I woke up and started to make breakfast for everyone. Kenshi walked into the kitchen and asked me what I'm doing. I finished the pancakes and eggs. I called everybody to come and eat. Everyone sat down and I started the prayer. I finished and we started eating. I went out and bought fireworks and wine. I came back and started getting everything ready. I turned the TV to Abc news. Soon, it was 9:00. I called everyone back out so we can do fireworks. I set off some firecrackers and handed out sparklers. Then, I set off the big fireworks display. Fireworks of all shapes, sizes and colors went off. Everyone was in awe and I got plenty of compliments. Then, we went back inside to watch the ball drop. "5,4,3,2,1, HAPPY NEW YEAR!" we all shouted. We turned to each other and hugged. I poured the wine into glasses and handed them out. We gave a toast to the new year. I ate 12 grapes for the 12 months and made a wish on each grape. For dessert, I made ice cream sundaes. Everyone dug in eagerly. A few minutes later, everybody except me had a bad brain freeze. I burst out laughing. Finally, we all went to bed and Kenshi wrapped his arms around my waist. I smiled before falling asleep.
