My POV.

I was in my room drawing after I returned from the third realm not so long ago. I was a little tired since I spent two hours straight in the AU district. It was a difficult job, but I enjoyed it. I was writing to my 'sister' often. Kate likes having an aunt and is more than happy to visit her every so often. After our little talk we had when she came back home, I always knew where she was. Whenever she wanted to go somewhere, I knew where she was. I noticed a strange thing - Kate and I seemed to have some kind of connection. Sometimes it was handy, sometimes not. So, life was good. After introducing Sophie to the realms, we had a lot to talk about since Sophie always had some questions. That was, until something worrisome happened. I noticed that Sophie wasn't replying for a prolonged period of time. Three days to be exact.

Kate was being impatient and wanted to visit her again, but I was unable to get her to answer the phone. That was when I began to seriously worry about her. I allowed Kate to jump into the device and see what is going on. Perhaps she was too busy with her homework, or... something.

It was after Kate reappeared and reported what she saw that I understood the gravity of the situation. Sophie was sleeping and it was apparently impossible to wake her up, her eyes clouded and unresponsive. I had a bad feeling about it. Sophie was a newbie in this whole astral travel thing and it was very likely that she did something wrong without meaning to due to her lack of experience.

I frowned, and after careful consideration, instructed Kate to meet me at the third realm as I opened the purplish portal and stepped in. A door appeared before me which I entered without a second thought. I could already see the stairs that lead into the third realm. The Fantasy. It took a while to get to the bottom of the stairs. Kate was already waiting for me there.

"Have you found her yet?" I asked my creation and let out a frustrated sigh when she shook her head. If my guess was correct, Sophie got too curious and entered the third realm by herself. Kate and I decided to walk around, looking for a specific someone. I was about to panic when we heard an excited yell.

"Woohoo!! This is the best thing ever!!" We looked towards the yell and saw no other than Sophie enjoying herself as she ran from one place to another, taking it all in. I whistled loudly, trying to get her attention, but that attempt was in vain.

Kate and I looked at each other and nodded, wordlessly communicating before we both yelled her name as loud as we could at the same time "Sophia!!"

That finally got her attention. She looked around for a few seconds before spotting us and running over to us. She seemed happy that somebody else was here as well. However, her next words confused me greatly. "Good morning miss, can you please tell me where I am and how I got here?" I proceeded to simply stare at her, dumbfounded, while scratching the back of my neck. My discomfort was obvious. I knew why she hasn't recognised me. I had my uniform on and looked very different. "First thing first, you are in the third realm, so... welcome? But you absolutely cannot stay here. My guess is that you entered through the astral door, even though I told you to be careful with that," my voice gained a chastising tone for a second ..."and I am not a "miss" to you sister, surely you can recognize me?" I answered her while scanning for possible injuries. Good thing that no evil beings found her yet.. or perhaps she hasn't wandered that far yet..

Sophie blinked at me, baffled, before shaking her head "I am sorry, but do I know you?" she asked and I began laughing, a lot. When I calmed down I already saw that Sophie was looking at me slightly scared by that performance I just did and Kate was rolling her averting her eyes from me facepalming right after. I wiped away the stray tear and opened my arms for a sign of an offer for a hug. "Oh my... that was a good one! Sure you know me sis! I forgot you won't probably recognise me in this outfit. I am Catherin, the one who is chatting with you, showed you the astral doors and created Kate who is by the way over there." I said and looked at Kate who shook her head as a AG I wasn't exactly the best one, but hey I was trying!

The next thing I know I am being engulfed in a bear hug on the ground by Sophie who toppled me over. I hugged her back relieved to see her unharmed. Kate joined our little cuddling pile soon after.

Sophie was still hugging me tightly that I couldn't almost breathe. "h-hey.. c-could you *wheeze* let me b-breathe..?" I wheezed already choking from the lack of the air. Sophie let go quickly letting me absorb the oxygen that I needed during the bear hug. I coughed and stood up helping her up as well. Spohie smiled shyly not really regretting smothering me like that because it was the really first time we have met personally.

-----------------------------------------

Sophie POV.

