuff? *sitting on Brooks bed* 

Brooks: What do I care? I can celebrate Christmas without going all-out.

Nikki: But that's a bummer. I and Glen are wearing Christmas clothes.

Brooks: *sighs* Then I wonder what the other Inklings are gonna wear... I'll guess, 30% including you and Glen are wearing clothes like that, the rest will just celebrate without that... 

Nikki: Fine. You have a point. But these clothes will just go unused. So I have to use them once right?

Brooks: Okay, okay. Me and Cross got "Holiday Pay". I'll tell Cross later that we use the money to buy us food for the night...

Nikki: *nods* ...

Brooks: Cross and I are going to the wet market. And probably the place called... Mako Mart? 

Nikki: Isn't that a map for Turf War?

Brooks: Yes, I know, but it's can be accessible to buy some stuff. 

Nikki: Okay. But can we join? 

Brooks: Cross will decide. *scratches his head* Okay, I'll go to the living room. *starts walking to the living room*

In the living room...

Brooks: Cross? You here?

Then I saw Cross was sitting on the couch watching TV...

Brooks: *sees Cross* Oh, hey bro. 

Cross: Waddup bro. Good morning by the way. 

Brooks: Likewise, but Cross I have something to tell you.

Cross: What is it?

Brooks: *sits in a chair* Since we got our "Holiday Pay" right? 

Cross: Yeah, what's the deal with that?

Brooks: I decided to use the money to shopping for our food tonight. And we can also buy the others gifts.

Cross: Oh, that's a good idea.

Brooks: Can we get out of here before 10?

Cross: Yeah we can. Lemme just watch more of this channel.

Brooks: What's that? 

Cross: Oh? That's live Turf War. Competitive.

Brooks: Oh, I see then. I'll get myself ready. 

Cross: It's so early right now... 

Brooks: I don't care. At least I won't be the one being a "turtle" later.

Brooks: Yeah, cool. *stands up from the chair* Well, I'll be going now. *walking back into his room*

As I was walking back to my room, I run into Nikki and Glen. Who are... Let's just say they are looking... Good? I guess? Atleast their clothes match. Yeah, that's probably why...

Brooks: *goes into his room* ...

Glen's P. O. V

Geez. Why did I agree to wear this? I am really regretting it now... I really wish we won't go outside to do some stuff.

Nikki: Cross! What's for breakfast?

Cross: *shouts back* Salmon. It's pretty good.

Nikki: So basically it's lunch.

Cross: Yeah, I guess so. So I won't have to worry to cook more later. Besides me and Cross are going shopping for food and other stuff.

Andrew's P. O. V

(A-kun: This is gonna be interesting. He's really chill.)

I was sitting in Nikki's room. Just sitting there... I don't really celebrate Christmas. Or I could just say that I am really bored. I have nothing to do. I'm gonna talk to Cross if they have any plans for today...

Andrew: *goes out of Nikki's room* ...

I started to walk to the living and room and I see a TV playing... Competitive Turf War? Wait, who's watching it?

Andrew: *looks at the couch* ... *sees Cross*

Oh, just what I needed.

Andrew: Cross.

Cross: Yeah, Andrew?

Andrew: Any plans for today?

Cross: Brooks and I are going shopping for some food for tonight.

Andrew: Can I join? I'm really bored.

Cross: Sure. *then focuses his attention on the TV*

Andrew: What time?

Cross: *looks at Andrew again* 10 AM. What time is it Andrew?

Andrew: *looks at his phone* It's 8:50...

Cross: *stands up from the couch* I'll just put the time to 9:30 AM... The competitive Turf War is getting boring anyway... It's just so bland.

Andrew: (Oh shoot. I'll get showered.) Okay. *goes back to Nikki's room*

Meanwhile...

Brooks's P. O. V

Okay, that's the last of 'em... 

Brooks: *sighs* Finally. I got to wear this stupid sock. This thing can get so frustrating...

What I was doing? This stupid sock keeps falling off my legs. Good thing I got to wear properly. And... I'll just wait. I don't really have anything to do right now...

50 minutes later...

Time: 9:30 AM... 

Cross: Okay, girls, me, Brooks and Andrew are going shopping. I'll leave the keys to you two. If you wanna go out or something, please be cautious and lock the apartment door.

Glen: Okay. 

Nikki: Count on us!

Cross:*gives the house keys to Nikki* There. We'll be going out now...

Brooks: Later you two. *waves bye*

Andrew: *wears his earphones* See ya...

One long walk later...

Cross's P. O. V

At the Plaza...

Cross: *calls the agent* ...

C'mon... Please answer... Here! 

Cross: Hello? *using his phone*

F. A. O Agent: Yeah dude?

Cross: Get the car here. Same spot. 

F. A. O Agent: Alright. ETA 2 minutes. *hangs up*

Cross: *puts his phone in his pocket* Guys! *looks at Brooks and Andrew*

Brooks: What is it?

Cross: Where would be actually going?

Brooks: Oh yeah! I forgot. We're going to the wet market and Mako Mart.

Andrew: I thought that's a map for the Turf War.

Brooks: I know. But we can still buy stuff there.

Cross: That's settled then. 

Fast-forward to inside the car...

Cross:*uses GPS* Here we go... Wet... Market... Oh, the nearest is freaking 30 minutes away. 

Brooks: Let's get going then. Even after this, me and you are gonna cook the stuff.

