131. Their Little Joy
Jiang Cheng is standing in the center of the training grounds surrounded with younger disciples training the sword forms.
"Straighten your pose!"
"1, 2, 3, 4–your pose is wrong!"
"5, 6, 7, 8–hold the sword tightly!"
"What kind of posture is that?"
"Wrong!"
"Is that all you can give?"
"From the top!"
"Jiang Cheng, you're too harsh to them." said Wei Wuxian.
"And if not, they will slack off." said Jiang Cheng.
"That's how you should train them, with harshness so that they won't fear anything when it comes to real battle." he added.
"Being gentle works, too." said Wei Wuxian.
"Being gentle isn't my job nor it comes to my attitude. They will be more scared if I'm being like that." said Jiang Cheng and Wei Wuxian laughed.
"It's true, it's true." he said.
"A-cheng, be a little more gentle." said Jiang Yanli who is standing at the front.
"They're still young." she added.
"We were train like that, too." said Jiang Cheng and the Jiang disciples agreed, looking at the silent Madam Yu.
"How could you possibly protect the Jiang Sect if you're that weak in training?" he asked.
"We can protect it with our pride." said the Jiang disciples.
"Follow the teaching and always take the motto in our hearts." said another.
"As Jiang disciples, we are." said Wei Wuxian.
"Jie, I thought you'll be visiting the Jin Sect with that peacock?" he asked, facing Jiang Yanli.
"Sect Leader Jiang, Young Maiden Jiang, Young Master Jin is waiting in the Lotus Hall." said a servant.
"We'll meet him in a moment." said Jiang Yanli and the servant left after bowing.
"He's quite persistent huh. Why did I let him take a-jie?" Jiang Cheng asked.
"Because you prioritize shijie's happiness." said Wei Wuxian.
"Well, shijie's happiness will always be a priority." he added and Jiang Yanli smiles at him.
"A-cheng, don't be too hard to them when I am away." she said and give her a brother a hug before leaving.
"That won't happen." Wei Wuxian laughed.
"Jiang Cheng will be more strict to them." he added.
"What are you looking for?" he asked his disciples.
"Continue." he added.
"Yes, Sect Leader." they all said.
"If I see one of you slacking off, I swear you'll face my–"
"Face your what? Wrath?" Wei Wuxian asked teasingly.
"Jiang-xiong, you really did threatened them." laughed Nie Huaisang.
"He always does." said Jin Ling.
"Sect Leader!" the disciples exclaimed.
"Our Sect Leader has fainted. Quick! Call a healer." said one of the disciples.
"What call? Bring him to the healer, you say." said another.
"Don't surround him like that, give him space to breath." said another one.
"Jiang Cheng, you fainted!" Wei Wuxian exclaimed.
"Yes, we can see that." said Jiang Cheng.
"Just right before I left." said Jiang Yanli.
"Wanyin." Lan Xichen called worriedly.
"I'm fine. He just fainted, he didn't die." said Jiang Cheng and everyone stared at him in disbelief.
"What's going on?" a gentle voice asked stopping the disciples from panicking.
"Our Sect Leader has fainted." said the one next to him.
"What?" Lan Xichen asked as he hurried to where Jiang Wanyin is.
"Glad that brother-in-law was there." said Wei Wuxian.
"Why would he suddenly faint, by the way?" he asked.
"Fatigue, I guess." said Nie Huaisang.
"Or it could be more than that." said Wen Qing.
"What else?" Jiang Cheng asked.
"Take a guess. Aren't you good at predicting things." she said.
"What happened." he asked as he carry the man to the where the healer is.
"Nothing really. He was in the middle of his threat when he suddenly fainted." said a disciple.
"He looks fine and his health was good. We didn't expect him to faint like that." said another.
"Zewu-jun, will our sect leader be fine?" asked another.
"He should be." said Lan Xichen as he entered the healer's room.
"A-niang, don't be like that again." said Jingyi.
"I don't even know that cause of it." said Jiang Cheng.
"Could it be that he's sick that's why he fainted?" asked Nie Huaisang.
"And why should I be sick? I look healthy." said Jiang Cheng.
"It could be something serious." said Wei Wuxian.
"Like what?" Jiang Cheng asked.
"You're pregnant." said Wen Qing.
"Impossible!" Jiang Cheng exclaimed.
"Na-uh Jingyi is alive and kicking." said Wen Qing.
"What is it?" the healer asked.
"Oh dear, what happened to our sect leader?" she added.
