Everyone is mad at Maxwell probably because he pushes them off boats

Her eyes shot pains of ice cold fear through me and I stepped away from her car.
"Jerry!" I called mustering as much confidence as I could. She shook her head and stomped over, almost dropping her milkshake.
"Maxwell Evan Orino," she snapped raising her finger in the scolding way, "where have you been!" I resisted the urge to quote Mrs.Weasley, and dropped my gaze to my shoes which were very scuffed. I needed a new pair badly. "You disappear without even so much as a phone call, and we have to hear from Anne that you've been stabbed!" Jerry was very upset, she was shifting foot to foot as she lectured me. "Stabbed, Maxwell! Mom has been worried sick! There isn't even a word to describe how upset I am with you!" I nodded clenching my teeth to stop the tears that prickled my eyes from falling. "Moxie," Jerry's voice got softer, "why are you in BC? What's going on with you?" I finally looked up, and met her eyes. They were worried, and I felt a clenching twisting sense of guilt in my stomach. Before I could think through the consequences of telling her I collapsed into Jerry, and explained everything. Her comforting hug, and familiar smell gave me a sense of home, and security, and for the first time on this trip I felt safe.

After catching Jerry up, and I calmed down (thanks to a rocking milkshake) I asked the next obvious question,
"What are you doing here?" Jerry smiled and leaned against the hood of her car.
"I got hired to help with the makeup crew of SPN." The girliest gasp I have ever made escaped my lips.
"You get to powder Jared Padaleki's nose!!" Excitement bubbled through me, Jerry and I had been joking about her getting hired onto supernatural for a while. She nodded, and laughed which made me laugh too. I was so happy she was here, Jerry was always better at adventurous things than I was. I was also so caught up in her being here that I completely forgot that I was on training break, luckily Ever didn't.
"Maxwell!" His harsh voice snapped. I was starting to hate that everyone was mad at me. I turned towards him a grimace on my face.
"Hey, Ever," I said as nonchalantly as possible despite the heart clawing it's way into my throat.
"You're fifteen minutes late!" He growled advancing closer. I heard Jerry stifle a laugh beside me and I turned to look at her, she was holding back laughter. I turned back to Ever who had stopped dead in his tracks, and seems to be truly scared. I was monumentally confused.
"Eveline!" Jerry broke laughing the name so hard. I looked back to Ever who set his shocked/scared face into a frown. He was good at frowning.
"It's Ever," He grumbled, "hello Jerabelle." I half snorted, I forgot Jerry's full name was so stupid. She glared this time.
"It's Jerry." I saw her self consciously fix her bun and my stomach twisted with a bit of unwanted jealousy. I fixed my hair too.
"Haven't seen you in a while," Ever purred.
"You had boobs last time." Henderson let out the most adorable chuckle. Ever shot him a glare, he shut up quickly. Reality took set in my mind.
"Wait, you two know each other?" Jerry nodded quickly, and Ever stared at his shoes.
"Yea we met in kindergarten. Ever tried to steal my juice box so I punched him which he in turn tried to strangle me. We were best friends ever since." She seemed pleased with herself, and Ever gave her a sort of smile. "I believe you had pigtails back then." Ever shot her a glare.
"Until you cut them off for me." My brain was slowly sinking into a pile of mush. They knew each other? Ever is like, 20? Ever was a girl? Ever is hot? Scratch that last thought. I couldn't think of anything better to say so I formed the amazing word,
"What?" Ever turned to me sharply, and started to scold me for being late. No one answered my question.

We were allowed to bring Jerry to the boat for a bit and catch up, although Ever really wanted to get back to training. Jerry told exaggerated tales of female Ever, which I thought were hilarious since he seemed very little like the girl Jerry made him out to be. Ever convinced Jerry to help me train for an hour. I actually seem to do better with the fake sword when Jerry is training me. Sadly after three hours of Jerry fun, she had to leave. I promised to call mom and she promised to help me train more. Well that never happened.

