Past (for all three): The three were raised in Tartarus. Who taught them that the Olympians are selfish bastards that deserve to be down in Tartarus instead of being praised in Olympus. They grew up to hate them. After Percy had blinded Achlys, when he and Annabeth had been trapped in the Pit. Sameal saw it all, he was only a year younger then Percy. After the two left leaving his blinded mother, he aided her and she made him swear to avenge her and kill them both.
