In Tanzhou Town, before noon.

"Why before noon? Didn't it say earlier that the sky already darkened when they reach the town?" asked Nie Huaisang

"Maybe it will show a different timeline, again." said Wei Wuxian.

"I wonder what it will be." said Jiang Cheng.

Walking down the street, Wei Wuxian was drinking a jar of alcohol while winking at the girls he passed by.

"As usual." said Jiang Cheng.

Wei Wuxian was smiling nervously.

"Good luck." saud Jiang Cheng with a laugh.

"Huh? It's seems that there's an event in this town." he mumbled when he saw a crowd that was talking loudly with excitement shown on the people's faces.

"Excuse me? What's going on?" he asked.

"Why aren't you with me, ChengCheng?' asked Wei Wuxian.

"Ask yourself." said Jiang Cheng.

"There's an event for the Damsel of Annual Blossom. Look at the banner." said a man.

"You mean the damsel of the famous garden in this town? What kind of event?" he asked.

"The damsel decided to show up and give a flower for free for the person she will grew fond of especially it's poetry." answered the man and a smile crept into Wei Wuxian's lips.

"Oh that seems interesting." said Wei Wuxian.

"But you don't know any poetry." said Jiang Cheng.

"You should've told me, Wei-xiong. I can help you see the damsel." said Nie Huaisang.

"Not before I break your legs." said Nie Mingjue.

"It only happened once in a blue moon." the man added. The man even told him the full details and the place of the event.

When he was about to leave to go that place, he saw the most magnificent person standing not far from him.

"Lan Zhan." he whispered.

"Wangji?" asked Lan Xichen a smile slowly crept his lips.

"Wei Ying called me magnificent." said Lan Wangji.

"Yes, you're the most magnificent Lan Zhan." said Wei Wuxian.

"I beg to differ." said Jiang Cheng.

"What is he doing here?" he asked himself and smiled.

He decided to approach the man when suddenly, dozens of different kinds and colors of flower buds rained on them.

"It look so romantic." said MianMian.

"I can paint this." said Nie Huaisang.

"Please do, Nie-jiu." said Sizhui.

"I wil, I will." said Nie Huaisang.

As he glance at Lan Wangji, Wei Wuxian thought to himself, 'How could a man like him looked this beautiful? Too bad, he is wearing his usual mourning clothes.'

"Lan Zhan, what are you doing here?" he asked as he catch a red flower bud.

The man only gave him a look.

"To see you." Lan Xichen teased.

"It's destiny that brought us there together, Lan Zhan." said Wei Wuxian.

"Mn." Lan Wangji nodded.

"You're also here for the damsel? I didn't know you have it in you. Are you also going to recite a poetry to her? I bet it's going to be boring." he said.

"Really? Wei Wuxian?" asked Jiang Cheng before bursting in laughter.

"Just how oblivious my brother-in-law is?" asked Lan Xichen.

"You'll never know." laughed Jiang Cheng.

"Here. Night hunt." said Lan Wangji.

"Night hunt? Inside the town? What could be the strange things happening here?" asked Wei Wuxian.

"This is yours. Can I come with you?" Wei Wuxian asked after giving him the bud but Lan Wangji ignored him walked away.

"Lan Zhan, why didn't accept it?" asked Wei Wuxian dramatically.

"Sorry, Wei Ying." said Lan Wangji while hugging the man.

"Just accept it next time, okay?" said Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji nodded his head.

"Always." he said.

"Lan Zhan, don't give me a cold shoulder." he whined and ran after him.

Wei Wuxian followed Lan Wangji wherever he goes until the man finally accepted that Wei Wuxian won't leave him alone.

"Of course, I won't leave my Lan Zhan alone." said Wei Wuxian.

"You're like a leech." laughed Jiang Cheng.

Wei Wuxian tied the flower bud with a string and tied it on Lan Wangji's wrist when the man refused to accept it.

"Oh My God!" the female squealed.

"It looks good on you, Lan Zhan." Wei Wuxian said with a smile.

"Mn. Thank you." said Lan Wangji while smiling a little.

He keeps on talking about his life in Yunmeng, his night hunts and also how he sneaked out with Jiang Cheng and Lan Wangji didn't mind him (more like he is listening silently and sulking for not being able to experience such things with the man).

"From now on, I will bring you with me." said Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji nodded his head.

"So that you won't sulk anymore. It's okay right, Father-in-law?" he asked.

"Of course, my second son-in-law." said Qingheng-jun and Lan Qiren's eyes widen.

"Oh! Did you know that Zewu-jun was with us when me, Jiang Cheng and Nie Huaisang was strolling in Qinghe Market?" he asked.

Lan Wangji nodded, 'He was there for that man'.

"You also knew about their relationship." said Wei Wuxian with a pout.

"Only you who didn't." said Jingyi and Wei Wuxian pouted more while Jiang Cheng was laughing at him.

