I believe that this is from after Lori's mind breaks for the second time. And she was stuck broken for several days. And everyone was super worried. Yeah.

As Lori drinks the sedative, I look around. Only Sophie, Fitz, Keefe, Grady, Edaline, mom, and dad are left. I know my parents are waiting on me, but I have to do something first.
“Sophie, can I talk to you for a minute? Privately?”
“Sure.” She says.
“You can use my office. Just don’t touch anything.” Elwin says.
“Ok, thanks.” We walk into the office, and now comes the hard part. “I wanted to apoplogize for pushing you away. You deserve better than that.”
“It’s fine. At least you warned me to go away because you were angry. I just didn’t listen”
“I just don’t know what I’d do without her.” I remember what happened yesterday.
“Hey, Dex.”
“Sophie.” I’d been crying in my room for hours.
“How are you-”
“I don’t want to talk to you right now.”
“I just-”
“You should probably leave before I snap at you like Fitz.”
“Ok. But, I am sorry. I really tried to save her.”
“Well, you should’ve tried harder! I know you couldn’ve done it!”
“You think I want my sister in the healing center with a broken mind? She wasn’t important to just you.”
“She was my girlfirend! She cared about me like no one else does.”
“I care about you. We established that it wasn’t in that way, but I really do.”
“Go away, Sophie!” The real reason my parents were here was to help calm me down if it didn’t work.
“I get it.” Sophie says, in real time, here, in Elwin’s office. “I was mad too. Let’s just forget about it.”
“Still best friends?”
“Still best friends.”
“You’ve given me more chances than I deserve.”
“And I won’t stop.” She smiles and holds the door for me.
“Thanks.” I walk back over to my family, and we leap home.