I couldn't believe what was happening I had pictured a few times our first meeting in person, but I would have never even thought that it would happen like this. Given the fact that Cath was afraid of travelling she seemed to handle it quite well. I let her breathe after I gave her the mightiest bear hug I could muster. I took better look on her appearance and knew why I couldn't recognize her at first glance. That outfit she was wearing looked weird but elegant I never thought that she would actually wear this. Her hair was tied up on each side was braid fading into the rest of her hair and two loose strands of her hair were hanging loosely on each side of her face. a thin black ribbon was weaved into the braid and on the side tied in a loose bow. She had a dark wine red top that had short but clingy sleeves, on her left arm she was wearing dark wine evening glove that were tucked under the sleeve. While the right one was unprotected on the back of her left hand was a black smooth orb. She had shoulder strap on which contained something in the sheath, most likely some kind of sword or katana. I wasn't sure. On her neck was black choker that had wine red gem in the center. She was also wearing greyish blue leggins, two belts over it. A small haversack on her left side. She had also a drop leg sheath on her left thigh. And to top it all she had dark brown high boots without high heels and something that looked like an odd looking brooch on her chest situated right above her heart. I had no idea why she would choose to look like a rogue of all outfits she could choose.

"Alright so what am I doing here? Have you come here for me?? Why are you wearing this?? And can we stay for a while longer??" I was bombarding her with questions that she silenced soon by making a quiet gesture. I pouted but did what she wanted.

Cath sighed and looked at me. "Listen to me carefully, and I mean really carefully. Like I said you are in the third realm, you shouldn't be here by yourself especially when you don't know a thing about this place. I am wearing this because I want to, I will have to help you home, I am not really sure why you would do something Iike that... what I told you not to do?"

I sighed and looked on the ground "...To play with the astral door.." Cath nodded and looked at me rather stern I wasn't sure if she was mad at me because of that, never seeing her this serious before or frowning like that. "Exactly... and what you did?" she asked with slight frown making me look on my feet. "...I played with the astral doors... ... sorry about that... didn't wanted to make you angry...I was just bored and thought I will give it a try..." I said and peeked at Cath seeing that she was rubbing her face which she does when she is frustrated about something in this case it was my actions...at least I thought so.

Cath groaned hands still on her face collecting her composure when she did she put her hands down but looked tired somehow. "Look I am not mad at you... sure you should have listened to me, but it was my fault in the first place. Knowing your curiosity I should have expect it... You have no idea how worried I was. And-" She got interrupted by Kate tugging on her leg with a pout making Cath sigh and nod. "alright WE, we were worried. Look I don't want you to be here without my company , this place is dangerous as well as it's beautiful. And NO you can't stay here not even a little bit longer. Now tell me and I want a pure truth: For how long have you been here?" she asked me but didn't looked or sounded angry, more like weary and her face was tense with concern. I decided to tell her truth because she only wanted to help me. "I entered on Friday evening I think." Maybe that was a bad thing to say because Kate growled to herself having her hands back on her face. "Alright so that means that you have been here for three whole days. That's enough... You have to go back." she said and looked at me.

Even though I knew I have to come back I didn't wanted to leave, because come on! This world was perfect! I could do anything I wanted nobody was telling me what to do I could do impossible things how neat was that?! I sighed and looked at her pleadingly "I know.. but can't we stay longer? It's so much fun in here I don't want to leave so early.." I said and pouted. That idea didn't seemed much appealing to Catherine though.

She shook her head, little did I knew that Catherine didn't wanted to argue with me and was struggling to keep her cool "You have been in her for three whole days, like I said that is enough and you will come back with me. Like it or not." She said sternly and frowned, again serious. She was different now from how I knew her and that stern and cold look she was giving me didn't make it any better. I didn't saw that fright she had in her eyes. I frowned and shook my head "No. You won't be telling me what to do. Look around this place is amazing! Why should I want to leave??" Cath frowned "Because you don't belong here, you know nothing about this place. You belong to your own realm there are people that care about you deeply. What about your family? Won't you miss them? If you stay here you won't see them ever again Sophie.." She said, but my mind was already clouded a bit. I shook my head and growled "No! Why should I care for someone who makes fun of me?? Care? hah! I thought you are different but you are just like everyone else. Telling me what to do to benefit yourself I won't return in that hell! I thought that you will be happy that I decided to embrace your world like that, but you came here just to lecture me I have enough of this!!" Catherine was taken aback by my outburst and I could see that Kate was hiding behind her creator, shaking a little worried and scared. "B-but auntie-" "-I am not your auntie you pest! Get the hell away from me" I yelled at her growing more and more agitated. Then I ran away from them.