"I hate you." he said dramatically.

"If you knew, you should've come with him." said Wei Wuxian but Lan Wangji ignored him.

'Why keep on ignoring me?' he thought.

"Lan Zhan." whined Wei Wuxian.

"Will never ignore Wei Ying." said Lan Wangji and hugged Wei Wuxian more tightly.

"Lan Zhan, where do you plan to go? We can night hunt together." said Wei Wuxian.

As they walked out of the town, they decided to go to a small village not far from Tanzhou when they heard about a strange occurrence there.

"This is the longest time we were together, Lan Zhan. I should mark this day on Jiang Cheng's calendar because I don't have one." said Wei Wuxian.

"Really?" asked Jiang Cheng.

"I will." said Wei Wuxian.

"I will smack my calendar in that face of yours if you will." said Jiang Cheng.

"Why should I be reminded of that?" he asked.

"For you to know that Lan Zhan spends a lot of time together." said Wei Wuxian.

"I don't care about that." said Jiang Cheng with a glare.

"Not my calendar." he added with a small pout.

"Lan Zhan, why do you keep on ignoring me?" he asked as Lan Wangji was walking fast and leaving him.

"You can't get rid of me that easily." said Wei Wuxian but the man didn't mind him and continue walking.

"I warned you."

"What are you planning to do?" asked Jin Zixuan.

"You'll know." said Wei Wuxian.

"Sorry for ignoring you, Wei Ying." said Lan Wangji.

Wei Wuxian ignored him.

As he said that, he threw a talisman in Lan Wangji's direction and the man stops in his tracks and turned to look at him.

"This a new spell that I have learned. It can keep two people together for 10 ft distance and if you go beyond that you will be yanked back. What do you think?" he asked while showing the bluish string that was tied in their wrist.

"Now, you can't get rid me of Lan Zhan." said Wei Wuxian with a proud face.

"Mn." said Lan Wangji with a nod.

"Can I also have that, Wuxian?" asked Lan Xichen.

"Of course, why?" asked Wei Wuxian.

"To keep Wanyin to me." Lan Xichen answered in which he received a smack from the said man.

"I still didn't name it, should I call it binding or bonding?" he asked again as he pulled the string and it also pulled Lan Wangji's wrist but the man stood firmly in his ground.

"Or boring." he said as he yanked Wei Wuxian and continue walking.

"Lan Zhan." whined Wei Wuxian.

"Won't do that again." said Lan Wangji.

"Okay, as long as you give a beautiful name to it." said Wei Wuxian.

"Well, you can call it string of fate." said Nie Huaisang.

"But, the string of fate is red in color and it is tied on the middle finger of the two person." said Jiang Cheng.

"How did you know about that?" asked Wei Wuxian.

"I don't remember." said Jiang Cheng with a shrugged.

They arrived at the village but they were confused because the village seemed to be okay until a black smoke burst in front of them.

Lan Wangji immediately unsheathed his swords and stood in front of Wei Wuxian when suddenly they heard a laughter of the kids.

"What an overprotective husband." said MianMian.

"Will always protect Wei Ying." said Lan Wangji.

Wei Wuxian beamed and kissed Lan Wangji's cheeks.

"Welcome! Young Masters, are you here to celebrate our festival?" asked an elderly.

"What festival?" asked Wei Wuxian.

The elderly converse with him while Lan Wangji was standing silently beside him.

"So there's nothing wrong here?" asked Wei Wuxian and the elderly immediately shake her head as a no.

"You two just enjoy it like having a date." said Lan Xichen.

"Sure that we will, brother-in-law." said Wei Wuxian.

"Be thankful that no one is third wheeling you two, Wei-xiong." said Nie Huaisang.

"Who would third wheel them? They're shameless." said Jiang Cheng.

Since it's nothing serious, the two men decided to just stroll around and join in the festivities.

"Lan Zhan, look!" exclaimed Wei Wuxian and run into a stall full of accessories.

"Of course, you will be excited at the sight of different accessories." said Jiang Cheng.

"Will buy for Wei Ying." said Lan Wangji.

"Don't spoil him so much." said Jiang Cheng.

"It's okay to spoil him." said Lan Wangji and Jiang Cheng shrugged.

It looks like Wei Wuxian saw stars because of how his eyes twinkle when looking at different accessories. He saw a jade hairpin with a small white flower hanging on it and he decided to buy it.

Lan Wangji on the other hand is looking at the red hairpin with roses hanging on it.

"That pin." said Lan Xichen.

"Isn't that jade pin is what Wangji was wearing." said Lan Xichen.

"Mn." answered Sizhui.

"Lan Zhan, since you're the Second Jade of Lan I decided to buy this pin for you to put on your hair. It will look good on you and besides, you're not wearing any hair accessories other than that forehead ribbon of yours." said Wei Wuxian excitedly while waving the pin in front of Lan Wangji.