"He fainted in the training grounds." said Lam Xichen as he gently lay the man on the bed.
"Did he overworked himself again?" asked the healer.
"Again? Wanyin, that's not good for health." said Lan Xichen.
"Don't you dare lecture me, Lan Xichen." said Jiang Cheng.
"But, you shouldn't do that." said Lan Xichen.
"Yeah yeah, whatever." said Jiang Cheng.
"He won't listen to you, a-die." said Jingyi.
"Overworked? Wanyin isn't overworking." said Lan Xichen.
"Zewu-jun might not know but these past few days our sect leader keep on asking me for medicine about headaches." said a healer.
"I noticed that too. He's always pale in the morning." said a disciple.
"When was this? I was just here yesterday. He didn't show such sign." said Lan Xichen.
"He might be hiding it from you, Zewu-jun." said the healer.
"Never hide such thing from me." said Lan Xichen.
"Right, a-niang do tends to stay up late for sect duties." said Jingyi.
"Are you betraying your mom?" Jiang Cheng asked.
"I will never, I'm saying what's true." Jingyi pouted.
"Don't worry, I'll check his pulse rate to determine what is really happening to him since he never let me run a test for his headache. This kid, he's always hard to himself ever since the rebuilding of the sect." said the healer.
"Thank you, ma'am." Lan Xichen said with a smile.
The healer then proceed on running the test while Lan Xichen sat beside the bed. The disciples decided to go back to the training grounds to train, hoping that if they will do best, their sect leader will be in good health.
"The healer is kind of different from ours." said Jiang Yanli.
"Since everyone died in Jiang Sect. Only you, Wei-jiujiu and a-niang are left." said Jingyi.
"But, at least this new disciples are loyal to Jiang Cheng." said Wei Wuxian.
"Yeah, that they even think that Jiang-xiong will be fine as long as they won't slack off." said Nie Huaisang.
"Zewu-jun, have you heard of soulmate bonds? Where two cultivators who are destined with each other form a bond for eternity?" the healer asked.
"Yes, it is about a couple who develop a bond that will seal their fate with each other. It is rare, one can't really find their soulmate that easily." said Lan Xichen.
"Do you believe on it?" asked the healer.
"I do. Wanyin is my soulmate, I'm sure of that." said Lan Xichen.
"You're really so sure about that, brother-in-law." said Wei Wuxian.
"Will always be sure of Wanyin." said Lan Xichen.
"So sweet." Wei Wuxian teased.
"I am." Lan Xichen chuckled.
"Do you believe that men can get pregnant?" asked the healer.
"Yes, if they're soulmate." said Lan Xichen.
"Why?" he asked and the healer smiled.
"Because, your wife might be pregnant." Wei Wuxian.
"Not just might, he is." said Wen Qing.
"I'll have my fun little revenge." said Wei Wuxian with a smirk.
Jiang Cheng glared at him.
"What's going on?" a grumpy voice asked.
"Sect Leader Jiang, I just have a few questions for you to answer honestly." said the healer.
"About what? I still have to train those disciples. They've been slacking off." said Jiang Cheng.
"They're still young, let them have a few fun in life." said Lan Xichen.
"Says the one who came from a very strict sect where having fun isn't allowed." said Jiang Cheng with a raised brow.
Lan Xichen could only smile at him.
"ChengCheng is never wrong." said Wei Wuxian.
"Of course, it's part of my ability." said Jiang Cheng.
"But, let some people have fun." said a Jiang disciple.
"That's not you besides, you experience more than those disciples have experience when it comes to training." said Jiang Cheng.
"Still, lets have some fun." the disciple grinned.
"Okay, Sect Leader Jiang, did you experience the headache every morning?" asked the healer.
"Yeah." Jiang Cheng answered grumpily.
"Why didn't you tell me?" Lan Xichen asked.
"It's just a headache. It's not that much." said Jiang Cheng.
"It's still about your health." said Lan Xichen but the man just gave him a look.
"Why does he not care about his health?" Lan Xichen asked.
"Remember Wanyin that you will never ignore your health." he said.
"I won't, okay?" Jiang Cheng asked.
"Prove it. Don't be stubborn when it comes to it." said Lan Xichen.
"Morning sickness." Wen Qing suddenly said.
"What?" Jiang Cheng asked.
"I know you know." said Wen Qing.
"Do you experience nausea, dizziness?" the healer asked.
"Yes, why?" Jiang Cheng asked.
"Food cravings? Food aversions?" the healer asked.