"Maxwell for fuck sakes! Get your ass out of bed!" Ever was shouting at me from nowhere, and I was tiered and not thinking when I made my response comment,
"God, is that you?" No answer came, and I decided he wasn't gunna continue trying to get me out of bed, but I was already awake so I got up and out of bed. I mossed out of my room, and saw a chair fly past me down the hall accompanied by angry shouting. I decided my room was a better place for me, and shut the door.
I walked over to my dresser and grabbed a loose black shirt, and grey jeans. Loud bangs and crashes came from outside my room, and the boat rocked violently. I dressed quickly and grabbed a book from nearby to use as a weapon.
"Maxwell!" Ever's sharp voice called from nowhere.
"What!" I snapped back, more annoyed than anything.
"Up here!" I looked up and saw Ever's sharply defined face peering through the ceiling. I flushed 80 shades of scarlet. I just changed my clothes, meaning he saw everything.
"Y-you could've said something!" I growled hiding my embarrassment with anger. Ever rolled his eyes.
"You're fucking adorable when you're sleepy. Give me your hand." His hand appeared through the hole where his face was and I grabbed it. With one sharp pull I was in a completely different area; it was small and tight. Like my pants at this current moment. I scrambled away from Ever and almost fell through the hole. He grabbed me so I didn't, and put a finger to his lips then pointed into my room. I looked and saw three people searching my room ruthlessly. Ever slowly put a cover over the hole to my room and started crawling away. I followed, my position not helping the situation in my pants.
Much crawling later Ever, and I hopped out onto a boat attached to his boat. Who does that? My brain was racked with questions I kept on hold until I felt safe enough to ask them. Anne, and Henderson were both waiting in the boat already. Ever gave us the run down. We were supposed to head north as fast as possible until we hit land and then wait for him there.
"Wait for you?!" I didn't want to leave him behind, I was the reason he wasn't tied up anymore! No way I was letting him get kidnapper again. Ever rolled his eyes at me and hopped back onto his yacht.
"Go!" Henderson started the boat, and Anne pulled me into her so I didn't try to jump for Ever which was totally my plan.

I was sprawled across the benches, more uncomfortable than I had ever been in my entire life. Henderson was steering the small boat while Anne continuously checked her phone compas.
"I'm hungry," I complained for the fourth time since we set out. Anne shot me a sort of look telling me to shut up, so I did. For a few minutes anyways.
"Hey, Henderson. Why did you cheat on me?" I asked sitting up to look at him. He flushed a light pink.
"Maxie I didn't," he said. I made a strangled choking laugh. He quickly continued, "I didn't, honest. I'd never." I glared at him, he adverted his gaze.
"You were in a room with the school slut. Haze said you had your hands all over her." My stomach-already groaning in hunger now groaned with anger and jealousy.
"You really believed the school fuck-boy for all these years?" He cocked an eyebrow and smirked lightly. I suddenly felt very dumb. "I was in a room with Jezabelle, yea. But I didn't have my hands all over her. I was asking for advice, and also asking her to buy something for me so I could give it to you." I sunk into a crossed legged position on the boat floor.
"What could she buy that you couldn't?" I asked suddenly very interested. He looked confused.
"You mean you never got it?"
"Got what?"
"It was...well it seems stupid now that we're older, but I was a promise ring. I was gunna give it to you when I went to my new school so you knew I'd be back." My heart did a somersault. "I mailed it to you with an explanation. You never got it?" I shook my head my loose hair flopping into my face.
"I never got anything from you."
I remembered coming home after the party in tears. I remembered my mom asking what happened, and me shouting about my ass of a boyfriend. I remembered the next day when he called and I told her I never wanted to talk to him again. I remembered seeing a torn up letter in the trash.
"She threw out all the letters you sent." I whisper dropping my gaze to the floor. Jacob gave a small 'oh,' and the boat fell silent the purring motor was the only sound.

We had been on the boat for two and a half hours, and I was getting ready to eat Anne if we didn't get food. Jacob had been silent ever since our conversation, and Anne and I had been making random games to play to pass the time.
"I'm hungry," I complained my stomach howling to make my point clear. Anne sighed, and nodded.
"Well it's a good thing we're here," Jacob called pointing to the small bit of green in the distance.
"LAND!" My heart beat in a very excited pace. Anne laughed and looked across the shimmering blue pacific towards the land. We were so close!
Let me explain Murphy's Law; An illegitimate law that would never work, because it requires inanimate objects to have desires of their own, but states; "Anything that can go wrong will go wrong."
Everything. Went. Wrong.
The motor sputtered to a stop, and a brink angry wind pulled storm clouds in. I looked at the sky in fear while Jacob hit the motor as if it would help.
"No, no, no!" Anne shouted standing so fast the boat swayed dangerously. Her phone died. The three of us were stranded in panic. My palms began to sweat profusely, and I wiped them on my jeans. The breeze blew my hair in every direction, so I pulled it into a tighter bun to keep it from my face.
"Anne did Ever mention any extra gas?" Jacob asked quickly stepping over to her side of the boat. She shook her head and held her hair out of her face. Jacob started looking through the boat checking everything. I moved towards the motor to keep things balanced-my stomach sloshing like the water surrounding us. Jacob pulled a rope that I had been sitting on this entire time and found a stash of sandwiches and extra gas.
"FOOD!" I shout diving for the sandwiches. Jacob backed up, and knocked into Anne who yelped and fell into the ocean.
"Anne!" He yelled turning to try and grab her, but she was swallowed by a wave. I rushed over to the edge of the boat.
"ANNE!" Everything inside me tensed and twisted. No Anne popped up to the surface of the water. This was not good.
