Jiang Cheng was walking on the street of Yiling, looking for Wei Wuxian. But, even how many time he's going to look for him, he will never gonna find him again.

"You were looking for me?" asked Wei Wuxian.

"Did you expect me to just let it be when I can't find you at the place we promised to meet?" asked Jiang Cheng.

"You must have been really worried." said Wei Wuxian.

"He is." said Jiang Yanli.

He entered one of the teahouse to ask about his brother again but, he received the same answers.

"No, Young Master. I haven't seen one."

"We didn't have that kind of customer this past few days."

"Maybe he already left."

"Those motherf*ckers are lying." said Jiang Cheng.

"Maybe they were scared." said Nie Huaisang.

"Scared of what? It's not like I'm going to kill them." said Jiang Cheng.

"For the Wens to come back to them when they found out that they told you about Wei-xiong." said Nie Huaisang.

"We can't be really mad at the town's people. They're just trying to live their life away from danger." he added.

"My brother won't leave without me. He won't leave without saying anything to me. Once he said that he will wait, he will wait for me." he said angrily.

"Of course I will. Once I said something, I will fulfill it." said Wei Wuxian.

"I know." said Jiang Cheng.

"But Young Master, we really didn't see one." said the waiter.

"If I found out that you're lying, I will burn this teahouse down to the ground." he said.

"Young Master, please." the owner pleaded but Jiang Cheng just gave him a deadly look.

Zidian was sparking in his finger.

"Jiang-xiong is looking scary." said Nie Huaisang.

"He's really worried." said MianMian.

"We can see it in his expression." she added.

"What would he react when he found out that Wei Wuxian was thrown down the Burial Mounds?" asked Jin Zixuan.

"He might explode." said Nie Huaisang.

"I bet future me didn't knew about it. Wei Wuxian will never speak of it to anyone." said Jiang Cheng.

"Because it's impossible to believe." said Wei Wuxian.

"Young Master, if you're really looking for a man who wears black and red robes then he's gone now. You'll never see him again." said the accountant.

Jiang Cheng frowned at that.

"So you're lying to me." he said.

"Let us go. We didn't mean to." said the owner.

"He wouldn't let you go." said Wei Wuxian.

"Lets just hope that Jiang-xiong won't kill them." said Nie Huaisang.

"I wouldn't." said Jiang Cheng.

"Explain. Tell me why you said that I will never see him again." said Jiang Cheng while looking at the accountant.

"Few days ago, there are lots of Wen people gathering here. They're looking for a man you're looking too. They set that man up when that person entered this teahouse. They beat him until the man grew weak and after some words exchanged with one another, they carry that person above the skies and clouds. We don't know where they have taken him. Maybe to imprison him or to kill him, we don't really know." the accountant explained.

"Maybe, he's dead by now." said the owner.

"He isn't." said Jiang Cheng.

"Wei Wuxian won't die." he added.

"You trusted me so much. No wonder I fight my very best just to survive that hell of a place just to come back to you." said Wei Wuxian with a smile.

"You the only person he trusted so much. A-cheng has difficulty on trusting other people." said Jiang Yanli.

"Other people aren't worthy of trust." said Jiang Cheng.

"Most people got deceived by trusting blindly." he added.

"Especially when it's a wrong person." said Wei Wuxian.

Hearing that, Jiang Cheng let out Zidian and whipped the tables and chairs around the place.

"Those Wen-dogs." he muttered angrily.

"My brother won't die." he added.

"I won't." laughed Wei Wuxian.

"It's not funny." said Jiang Cheng.

"Besides, you really won't die." he added.

"I have a lot of good reasons to live." said Wei Wuxian.

"I can't die just like that without getting a good revenge in which I really did get in the future." he added.

The people inside are shivering while looking at him with fear. Suddenly, someone entered the place.

"Wanyin!" he called.

"Lan Huan?" Jiang Cheng said, unsure.

Within a second, he was embraced by two strong arms.

"Oh brother-in-law is here." said Wei Wuxian.

"They have finally united since their last date." said Nie Huaisang.

"Are you sure? What if they meet up after taht date where Zewu-jun drunkenly proposed to him?" asked Jin Zixuan.

"It didn't show so lets just believe that taht was the last time they met each other personally." said Nie Huaisang.

"I found you." said Lan Xichen.

"I've been looking for you since..."

"Since the fall of Lotus Pier?" asked Jiang Cheng.

"Yeah, how are you? Are you hurt? Do you have any wounds or something?" asked Lan Xichen as he checked the man.

"He lost his golden core." said Wei Wuxian.