"What is the purpose of this questions?" Jiang Cheng asked.
"I just want an answer, Sect Leader Jiang." said the healer.
"I do, why? It's normal." said Jiang Cheng but the healer just smile.
"I won't ask you about mood swings since no one could really predict your mood in a day." said a healer with a chuckle.
Jiang Cheng glared at her.
"All of it are signs of pregnancy." said Nie Huaisang.
"Besides, when was this?" he asked.
"We don't know but I'm sure it is during Jiang-jiujiu's pregnancy." said Sizhui.
"ChengCheng, I will have a little fun of your actions during pregnancy. It could be more worse than mine." said Wei Wuxian.
Jiang Cheng rolled jis eyes at him.
"Sect Leader, you're pregnant." said the healer.
"What?" Jiang Cheng asked in disbelief.
"Really?" Lan Xichen asked in excitement.
"I love their opposite reactions." laughed Wei Wuxian.
"Look at Xichen-ge, he was so happy." said Nie Huaisang.
"Who wouldn't?" Jingyi asked.
"I remember that a-die once told me he always want to have a son or a daughter but when he meet a-ning, he didn't thought of it because they're both men but when he found out that a-niang was pregnant, he was so happy that he's willing to suffer the mood swings of a-niang." he said.
"He show me a book full of a-niang's rant and looks during pregnancy." he laughed.
"Really? What do you remember?" Wei Wuxian asked.
"It's about getting fat." Jingyi laughed which he received a smack from his mother.
"How did that happen?" Jiang Cheng asked.
"Should I talk about how the two of you made love resulting to having a baby?" the healer asked making the man blush.
"Is it just normal for healers to say that?" Jiang Cheng asked.
"It depends on experience." said Wen Qing.
"That's way too straightforward for me." said Jiang Cheng.
"Coming from the man who has been straightforward and blunt from the start." said Wei Wuxian.
"I mean, I'm a man." said Jiang Cheng.
"Nothing is impossible. Isn't that our sect motto is 'attempt the impossible'?" the healer asked.
"So, I'm pregnant?" Jiang Cheng asked.
"Is this even real? Are you two playing with me?" he asked angrily.
"Why are you doubting them?" Wei Wuxian asked.
"That's because it's not easy to believe that one day you woke up and find out you're pregnant where in fact you're a man." said Jiang Cheng.
"He might have never thought of having a kid ever since he and Lan Huan got together." he added.
"It's true, Wanyin." said Lan Xichen.
"Doctor, how long is my wife in pregnancy?" Lan Xichen asked.
"Three months." the healer answered.
"Three months? You're pregnant for three months and you don't know?" Wei Wuxian asked in disbelief.
"We also don't know." said Koang Cheng.
"Calm down, Wei Ying. Sister-in-law seems fine." said Lan Wangji.
Jiang Cheng glared at him.
"Wait, men have no womb. How could I house the baby, then?" Jiang Cheng asked.
"Since, both of you are soulmates then your bond will create a temporary womb for the baby while your golden core will form a barrier for protection." said the healer.
"And?" Jiang Cheng asked.
"Once you gave birth, that womb will automatically disappear. Your breast will produce milk due to maternal hormone until the child is able to eat foods." said the healer.
"Just like what Wen Qing said." said Wei Wuxian.
"I have another grandson." said Wen Rouhan.
"They're mine, Rouhan." said Qingheng-jun.
"Oh, I'm willing to share, my friend." Wen Rouhan chuckled.
"They're not yours." said Lan Qiren.
"That's where you're wrong, Qiren." Wen Rouhan grinned.
"Is this real?" Jiang Cheng asked.
"Yes, it is. You two are blessed with child that soon will be the successor of the Jiang Sect." the healer smiled.
"I suggest you take a rest, Sect Leader. I'll check about your pregnancy regularly and I want Zewu-jun to be always there when the mother needs you." said the healer before leaving.
"I won't leave his side, I promised that." said Lan Xichen.
"That's great. Support your wife, no matter what." said Qingheng-jun.
"I will, fuqin." said Lan Xichen.
"Wanyin–"
"Shut up." said Jiang Cheng.
"Wanyin, you didn't told me about you overworking." said Lan Xichen.
"When we sleep together, do you wake up again just to continue your responsibility?" he asked.
"He probably did." said Wei Wuxian.
"Wait, sleep together?" he asked.
"Well, they're both married so they sleep together either in Gusu or in Yunmeng. A-die loves to stay in Yunmeng though." said Jingyi.