Catherine POV.

I watched my sister's outburst with a shock just looking at her form running away I was frozen on the spot for a while what she said hurt.. a lot but I knew it wasn't her fault. I heard a sniffle behind me. When I turned around I saw that Kate was still shaking, staring at Sophie with a disbelief in her purple orbs, now glossy from the tears that were gathering in her eyes and sliding down her cheeks. I sighed and kneeled down to take her and embrace her. "shhh, it's alright. Don't cry... Sophie didn't meant what she said... this place is getting to her. She's still your auntie and our friend, but we have to get her out of here... by force if necessary. Are you with me?" I asked her to which she nodded and wiped away her eyes, Kate knew that what was said had hurt Catherine as well but she looked surprisingly calm.

I smiled sadly and patted her head hugging her close to me. "There we go, deep breath and calm down. We will get her back I swear, even if it will be the last thing I will do. I am not giving up on her anytime soon so you shouldn't either. Now let's find her before she gets into more trouble." I said while looking into the distance where Sophie run to and put Kate on my shoulder telling her to hold on it tight then I began running hoping it's not too late. I had a nagging thought in the back of my mind what will the TRC think about this if they found out, but I shook my head. I had a priority and that was saving my sister from this place and herself.

It took me about half an hour before I found her, I made a mental note to give a tracking device on her one day if she will keep this up. However I skidded to a halt at the sight before me. Sophie was in front of the abandoned forest, the home of the demons and demoness. She was already talking to one, it looked like a girl with long black hair, her dress was deep dark blue and one red stripe around her waist, she was wearing black knee socks while her shoes were black with one red stripe. Behind her were small black wings and thin black tail with red arrow tip. And what made my blood freeze was that she was casually chatting with Sophie about how this place was awesome persuading her to lose more of herself to this place and to stay here forever, since she cannot be hurt by anyone anymore and wouldn't have to go back to the cruel world.

I stepped closer to them, the demon was glaring at me and Sophie was frowning as well. "I told you I won't go with you anywhere get lost!" I was about to say something, but the demon grinned savagely behind Sophie's back at me letting me see its razor sharp teeth. Kate hid into my hair before I motioned for her to jump down because this will most likely end in fight.

"Haven't you heard her? She don't want to go back. Get lost and leave us alone. There's nothing you can do anymore." the girl said and Sophie gave a serious nod to that. I frowned "Oh really? Did you really thought that I will allow you to get her or that I will give up on my sister? Not a chance pal. Now I will give you two options: either go and leave her to make my job easier, or it could be the hard way.." I said narrowing my eyes at the demon. It cackled and shoved Sophie aside transforming into more hideous form, her clothing were now torn and dirty, I could see her jagged sharp horns on her head, her wings grew and changed into bat ones with pointy ends. One of her arms grew and changed her fingers into claws, there was black and red scales poking out there and there. Her other arm was normal looking only her fingers grew long sharp and pointy nails, her tail thickened and the tip now resembled an axe. Her face changed the most, hair remained the same only looked to be more oily, her eyes were bloody red and pupils in slits, on her cheeks were small thorns, the teeth in her mouth sharper longer and multiplied. It looked like someone filled her mouth with needles, her tongue forked and longer. And on some places of her body like legs and arms were jagged thorns. She was also much bigger now then me and Sophie. I grinned a little "nice of you to show your true colors" I said and get into battle stance followed by the demon's shriek as it charged at me.

