Part 10

IN the Night:

Khushi is in her room thinking about Arnav. She thought to call him but refrained herself. Finally she dialed his number.

Arnav who is infront of his laptop lifted the mobile without seeing caller id.

"Hello"said Arnav thinking it must be a call from Aman or any of clients.

"Arnavji!!"called Khushi softly.

Arnav recognized the voice, he was surprised and excited.

"KKKKKhushi!!"called Arnav huskily. Khushi felt butterflies in her stomach hearing his voice.

"Woo I just called you to ask how is your health ??"asked Khushi hesitatingly.

"I am fine"said Arnav.

"Did you had your dinner and meds ??"asked Khushi.

"Haan. I had taken them "said Arnav.

Khushi din't know what to talk more than that. Even Arnav too din't understand what to talk.

So Khushi said" Ok. Good night'

"Good night"said Arnav. Khushi disconnected the call.

A smile crept on Arnav's lips thinking about her care and concern towards him.

Next day :

In the office:

Arnav and Akash both din't came to office. Khushi was worried for Arnav thinking may be his health is not good. She doesn't have much work.

At the lunch time, Khushi and Payal are in the cafeteria.

"Payal. Why did Akash sir and ASR din't came today ??"asked Khushi

Payal looked at her questioningly.

"I am just asking like that. You must have known it Akash sir would have told you"said Khushi.

"Haan Akash called me.. His Nani health is not good. So he and ASR won't come today he asked Aman to handle office today"said Payal.

'"What ?? Naniji's health is not good "said Khushi worriedly.

"Yes Khushi. Naniji's BP went low and she fainted"said Payal.

"I have to visit her "thought Khushi.

At night, Khushi thought to call Arnav but din't dared. She decided to go and meet Nani the next day as it is Sunday.

Next morning:

Khushi said to her parents she is going to her friend's house and left to RM.

When she knocked the door, HP came and opened the door. He welcomed her.

"Naniji !!"asked Khushi.

"Naniji is in her room Didi. Come I will take you" said HP and was going but he stopped and said" Didi. I kept milk on the stove. You go to Naniji's room. It is in the upstairs"

Khushi nodded her head and went upstairs. She din't know which is Nani's room. When she headed the stairs, she saw lakshmi in one room sitting relaxingly.

"Lakshmi is here. So this must be Naniji's room " thought Khushi and went in.

She heard water sound from washroom.

"Seems like Nani is in washroom " thought Khushi and examined the room.

She found a French door to go other side... She went forward and saw a pool, plants there. This is the first time she came this side.

Khushi went to poolside. She was watching plants... Lakshmi too came there and started to eat plants.

"NO NO lakshmiji. Don't eat the plants'"said Khushi.

On the other side, Arnav came out of the washroom taking bath. He walked towards wardrobe to take clothes.

Hearing voices from poolside, he came towards the poolside only to get collided with someone.

Khushi on the other side is coming into room but collided with Arnav. Arnav hold her by waist from falling down and Khushi's hands on his bare chest. Khushi slowly opened her eyes only to get lost into those chocolate brown eyes. Both shared an eyelock.

Their trance is disturbed by Lakshmi making sound. Both came of the trance. Khushi immediately moved away from him. Arnav took his shirt and wear it.

He saw Khushi who is blushing heavily.

"Khushi. You here!!"asked Arnav.

Khushi got senses and said," Haan I heard that Naniji's health is not good. So I came to see her. But what are you doing in Naniji's room ??"

"Who said you that this is Nani's room ??"asked Arnav raising his eyebrow.

"Woo lakshmiji is here naa"said Khushi.

"This is my room. "said Arnav.

"I am sorry.'said Khushi cursing herself.

"It's ok. Nani's room is next to this"said Arnav.

Khushi nodded her head and went to Nani's room. Nani welcomed her happily. Akash was also there.

"What happened to you Naniji ?? I heard that ur health is not good"asked Khushi sitting beside her.

"Nothing beta just fever and my BP went down due to it.. But both brothers are making fuss over it. Not even allowing me to come out of the room"said Nani.

"Nani doctor said you to take complete rest" said Akash.

"Haan Nani. You should take care of yourself. Did you have your medicines ???"asked Khushi.

"Ha beta. I just had them."said Nani.

Just then HP arrived with a sad face.

"Naniji. One of my relatives met with an accident . I need to go and see him. I will return back by evening "said HP.

"Ok. You go "said Nani. HP left from there.

"But Nani. What about lunch ??"asked Akash.

"Order from outside Akash" said Nani.

"No Naniji. Your health is not good. If you don't have any objection, I will make lunch "said Khushi hesitatingly.

"But beta why do you stress yourself ??"asked Nani.

"Nothing is there to stress Naniji. Plz accept it'said Khushi.

"haan Nani. Let Khushiji make. It is her house only naa" said Akash. .Khushi looked at him surprised.

"I mean this is also like your house only naa"said Akash covering.Khushi smiled to him and went into kitchen.

During lunch, Khushi arranged everything. Arnav who went out to attend a meeting returned. Nani , Akash , Arnav came to dining table.

"Khushi bitiya you too sit"said Nani.

Khushi nodded her head and sat opposite to Arnav. She din't dared to see him remembering morning's incident. All served to themselves.

While having lunch, Arnav said" Nani. Today's food is very tasty. Seems like we have to increase the pay of HP"

"If you want to increase the pay, then increase Khushi bitiya's because she prepared lunch today"said Nani. Arnav choked his food.

"Khushi!! But why ?? Where is HP ??"asked Arnav.

"Bhai. Actually HP's one of the relatives met with accident so he left to visit them. Khushiji prepared the lunch "said akaash.

Arnav din't say anything and continued with lunch.

After lunch, Khushi spend sometime with Nani and left from there taking leave. She looked for Arnav but he was busy discussing something with Akash. She came downstairs and said to them she was leaving.

"Khushi. Wait. I will drop you"said Arnav.

"No need. I will go by myself 'said Khushi.

"If you have problem with me then Akash will drop you"said Arnav hurt when she denied him

"I din't mean it Arnavji. Why do you take strain ??"said Khushi.

"There is nothing to strain. Come now "almost ordered Arnav and moved with his keys.

Sighing Khushi too followed him giving a warm smile to Akash.

Akash stood there looking at both of them smiling.