"I have to." said Jiang Cheng.
"The Jiang Sect is depending on me." he added.
"That you have to ignore your health?" Lan Xichen asked.
"Are you lecturing me?" Jiang Cheng asked.
"No, I'm just worried." said Lan Xichen.
"Jiang Cheng, listen to your husband." said Wei Wuxian.
Jiang Cheng scoffed.
"Jiang-xiong seemed to always make Xichen-ge worried." said Nie Huaisang.
"That's normal." said Jiang Cheng.
"Yes, it's normal to worry about each other but, yiu ignoring your health isn't." said Lan Xichen.
"Won't you just let it go?" Jiang Cheng asked.
"No, not when you promise me to always be careful and caring of your health." said Lan Xichen.
"Fine." Jiang Cheng grumbles.
"Don't do that, again. From now on, I'll take over your responsibilities while you're pregnant. I want my wife to rest and out of stress." said Lan Xichen not leaving a room for argument.
Jiang Cheng could only grumble.
"That looks like an order from brother-in-law." said Wei Wuxian.
"As long as a-cheng listens to him." said Jiang Yanli.
"He does, all the time." said Jingyi.
"But, a-niang is still the rule in the family." he laughed.
*Two months passed
"Lan Huan, Lan Huan, wake up!" Jiang Cheng shakes the sleeping man beside him.
"Mn, what is it, Wanyin." Lan Xichen asked sleepily.
"I'm hungry." said Jiang Cheng.
"What do you want eat, My lotus?" Lan Xichen asked.
"I want to eat chicken, a fried one." said Jiang Cheng.
"Wait here, I'll cook for you." said Lan Xichen as he stood up.
"Oh, Jiang Cheng's hormones is acting." Wei Wuxian laughed.
"That he manage to wake his husband just for food." said Jiang Yanli.
"This is going to be hilarious." said Jingyi.
Everyone gave him a look.
"Is this the reason why you love chicken so much?" Zizhen whispered.
"How do you know I love chicken?" Jingyi asked.
"I mean, it's very obvious." said Zizhen.
"Or just so observant of him?" Jin Ling whispered at him.
It was three in the morning and this is nothing new as Jiang Cheng loves to wake him up at such time, either to request for foods or a story or a song, that's just a part of the long list he requested.
"Here, Wanyin." said Lan Xichen as he arranged the food in the table and Jiang Cheng hurried sat on the mat but pouted as he saw the food.
"Why?" Lan Xichen asked.
"Yeah, why?" Wei Wuxian asked.
"Those fried seems so delicious." said Nie Huaisang.
"Damn, I'm getting hungry seeing that food." he said.
"We all are." MianMian agrees.
"Are they not going to give us a time to eat?" she asked.
"Looks like we should be practicing inedia to survive." said Wen Qing.
"ChengCheng look so cute with that pout." said Wei Wuxian.
"I am not." Jiang Cheng grumbled.
"I said fried chicken." said Jiang Cheng.
"It's a fried chicken, Wanyin." said Lan Xichen.
"I want fried chicken. I mean chicken wings. I won't eat that." said Jiang Cheng as he pushed the plate away from him.
"So choosy." Wei Wuxian teased.
"Blame Jingyi. It was just the pregnancy." said Jiang Cheng.
"You should have specified it in the first place." said Jin Zixuan.
"Tell that to the hormones." said Jiang Cheng.
Lan Xichen chuckled as he stood up, and goes to the kitchen to cook, again.
"Here. Enjoy the meal, Wanyin." said Lan Xichen.
Seeing the food, Jiang Cheng frowned.
"I don't want that." he said.
"Now what? It's a chicken wings, a fried one. Why don't you want it?" Nie Huaisang asked.
"Yeah, what do you want, Jingyi?" Jiang Cheng asked.
"Sizhui doesn't trouble Wei Wuxian that much so why are you like this?" he added.
"Because you spoiled me." said Jingyi.
"Why? It's a fried chicken and most of all it's a chicken wings." said Lan Xichen.
"Well, I want the one like what we ate last time." said Jiang Cheng.
"What?" Lan Xichen asked.
"The fried chicken prepared to us back then." said Jiang Cheng.
"In Tanzhou?" Lan Xichen asked and Jiang Cheng nodded happily.
"I want that one." he said.
"Oh my dear, you want your husband to travel in a cold wind just for a chicken?" Wei Wuxian laughed.