I dodged effortlessly however my focus was bad. I was afraid of letting my eyes go from Sophie who was watching us in disbelief, but I knew if I didn't get my brain in the fight like RIGHT NOW I will be most likely injured or killed by that thing. I instructed Kate to keep an eye on Sophie while I was fighting the demon. It went most of the time like this: It charge at me I dodge, it swings at me I will cover it with my sword. It works but it's tiring a lot I can't do this for very long I realised that when its claws nicked me for the second time making me hiss in pain. Alright time for plan B hopefully I won't end up headless... After a moment of thinking while dodging I called to Kate "Hey buddy! I need to lift my spirit a bit if you know what I mean!" it took Kate a moment to understand what I meant and once she did she made the ground under me lift up getting me to eye level with that monster. "Heads up!" I exclaimed and jumped up on the demon's head who growled furious. I took out my sword and stab it into its shoulder. "Form reversion!" I called out the spell. The demon screeched and fell down its form shrinking. I pulled out the sword from it and began running over to Sophie hoping that I gained myself enough time to get her and Kate out of here and away from the demon. But I forget one thing, you can't turn your back on the enemy not even when they are down. The next thing I knew was that something rammed into me sending me flying through the air and into the raised pillar of stone that Kate made before.

Before I had a chance to recover and snap out of my dizzy mind I had its claws around my neck choking me while holding me in the air. It was difficult to breathe properly I could feel my body going numb from the lack of oxygen. But that didn't stopped me from clawing at the hand holding me by my neck. Then there was a sharp pain in my shoulder as the demon's smirk grew more sinister the claws on the other hand digged into my shoulder painfully.

Sophia POV.

My mind was still clouded like if it was filled with cotton. I couldn't help but only watch in horror as the girl transformed into demon-ish creature and went after my friend... but could she be still considered a friend? She was trying to bring me back into the hell... The reality. I snapped out of my thoughts when I heard a screech and scream. When I looked up I could see that Catherine was being choked by that thing that was most likely going to have her head. Kate next to me was growling, but she was scared as well, judging from the shaking and tears gathering in the corner of her eyes. Then she went still and shock evident on her face before she turned to me. "She want us to go and run away from that thing..." Kate said shakily it was evident that she didn'T wanted to follow her creator's orders.

I shook my head "No why should we leave her here alone?! That thing will kill her if we do... also... if she will die I get to stay here.." The last thing I whispered not really sure why I was willing so much to stay in this place. Kate looked hurt at that comment "she have a plan... but I am not sure if I like it... What if I show you a different part of this world maybe you will like it more?" I didn't knew what Kate was trying to do, but I nodded and followed her after casting on one more glance at Catherine who began to have a bluish tinge to her skin.

Then something weird happened, Cath's necklace orb and that one on her hand began emitting red and orange light pointing with shaky index and middle finger on the creature's face it looked like a gun gesture. "b..bor..border-line!" she wheezed out and swung with her hand leaving a trail of warm light sending it towards the creatures face. the demon screeched from pain and let her go while clutching at its face. Catherine was coughing harshly on the ground and looked weak already I wasn't sure what she just did, but I felt a wave of relief seeing that the monster dropped her not sure why I felt that way when I wanted to stay here.

Catherine POV.

Finally! I could breathe again, from this day I hate demons with passion. I thought while rubbing my neck where was already forming nasty bruise. This will be interesting explaining to my family... oh well... I shakily stood up and dodged on the last moment when another attack came at me. I tried to jump and dodge it but I felt dizzy from the lack of oxygen from before so I didn't dodged in time and was swiped harshly into the platform knocking the breath out of me. I wheezed and saw as it charged at me I rolled on the other side avoiding the hit. I knew I had to act quickly otherwise I will be a goner, Kate will be an orphan and Sophie will become a permanent SleepWalker, she couldn't let that happen. Catherine saw the creature standing up and growl at me as I prepared my weapon. Thinking that Sophie and Kate were in safety I was about to charge with my sword because I doubted that I could change the mind of this feral demon. I hated killing it was against my standards but it had to be done. I swinged with my sword at the demon but it grabbed it and unfortunately was stronger than me. Even though I was holding good despite the little energy I had and my injuries.

Then I heard a battle yell and the weight pushing on the sword was gone at that moment I lost all my balance and fell on the ground. When I was able to focus again I could make out the growling and hissing, noticing that Kate was in front of me standing defensively in front of that creature. I was glad but couldn't help and look around to try and see Sophie who was thankfully alright and hidden behind a boulder.