Cross: *starts driving* Okay. Sounds good. Let's make this easy for us both.

A chat-filled drive later...

Cross: Here we are! I'll park. Get out now. 

Brooks: You heard him, Andrew. *gets out of Cross's car*

Dang, this place is pretty big. My main thing to buy here is veggies and fruits. The rest probably at Mako Mart.

Brooks: Let's wait for Cross first Andrew.

Andrew: Okay. *walks to a dark spot* 

It really freaking hot outside. But it doesn't feel like a normal hot day in Inkopolis. It has a slight bit of coldness. Then Cross comes to us...

Cross: Alright guys! Shall we start buying stuff?..

Brooks: Yep! *goes inside the wet market*

Brooks: *sighs* That was pretty good. We got a decent amount of stuff in a short amount of time.. *while carrying bags*

I got 2 bags full of veggies and 1 bag full of fruits. Well. Here we come, Mako Mart!

Cross: *uses GPS again* Mako Mart is.. 20 minutes away. Here we go! *starts driving*

This shopping trip is going well. And fast too. And I wish Mako Mart is not gonna be crowded by jellies. Unlike the wet market.

Cross: We're here! *stops the car at a parking spot*

Andrew: *goes out of Cross's car* ...

Brooks: *goes out of Cross's car too* You still not bankrupt there Cross?

Cross: *goes out of his car* Very funny Brooks. Now, you gonna spend your money. I've done my turn.

Brooks: Yeah I know. We're both gonna be bankrupt at the end of this. And Cross!

Cross: What is it now?

Brooks:*whispers to Cross* I forgot to tell you we need to buy presents for Nikki, Glen, and Andrew.

Cross: Oh yeah... I'll have time for that.

So many options here... But all we need is... Pizza, salmon, fish, and other stuff that seems interesting to buy.

Brooks: *knocks on the door* Nikki? You there?

Nikki: *opens the door* Oh! You're home already. That was quick. 

Brooks: The cooking will take so long.. *goes into the apartment*

Andrew: *sighs heavily* I'm tired.. *walks to Nikki's room*

Cross: Well. *puts down the bags* Time to change. *goes to his room*

And I saw Cross already cooking something. Is he even human? What the hell...

A long cooking session later...

Time: 6:27 PM...

Brooks: Finally. Squidlords finally gave us a break...

Cross: Okay... We'll start putting the fruits together at the table...

Brooks: Okay. You'll do that.

Then Nikki said something to me... Well, shouts to say something to me.

Nikki: Me and Glen and Andrew are going out to get some stuff.

Me, being really tired as hell, I just said yes.

Nikki: Thank you! *goes out of the apartment*

Glen: We'll be back in a jiffy!

Andrew: *totally silent* ...

Now, me and Cross. While Cross was arranging the fruits, I just turned on the TV and watched something before helping Cross again with the stuff...

Brooks: Bro, while we're at it, let's put the present in a wrapping.

Cross: Get those presents... And wrapping. *still arranging*

Brooks: On it. *grabs the presents from the bag*

Cross: Wrapping. *throws the wrapping to Brooks*

Brooks: Here we go... *catches it*

A few hours later...

Time: 10:27 PM...

We finished all the stuff that we need. But in exchange for almost all of our energy to keep going... I'll just probably not eat.. But I'll starve so I have no choice, and also, Nikki and the others came back with some... Presents???.. But they said they got it from their friends... So I won't ask more...

Cross: Shall we eat guys?

Nikki: Yeah! *goes to the table* *looks at the table* Woah! So much! Did you cook all of this? 

Cross: Regrettably, yes. *makes a tired face*

Nikki: Oh... You didn't really need to go all-out. 

Brooks: Says the person who wore Christmas clothes when others just don't...

Cross: Just eat you guys... I'll join you... *sits down in a chair*

Brooks: Okay... *sits down in a chair too* 

Let's just say, I and Cross were a wrecking crew in the food. Why? I mean, you get why right? So I don't have to say anything. But a lot of time has passed by.

Time: 11:30pm...

It was the exchange gift time! I went first and gave Nikki an "I'm So Cool" beanie. Since she really likes them in the cold weather... And it had a small pun in there...

I seriously think you can't get the joke. Since I'm too funny. 

Nikki: *wears the beanie* Thank you, Brooks! *hugs him* Merry Christmas... *whispers*

Brooks: Don't sweat it. It's okay. *hugs Nikki back*

Nikki: *pulls away* I'll treasure it!

Brooks: Good. 

I gave Glen a "Party Time!" shirt. She liked it.

Glen: Thank you! *really happy*

As for Andrew, I gave him a "Real Chill" mug. 

Andrew: Thanks! *holds the mug*

Brooks: Yeah It's all good. *thumbs up*

As for Cross, he gave Nikki a teddy bear, a big one. Glen gave her sunglasses. And Andrew, a dark red jacket.

And for me... Nikki gave me a beanie as well. It was black and red-striped. Glen gave me a new cologne. 3 new ones. And Andrew boi gave me a winter-themed shirt.

As for Cross... I don't know. Ask him.

Time: 11: 59 PM...

It's so close... We're near Christmas Eve... Everyone's getting very excited. We made a mad dash out of the apartment and ran to the Plaza to see the inevitable fireworks.

And that was it for Christmas. We had fun, we exchanged gifts, and most of all, we got to share Christmas with people who you hold close to you. That's all I wanted for Christmas...