"I don't want to remember that." said Jiang Cheng.

"Don't tell me Jiang Cheng didn't tell his lover about that." said Wei Wuxian.

"Maybe he did, I didn't know." said Jingyi.

"I am fine. Someone helped us." said Jiang Cheng.

"What about you? You've been hunt down by the Wens since the burning of Cloud Recesses. It must've been hard for you." said Jiang Cheng.

"He's worried about you, brother-in-law." said Wei Wuxian with a tease.

Lan Xichen smiled as he hugged Jiang Cheng.

"Don't believe him when he said that Sandu or Zidian is more important to him. He's just shy to show his real feelings." Wei Wuxian added.

"Yeah, Wanyin was worried about me." said Lan Xichen.

"I am not." said Jiang Cheng.

"Stop lying, it will go to nowhere." said Jin Zixuan.

"Whatever." said Jiang with an eye roll.

"I'm safe. Someone also helped me." said Lan Xichen.

"Who?" asked Jiang Cheng.

Lan Xichen just smiled.

"I'll introduce you to him when I saw him again." said Lan Xichen and Jiang Cheng just raised a brow.

"Are you getting jealous?" asked Wei Wuxian with a grin.

"I'm just being curious." said Jiang Cheng.

"With a little bit of jealousy." said Nie Huaisang.

"Why would I be jealous?" asked Jiang Cheng.

"Why would you not?" asked Nie Huaisang.

"A-niang is indeed a little bit of jealous since someone got to make a-die smile other than him." said Jingyi.

"I love how the son betrayed his beloved mother." laughed Wen Rouhan.

"I'm just helping a-niang on expressing what he truly feels." said Jingyi.

"That's not good." said Jiang Cheng with a glare.

Jingyi just smiled at him cheekily.

"Wanyin, lets go." said Lan Xichen as he held Jiang Cheng's hand in his and walked out of the teahouse.

"We will pay for the damage caused." he said to the owner and Lan Wangji came in as he payed the owner.

"Oh Lan Zhan is there too." said Wei Wuxian as he hugged the same man.

"He's hoping to see you too." said Sizhui.

"Sadly, I wasn't there." said Wei Wuxian.

"Go where?" asked Jiang Cheng.

"To Cloud Recesses." answered Lan Xichen.

"I'm afraid I can't." said Jiang Cheng.

"Why not?" asked Lan Xichen.

"I have to look for my brother. If the Wens really got him then I have to get him back." said Jiang Cheng.

"Just go with your husband, I am fine." said Wei Wuxian.

Jiang Cheng frowned.

"You're not fine." said Jiang Cheng and Sizhui at the same time.

"Stop saying you're fine when you're really not, Wei Wuxian." said Jiang Cheng.

"Jiang-jiujiu is right. Stop pretending a-niang, it wouldn't be good to you." said Sizhui.

Wei Wuxian just pouted at them.

"They are right, Wei Ying. You should also show what you truly feels." said Lan Wnagji.

"I will try." Wei Wuxian whispered.

"Wei Ying was caught?" asked Lan Wangji.

"That's what those people said." answered Jiang Cheng.

"Oh Wangji is worried." said Lan Xichen.

"He'll always be." said Sizhui.

"Well Lan Zhan, I'm fine now." said Wei Wuxian.

"Mn. As long as Wei Ying is safe." said Lan Wangji.

"Even if you're safe, he never stop worrying." said Sizhui.

"So true." Zizhen agreed.

"I can't go with you, Lan Huan. I must find my brother. I can't face shijie alone without Wei Wuxian. She will be worried." said Jiang Cheng as he took his hand back from Lan Xichen.

"I'll be more worried if none of you will show up to me and explain your situation." said Jiang Yanli.

"That's why it's more better if we face you together." said Jiang Cheng.

"You're scared of her?" asked Jin Zixuan.

"More like you are." said Jiang Cheng.

"I'll look for him." said Lan Wangji.

"I can do it alone." said Jiang Cheng.

"You both can do it together." said Wei Wuxian.

"They only did it once though." said Sizhui.

"But, Wanyin we have to go back. Other sects is in the Cloud Recesses to talk about this war." said Lan Xichen.

"Wanyin, you have to take the position of being the head of the Jiang Clan." said Lan Xichen.

"Jiang Clan is no more. My parents are gone. I cannot take that place, that belongs to my father." said Jiang Cheng.

"It's belongs to you now." said Jiang Fengmian.

"I'll be a good elder." said Wen Rouhan.

"Being an elder doesn't suit you." laughed Wei Wuxian.