Kate looked at me with a disapproval at my actions to which I just shrugged. "Thanks for the save kiddo. Let's take it to plan B shall we?" I asked her and winked at her while wincing as i moved. We let the creature come close enough for our plan to carry on. When was the right time i gave Kate the signal to which she trapped the demon with vines. Ignoring my injuries I quickly made a borderline around it and began chanting the repel spell. It took for about 5 minutes but eventually the demon returned to its normal form. I took it as a good sign and gestured for Kate to get Sophie here. Since the demon was knocked out we should get her out before it will wake up. I was already feeling slightly dizzy. I made a mental note to tell TRC that maybe our uniform should have at least some kind of armor on it this way I can't keep coming with excuses like "sorry I was trying to collect some cherries and fell from the tree" or "Oh you know that rose bush in behind the house yeah you know my clumsiness and all" it was starting to get old and she felt stupid for all those excuses, they must not know.

Sophie POV.

I saw the fight very clearly, having no idea that a girl looking fairly harmless could be such a monster. When it dropped to the ground I thought it was dead to which Cath and Kate assured me that it's only knocked out so we need to bail as soon as possible. My mind was still fuzzy, but for some reason Cath's presence was making my mind more sober, free from the cotton clouds in my mind. After a careful pause Catherine offered to show me the most interesting part of the this realm to which I agreed not really noting the injuries she was dealing with now.

She took us to some kind of stairs causing me to frown in confusion. "What is this?... Do you REALLY expect me to go ALL the way up? Really??" I pouted and crossed my arms on my chest. Cath sighed and looked slightly sad.

"well there's this really cool thing I wanted to show you.. of course it's all the way up because it's secret and mysterious. So it should be hard to get to, but it you want to back out then alright. I just thought that you like these things full of mystery." she said and what slipped my focus was the way she said it and the body language.

GOD DAMMIT! She KNEW just the right thing to say to irk my curiosity! I thought frustrated and looked at the stairs again. After a while I sighed and nodded "alright alright.. you get me. BUT I will go only if YOU will go too" I said making this solution final leaving no room for arguments. Catherine chuckled and patted my head "Sure sis, I will go with you so what are you waiting for? It won't get discovered on itself." She winked at me and we began our journey up the stairs. We weren't even in the half we were FAR from it and my legs were already hurting as if they were on fire and I was becoming tired and winded. Catherine wasn't any better even she was struggling but I could see the determination in her eyes when she grinned at me. After an hour of struggling I gave to whining and bitching about it all the way up. It went along the lines "I can't anymore" and "I am to too tired can't we go back??" To which I was sobbered by Catherine and Kate.

"Nu uh and you call yourself an adventurer? Come on if we will give up now it will be much harder. Look down we are already pretty far away and that is a success. Don't worry it's not that far anymore, just few more steps come on." and all the other encouragements. Eventually we got all the way up I was exhausted, couldn't feel my legs and was trying to catch my breath. I think I left my lungs on the 420th or 424th step. Catherine wasn't any better she was wheezing slightly and gripping her injured shoulder huffing more than me.

"A-alright... now see.. the door? *pant* o-open them and go in... *huff* inside is what I wanted to show you." Catherine said between huffs and pants gesturing towards the door with shaking hand. I frowned a bi at the condition she was in but didn't brushed it off as an exhaustion which was my case as well. I obliged and opened the door, but what I saw was something weird really weird. I saw myself on the bed sleeping and DROOLING oh my god no. Do I look like this when I am sleeping?! God no.. I thought horrified not understanding why would Catherine and Kate wanted me to see this and looked at them. Catherine gave me an encouraging but tired smile and gestured for me to walk in. I didn't wanted to I would fall if I did there was no floor to be standing on. That's when the exhaustion catch up with me as the adrenalin disappeared from my body and I fell forward. I kept falling further and further, deeper and deeper as I lost conscious the last thing I saw was Catherine giving me a tired wave and the door closing...

I woke up startled from that weird dream. I was breathing quickly and looking around confused. I was in my room, from my window I could see the sunset. Have I slept all day?? I wasn't feeling exhausted but I was still tired a bit. It was very weird dream, Catherine in some weird clothes along with Kate by her side, meeting a nice girl that turned out to be a very scary demon, the stairs and the falling.. very odd dream, but that's how they are right? Odd and weird hard to remember. Still there was an unsettling feeling in my chest that something wasn't exactly alright. Wasn't Catherine injured? But that was just a dream right?... Well I think she won't be mad at me for checking if she's alright. I wrote her on kik, without much success it was weird because usually she replied by now and I spammed her a lot now... I decided for a call hoping that Maybe Kate was around and can tell me what is going on. She was probably outside helping her parents or had some work to attend to.