"I'm willing, Wuxian. As long as it will satisfy Wanyin's hunger." said Lan Xichen.
"And to see that adorable smile in his face." he added.
"Hey! I'm not adorable." said Jiang Cheng.
"It's almost four in the morning, Wanyin. I am not sure if the inn is open at this time." said Lan Xichen.
"But, I want that one." said Jiang Cheng with a pout.
"Who wouldn't fall for that pout?" Wei Wuxian teased.
"Pout a little more, ChengCheng. It looks good on you." he said.
"No, it's not." said Jiang Cheng.
"It is." said Lan Xichen.
Lan Xichen could only let out a small smile as he kissed his wife's forehead before setting off for the hunt of the most desired chicken of the night or day.
As Lan Xichen returns, he saw Jiang Cheng munching on the chicken he prepared.
"Don't tell me, brother-in-law travels for nothing because you changed your mind." said Wei Wuxian.
"Well, I'm hungry." said Jiang Cheng.
"I can't wait for his return when there's a food in front of you." he added.
"Wanyin, I thought you don't want those?" he asked as he put the chicken wings he bought on the table.
"I'm hungry besides, you cooked this." said the man.
"What about this one?" he asked referring to the food he bought.
"I want it." said Jiang Cheng with a wide smile making Lan Xichen smile too even though how exhausted he felt traveling in the cold air of early morning.
"Oh, it didn't go to waste." said Wei Wuxian.
"You look tired, Lan Huan." said Jiang Cheng.
"It's okay as long as I could see you like that." said Lan Xichen.
*Two months passed
"Ow!" Jiang Cheng exclaimed as he felt a kick in his belly.
"I swear, this kid is very annoying." he said.
"Hey? I'm not annoying." said Jingyi.
"Yes, you are." said Jin Ling.
"I'm just an active child." said Jingyi.
"Well, Jiang Cheng is the only one capable of calling his baby annoying." laughed Wei Wuxian.
Jiang Cheng rolled his eyes at him.
"It's just a sign of an active baby, Wanyin." said Lan Xichen.
"It's annoying and it hurts so it's annoying." he frowned but Lan Xichen just chuckled.
"Stop annoying your mother, Jingyi." laughed Wei Wuxian.
"Hey, it's not funny, Wei Wuxian." said Jiang Cheng.
"You're quite thankful that your son prefer to be a Lan even inside your belly so he doesn't kick but, Jingyi here is so active. A kick hurts, you know." said Jiang Cheng.
"But, I love you, a-niang." Jingyi grinned.
"That I'm willing to endure the pain for you." said Jiang Cheng.
"Is it saying that you love me, too, a-niang?" Jingyi asked.
Jiang Cheng scoffed and avoided his eyes.
"I hate you! How could you laugh when I'm in pain?" he asked, sobbing.
"Oh no, Wanyin. I'm just happy, okay. I'm not laughing at you." said Lan Xichen.
"No, you are! I'm fat and round, you don't like me anymore." he cried.
"Yeah, you're fat and round." laughed Wei Wuxian.
"What if your husband doesn't like you now." he teased, Jiang Cheng's taking the bait as he frowned.
"That's not true." said Jiang Cheng.
"Lan Huan won't lose his love for me." he added.
"Really?" Nie Huaisang joined.
"He promised me." said Jiang Cheng.
"Promise can be broken." said Jin Zixuan.
"No, Lan Huan won't fall out of love with me!" Jiang Cheng exclaimed making the three laughed.
"Is the hormones of yours on screen affected you, ChengCheng?" Wei Wuxian asked.
"F*ck off." Jiang Cheng cursed as he leaned on his husband's chest.
"That's not true, Wanyin." said Lan Xichen.
"I'm sorry for laughing, Wanyin. I will never lose my love on you." he added.
"You're lying!" Jiang Cheng exclaimed.
"Lans don't lie, Wanyin. Believe me." Lan Xichen said as he kissed Jiang Cheng's forehead.
"Liar." Jiang Cheng grumbles.
"Wanyin looks so cute." said Lan Xichen.
"I want to see you like that, everyday." he added.
"You want to rile me up?" Jiang Cheng asked.
"No, I want to see you being honest to yourself and to what you feels." said Lan Xichen.
"It's hard." Jiang Cheng whispered.
*Two months passed
Jiang Cheng is sitting in front of the training grounds while Lan Xichen trains the Jiang disciples.
"You're being gentle to them, Lan Huan." said Jiang Cheng.