Wen Rouhan just stared at him.

"Besides, I don't have any disciples left. I have no one." he added.

"You have me." said Lan Xichen.

"I will help you. I'll find some people who are willing to join you." he added.

"I will do everything for Wanyin." said Lan Xichen with a smile.

"You really did." said Jingyi.

"But, if I go back, what if Wei Wuxian will show up here and look for me?" asked Jiang Cheng.

"I can't leave, I have to wait for him. We promised each other to meet up here." he added.

"Just go with him besides, I won't go back there." said Wei Wuxian.

"Do you think I know about that?" asked Jiang Cheng.

"But even if you don't know, going back with your lover is much more better than waiting for me to show up." said Wei Wuxian.

"You're not the one to decide that." said Jiang Cheng.

"What about you go to Cloud Recesses with me then I'll have some of our Lan disciples to observe the area and look for Young Master Wei?" asked Lan Xichen.

"No more buts, Wanyin. I will help you look for Wei-gongzi once the meeting in Cloud Recesses is over besides, you need to rest. You have been on a run for how many days already." said Lan Xichen.

"Listen to your husband." said Wei Wuxian.

"A-xian is right, a-cheng. Just listen to your husband." said Jiang Yanli.

Jiang Cheng frowned.

"I'm not forcing you, right?" asked Lan Xichen.

"What do you think?" asked Jiang Cheng.

"Besides, I can decide on my own." he added.

"I don't want to force you anything, Wanyin." said Lan Xichen.

"You're not, okay." said Jiang Cheng.

"One day." said Jiang Cheng.

"I'll stay in Gusu for one day then after that I will look for Wei Wuxian again." he added.

"A day is not enough rest for you." said Lan Xichen.

"You're neglecting your health." said Lan Xichen.

"It's not like I won't take a proper rest." said Jiang Cheng.

"I bet you didn't." said Wei Wuxian.

"Whatever." said Jiang Cheng.

"In this situation, rest is not applicable. I need to find Wei Wuxian as early as possible and unite with a-jie. I don't trust the Jins." said Jiang Cheng.

"It was Young Master Jin who is protecting Maiden Jiang." said Lan Xichen.

"And he's a Jin. That peacock had insulted a-jie for a lot of times already." said Jiang Cheng.

"What?" asked Jin Zixuan as he felt some glares was sent to him.

"If I heard you insult shijie once again, I will castrate you in front of this many people. Lets see if you can still have a son." said Wei Wuxian.

"If you do that, Wei-daijiu then I won't exist in this world." said Jin Ling.

"Shijie can marry another man then have you. Isn't that great, you won't be a Jin." said Wei Wuxian.

"I won't insult her ever again." said Jin Zixuan.

"Don't make empty promises." said Jiang Cheng.

"We will see if you will." said Wei Wuxian.

"Good luck, Jin-xiong." said Nie Huaisang.

Lan Xichen just looked at him and held his hands.

"Fine, but you can't stop me from leaving that place to look for my brother." said Jiang Cheng and Lan Xichen smiled at him.

"I will never stop you." he said as he hugged Jiang Cheng tightly.

Lan Xichen helped Jiang Cheng stands on his sword since Sandu hasn't returned to him yet. They left Yiling together with Lan Wangji and the Lan disciples they came with was left in Yiling to look for Wei Wuxian.

"You guys looks so sweet." said Wei Wuxian.

"Lan Zhan, when we're out of here, carry me on your sword too." he added.

"Mn. If Wei Ying wants." said Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian beamed at once.

"You're really is the best, Lan Zhan." said Wei Wuxian.

The meeting didn't end in good terms because some of the Sect Leaders refused to join the war with the fear of losing the only left of them especially Jin Guangshan who is still have connection with the Wen Sect Leader.

The Nies, Lans, and Jiang Wanyin along with other minor sects agreed to fight back and avenge the late leaders of Jiang Sect.

Hearing that Jin Guangshan refused to join, Jin Zixuan forced his father to let him join the war along with a few disciples who are loyal to him.

"A son is a better leader that it's father." mocked Wen Rouhan.

"You should really give up your position now or else, a lot of sects will severe ties with you. Wouldn't be a great lose?" he asked.

"They will never severe ties with me." said Jin Guangshan.

"Really? We Wens will. I'm not sure about the other three." said Wen Rouhan.

"We will." said Nie Mingjue.

"Jins didn't bring any good to our sect." he added.

"Let me lead and our sect won't lose the ties." said Jin Zixuan.

"You don't have to ask him. As a madam of the sect, I have the power to change the way of the sect leads and change its leader." said Madam Jin as she glared at Jin Guangshan.