Catherine POV:

I was a relief to see Sophie returning back to her body after spending days in the third realm. I waved her tiredly as she was falling and closed the doors so no demons will get through. Now I just had to get back home, I looked at Kate and picked her up, much to her protests "I know.. I .. know let's just get home alright?.." I mutter and opened a portal which was taking me back into my room. I had my casual clothes on as soon as I stepped out. But I could already feel the pain from the injuries kicking in. Maybe I should have gone to Jennise so she could check me up, but my mind was too tired to care so I did what I did that morning as well, face planted on the floor with a distant "ow" to it, trying to move as little as possible everything hurt and I wasn't sure if I can crawl to my parent's bedroom to take the painkillers I was already feeling lightheaded and yelped in pain when Kate began bandaging my shoulder after putting disinfection on it.

"m-might.. as ..well.. put.. s-salt.. on it.."I grumbled feeling my words slurring. Kate winced a bit at my remark "s-sorry mum... but if could get infected and you should have go to Jen so she could look at it." she answered while treating my wounds or more like trying to. After a while I could hear a constant beeping that was indicating that someone send me a message on kik. I had pretty much an idea who it could be. After making no effort of movement since it felt like swimming in a fire pit, the ringing from my phone echoed in the room. "t..akeit.. can't m-mmove..." I slurred and soon I could hear a distant voice that was familiar but my mind was too tired to process it. The exhaustion was making it more and more difficult to stay awake so the conversation was unknown to me as the darkness crept over me and I passed out.

Kate POV (:33):

Once we were home I saw mom faceplant on the floor. I would chuckle at it, but I knew that she was exhausted and injured from that fight. Catherine explained me some things so I knew some basic things. I didn't like what she's doing to herself but she told me before that it's her duty?.. Her duty is to get hurt whenever she get the chance? Probably... I reached under her mattress and pulled out her disinfection and bandages trying to tend to her injuries. It was a good thing that she was muttering something at least she was awake... When I was done with her shoulder a beeping was heard from her phone. I ignore it since it wasn't my phone and I respect mom's privacy. That was until someone began dialing her. I nodded to her request and went to it I put on the video chat and saw auntie Sophie. She looked confused and concerned, unlike what she was back there I guess that her mind cleared up when she came back.

I looked at her studying her for a while, while she was trying to see behind me at bandaged Catherine. "Kate where is Cath? She is usually answering my messages... have you seen her?" Sophie asked and I debated whether to tell her or not. Eventually I nodded "what do you remember?" I asked her while inching to momma. She shrugged obviously confused by the question. "I don't know what are you talking about.. really, you mean the dream or what? Look.. is Cath there or not?" there was an edge of annoyance mixed with concern in her voice. I nodded with a sigh and showed her now passed out Catherin. Sophie gasped at that sight and I could see that she was keeping her hands in front of her mouth from the shock.

"i-is she..." Sophie said in meek voice and I shook my head. "No she's still alive, I would be rather if she went for check up before we returned... But she's most likely exhausted form the whole ordeal... can you not enter the door while she is out of it? I can't give you the information she can..." I muttered pleadingly not wanting her to get in trouble again. Sophie just nodded obviously scared and worried. "C-can you tell me what happened to her..? ... and tell me when she will be better?.." Sophie asked while watching the still figure on the floor covered in bandages. I nodded before realising that she can't actually see me. "Yeah... remember how you get stuck in the third realm? you met a disguised demon that she had to fight with to get us out in one piece...it's good to have you back auntie. And don't worry.. I will let you know. Hopefully her story about falling in rose bush will be enough to cover the suspicion from the family." I sighed while explaining mom's plan. Sophie nodded but didn't closed the call I figured she wanted to be there even if she can't be there in person so I let it be and positioned the phone so she can see without me holding it.

The shoulder didn't look too good so I drenched it in the disinfection before changing the bandage that was already soaked with blood. After a while I was successful in stopping the bleeding and drag her into her bed. Never was I thankful for the curtains as I was now. At least she will have some privacy and won't be immediately exposed. I took the mobile with me so Sophie can be calm enough. I covered mom with a blanket and lay down next to her, hoping that she will wake up soon.