The man didn't answer but Wei Wuxian was already putting the pin in his hair with a smile on his lips.

"I gave it to Lan Zhan!" exclaimed Wei Wuxian.

"It looks beautiful on you." he added.

"Lan-er-gongzi doesn't even mind it." said MianMian.

"As long as it came from Wei Ying." said Lan Wangji.

"There you go, it doesn't look boring anymore." he said and goes to another stall leaving Lan Wangji behind.

Lan Wangji secretly bought the red pin and immediately hid it in his sleeves and followed Wei Wuxian who is flirting with the store owner.

"Did you bought that for me, Lan Zhan?" asked Wei Wuxian.

"If not then for who?" asked Jiang Cheng.

"My Lan Zhan is such a sweet man." said Wei Wuxian.

When Wei Wuxian saw him, he immediately stop flirting and give his attention to the man. They stroll around the village while enjoying the festival. They bought foods, toys, and anything that Wei Wuxian grew fond of while Lan Wangji was the one who is paying in which Wei Wuxian didn't notice.

"You should really stop flirting, Wei Wuxian." said Jiang Cheng.

Wei Wuxian just pouted.

"Ever since, Wangji was already spoiling him." laughed Lan Xichen.

"Mn." Lan Wangji agreed.

"As long as Wei Ying is happy." he said.

"I'm happy, Lan Zhan." said Wei Wuxian and kissed Lan Wangji's cheek again.

"Lan Zhan, lets do this again next time. I can plan it for you and I know the best places to night hunt." said Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji slowly nod his head.

The two was looking at one another (or more like staring like there's no tomorrow).

"These two. It makes me wonder how they become together." said Lan Xichen.

"Can't they feel the tension between them?" asked Nie Huaisang.

"Maybe both of them are oblivious." laughed Jiang Cheng.

"BOOM!" someone shouted behind Wei Wuxian that made him jump.

He heard a laugh making him glare at the person who did it.

"You scared me." he muttered.

"Who could it be?" asked MianMian.

"Why would someone disturb us?" asked Wei Wuxian with a pout.

"Well deserve. How could you leave without saying anything?" asked Jiang Cheng.

"How did you know I was here?" asked Wei Wuxian.

"Jiang Cheng!" exclaimed Wei Wuxian.

"Are taking your revenge since I disturb your date with brother-in-law?" he asked.

"Maybe." said Jiang Cheng with a shrugged.

"So a-xian sneaked out alone and a-cheng's comes after." said Jiang Yanli.

"Permission exists you know." said Jiang Fengmian.

"It's more fun to sneak out." said Jiang Cheng.

"I told him. I saw you guys around Tanzhou so I followed the two of you and I crossed path with this man who is having a dark expression eversince." said Nie Huaisang.

"You again?" asked Nie Mingjue.

"Why is it that the three of you are always together?" asked Jin Zixuan.

"You already know about that." said Wei Wuxian.

"If I found out you sneaked out again, I will break your bones." said Nie Mingjue and Nie Huaisang gulped nervously.

"What are two doing here?" asked Jiang Cheng.

"Night hunt." said Lan Wangji.

"When there's a festival?" asked Jiang Cheng.

Nie Huaisang gave the men a look and smiled behind his fan.

"It's always Nie-xiong who knows first." said Wei Wuxian.

"You can't hide anything from him." said Zizhen.

"A-jie was so worried so I decided to sneak out alone to look for you. If a-niang finds out about this, I am going to kill you." said Jiang Cheng.

"Same old threat, ChengCheng." laughed Wei Wuxian.

"Whatever." Jiang Cheng said with a glare.

Jiang Cheng was going to say something again but Wei Wuxian shoved a whole bun inside his mouth making him glare at him.

Nie Huaisang dragged Wei Wuxian leaving Lan Wangji and Jiang Cheng behind.

Jiang Cheng was munching angrily at the bun while Lan Wangji just gave him a look.

"How dare you do that?" asked Jiang Cheng angrily.

"Wanyin looks cute though." said Lan Xichen.

"In which angle?" asked Jiang Cheng.

"In every angle." Lan Xichen answered.

"What are you doing here with my brother?" asked Jiang Cheng with a glare.

"Does my brother knows you are here?" asked Lan Wangji.

"The two of them looks like a usual brother-in-laws who are overprotective of their brothers." said MianMian.

"So I didn't know." said Lan Xichen.

Jiang Cheng just raised his brows at him.

They both refused to answer so they just decided to follow the two gremlin who is enjoying strolling around while glaring at one another.

"What a grumpy sister-in-law I have." Lan Wangji mumbled.

"Lan Wangji!" exclaimed Jiang Cheng.

"Grumpy sister-in-law." laughed Wei Wuxian.

"Mn, Jiang Wangyin is sister-in-law." said Lan Wangji.

Lan Xichen was smiling while Jiang Cheng was glaring at Lan Wangji.