Jin Guangshan can't even argue back.

"I can't believe that Jin Guangshan is so thick-faced kind of man." said Jiang Cheng.

"How do you plan on rebuilding your sect?" he asked.

"I will travel around and recruit some men to join my sect to fight against the Wens. Also, I have to take my sword back." said Jiang Cheng.

"Me and Wangji have been planning about that, Wanyin." said Lan Xichen.

"We're just waiting for a perfect time to attack." he added.

"Qiren is concerned about you." said Wen Rouhan.

"Well, he's the favoured nephew-in-law if you forgot." said Wei Wuxian.

"It's just a normal question." said Jiang Cheng.

"He really seemed to accept Jiang-gongzi for Zewu-jun." said MianMian.

"Even if I'm against it, I can do nothing. My nephews are stubborn at times." said Lan Qiren.

Qingheng-jun smiled at that.

"That's great. I will be leaving at dusk." said Jiang Cheng.

"Why? You didn't even stayed here for at least a day." said Lan Xichen.

"Just worried." he added.

"It's not like I won't come back to you." said Jiang Cheng.

"I can't stop looking for him, Xichen. What if he's in danger and he needs help?" he asked.

"I will leave with sister-in-law." said Lan Wangji.

Lan Qiren's eyebrows twitched at that.

"Don't call me that." Jiang Cheng said with a frown.

"Even Qiren can't believe that you called little Jiang like that." laughed Wen Rouhan.

"It looks like a claim that a-cheng will only belong to Xichen." said Jiang Yanli.

"He really does belong only to a-die." said Jingyi.

"You're not helping, un-lan." Jiang Cheng grumbled.

"Can we talk privately, Wanyin?" Lan Xichen asked as he stood up.

Jiang Cheng just nodded his head and follow him out.

"Wanyin, can you at least stay for another day?" Lan Xichen asked.

"I want to but, I can't." said Jiang Cheng.

"He just want to be with you, ChengCheng." said Wei Wuxian.

"Spend more time with your lover." he added.

"Shut up " Jiang Cheng said but Wei Wuxian just grinned at him.

"Listen. I have to look for him because I need him. I need my brother with me to plan for our revenge to that Wen Chao and his bitch along with his f*cking bodyguard. My sister is so worried about us not returning to her for how many days already. If I showed up to her alone, she will be sad and worried. We just lost our parents, we can't take it if I will lose a brother too." he said.

"You won't lose me, ChengCheng." said Wei Wuxian.

"Whatever." said Jiang Cheng.

"Yes, I won't lose my siblings." said Jiang Yanli.

"Well look, even without planning the revenge together, it still end up a good one." said Wei Wuxian.

"It's the best." said Jiang Cheng.

"Besides, after all of this, I will come back to you." he added.

"I can't go with you." said Lan Xichen.

"It's alright. You have to protect your sect and your people. They need you too." said Jiang Cheng as he held Lan Xichen's hands.

"What about this? I will come back to you each month and report everything that happened to me, is it fine for you?" he asked.

"What if something bad will happen to you?" asked Lan Xichen.

"I will be fine. We can't avoid danger in a war, Xichen. I can protect myself, I will be safe." said Jiang Cheng.

"What a sweet promise, ChengCheng." Wei Wuxian teased.

"Yeah, Wanyin is a sweet man." said Lan Xichen.

"Stop. I am not." said Jiang Cheng.

"Well, a-cheng is only like that to you." laughed Jiang Yanli.

"I just said that to assured him and let me go." said Jiang Cheng.

"It's still sweet." said Jiang Yanli and Jiang Cheng just grumbled.

"What about you bring Wangji with you?" asked Lan Xichen.

"I will be more fine being alone than having that ice-cold of a brother of yours." said Jiang Cheng.

Lan Xichen chuckled at that and hugged the man.

"You still ended up being with him though." laughed Wei Wuxian.

"It won't happen again." said Jiang Cheng.

"You can't really change his mind." said Lan Qiren.

"Wangji is with him, I am assured of his safety." said Lan Xichen.

They are watching Jiang Cheng walking down the stairs of Cloud Recesses along with Lan Wangji for their journey of looking for Wei Wuxian.

"I really did end up with him." Jiang Cheng said with a frown.

"Thanks, Wangji." said Lan Xichen.

"I told you. Xiongzhang assigned me to watch over him while looking for Wei Ying." said Lan Wangji.

"You two should really develop a brother-in-law bond." said Wei Wuxian.

"We will never." the two said at the same time.