Catherine POV:

Everything hurt, especially my shoulder it was the worst. Maybe it was because the demon had something on its claws? I wasn't so sure anymore. I opened my eyes after what felt like few minutes trying to see where I am, I could hear muffled voices. What was happening? Everything was blurry I clumsily reached to my head with my hand and hissed in pain everything was blurry and too bright. I whimpered at the bright light that was trying to burn my eyes out. Another muffled voices but I could hear it better as it was clearing a bit. "-rine? Hey she's -king up! How are you -eling?" I squinted and put my hand away from my eyes trying to focus on my surroundings. After a few more minutes I was able to put piece and piece together. So I was in my room is seemed those voices were familiar. Blue and white.. and little dark brown and beige... oh.

I blinked few more times clearing my vision better so I could see the worried face of Kate not far away from my face and Sophie that was watching me through my phone looking worried but somehow relieved. I smiled shakily and tiredly my head was pounding and eyes barely open.

"-ey" I attempted for a greeting which sounded strained and more like a pathetic 'meow' than a greeting I was usually coming up with. I dropped my hand on my face again as it was unusually heavy. What happened? Did a bus finally run me over? It felt like it for sure... I coughed trying to clear my throat which were scratchy a little and woke myself up a little bit more. "Wha..ha...p..ned?.." I asked confused, words still slurring together to which Kate and Sophie looked at eachother worriedly.

Kate was touching my forehead that was warmer than I remember. she frowned at that "To sum it all up, we went on a rescue mission for Sophie, we met a demon got in fight with it and you got hurt. While successfully finishing the mission you dropped as soon as we came back...don't you remember?" she asked me with worry in her voice and I grunted still having my good arm over my eyes leaving it there since it was too heavy to lift. "uh guh... yeah t-that'sss not gut.

U-unde da bed... thele's a secret com..patment, pass...wod is yo name... t-take da blue vial, ...my b-bandagesss off and p-pour it on the wound... that ssshould do..." I managed to say, how could I forget that some of the demons are toxic... Kate nodded and reached under my bed, then there was a beeping noise, she was probably putting in the code. Soon she was next to me again and taking off my bandages.

Sophie was frowning slightly "uh... alright? I know that I shouldn't be surprised much, but.. a secret compartment? Vials?? What are you an alchemist? You never mentioned anything about chemistry back then..." I made an incoherent move with my good hand towards her way but let it fall down on my face again. "..l-looooonggssssstoryy..." I mumbled and yelped from the intense searing pain that was caused by the content of the vial on my raw wound. Once it came into contact with the wound it began hissing, sizzling as if it was burning my flesh alive. Which was basically it, but it was only closing the wound and also trying to pull out the toxins from it. I whimpered and clenched my teeth to keep myself from screaming. After a few minutes I could only huff and let the pained tears slip. It will be better from now on... or at least I thought so. Maybe I should have gone to Jenisse after all because Kate kept pestering me about it same as Sophie once she understood who Jen is and why Kate wanted me to go there.

Once I had better grip on my reality around me and my limbs weren't so heavy anymore I sighed and looked at them. "riiiight.... I-I will answer that... later... gotta leave them a m-message so they won't p-panic it shouldn't take more than 48 hours??... S-sis do not enter the doors yet I don't want you to get l-lost yet again." I said and felt immediately guilty when I saw her looking ashamed. Sighing I sat up with a pained hiss since all my body hurt a lot. "H-hey come on... n-no of that. It's not entirely your fault, I have a good portion in it as well. L-look in the end everything's good! N-nobody died and I am just scratched, nothing to worry about.

Sophie didn't looked convinced, but at least she gave me a little smile. I gave her a small wave with my good hand and offered her a little smile as well. Then I looked at the watches I had on my wrist and paled slightly. It was already one in the morning and I couldn't keep Sophie awake for long since she had school today. I showed her the time and reassured her that I will go to Jenisse for check up. I gave her a little smile to reassure her. "I-i will go...right away.. o-ok go get.. uh ... you sleep?" Catherine tried. We both knew that I was stubborn when I wanted to so she gave up nodded before reluctantly turning the call off. With Kate's help I stood up and opened up a portal to get myself to Jennise. That will be one hell of a long ride..