Lan Xichen just smiled.
"We prefer Zewu-jun to train us." said a Jiang disciple.
"Then joing the Lan Sect." said Jiang Cheng.
"Don't be like that, they won't learn." he whispered to Lan Xichen.
"They will clearly learn something, Wanyin." said Lan Xichen.
"Don't be like that, they won't lear–OW!" Jiang Cheng suddenly yelped.
"Wanyin!" Lan Xichen immediately run to him and carry him to the healers.
"Just wait outside, Zewu-jun." said the healer.
"I want to be inside, beside my wife." said Lan Xichen.
"We can handle the delivery, Zewu-jun. You don't have to worry." said the healer.
"Oh, we're going to meet Jingyi in a few minutes." Wei Wuxian beamed.
"Isn't it more better if I'm on Wanyin side?" Lan Xichen asked.
"You'll just get worried that might add to the trouble." said Lan Qiren.
"But, my wife needs me." said Lan Xichen.
"I could survive." said Jiang Cheng.
*Few hours passed
"It's a healthy baby boy, Zewu-jun." the healer said showing the baby.
"Can I hold him?" Lan Xichen asked.
"We will bath the baby first then afterwards, we will bring him to you. You can come in, Sect Leader Jiang will be awake in a minute." said the healer.
"Okay, please be gentle on him, doctor." said Lan Xichen and the healer smiled before leaving with the baby.
"God, Jingyi looks so small." said Wei Wuxian.
"That's a regular size of a baby." said Jiang Cheng.
"My nephew looks adorable." said Jiang Yanli.
"Of course, I am." said Jingyi.
"Don't say something like that. Your head is getting bigger." said Jin Ling.
When Lan Xichen entered the room, Jiang Cheng was already awake with a tired eyes.
"Where's my babe?" he asked.
"The healers took him for his first bath." Lan Xichen answered.
"Aw babe." Wei Wuxian teased.
"What's wrong with that?" Jiang Cheng asked.
"You call it so sweetly." said Wei Wuxian.
"Because a-niang loves me so much." said Jingyi.
"Of course he does, you seemed to be the little joy of Jiang Cheng." said Wei Wuxian.
"And he's a brat." said Jiang Cheng.
"But, you love him." said Jiang Yanli.
Jiang Cheng didn't argue.
"Are you okay? What do want? Are you hungry? Do you want me to cook something for you? Perhaps, chicken wings that you craved the most?" Lan Xichen asked.
"Are you making fun of me?" Jiang Cheng asked.
"No, I'm not. I'm just worried that you do crave for foods. I don't mind feeding you." Lan Xichen smiled.
"And getting food you want." said Lan Xichen.
"You're clearly making fun of me." said Jiang Cheng.
"I just want to give whatever you want." said Lan Xichen.
"I will get fat if you continue that." said Jiang Cheng.
"Yeah, you know that your wife loves his slim waist so much." said Wei Wuxian.
"Oh you shut up." Jiang Cheng grumbles.
"As much as I respect your time together but, your son wants to be with the two of you." said the healer.
"Give him to me." said Jiang Cheng.
"Of course, Sect Leader Jiang. He's all yours." said the healer.
"Of course he's mine." said Jiang Cheng.
"Always, a-niang." said Jingyi.
"Even though how troublemaker I am." he added.
"That's mother's love, Jingyi. Jiang Cheng will choose you over and over again even if you did horrible, he will still accept you." said Wei Wuxian.
"I know. You both are always like that." said Jingyi.
After passing the baby to the mother, the healer leaves the family for their time.
"Our son is so adorable, Wanyin." said Lan Xichen.
"Of course, he is." said Jiang Cheng with a small smile.
"Hear that, Young Mistress Jin? A-niang said I'm adorable." said Jingyi.
"A baby you but, you at this age, you're not." said Jin Ling.
Jingyi glared at him.
"So, what are you going to name him?" Lan Xichen asked.
"Give the courtesy name, Lan Huan." said Jiang Cheng.
"I heard you wanted to name your son 'Yi' so I want his courtesy name to be Jingyi, Lan Jingyi." said Lan Xichen.
"That's beautiful, our joy." said Jiang Cheng.
Jingyi gave a challenging look at Jin Ling.
"Whatever." Jin Ling grumbled
"A-yi is our little joy and a little bit of trouble." said Lan Xichen.
"A-die!" Jingyi stared at him in disbelief.
"Yeah, a trouble." Jin Ling laughed.
"Hey! Don't laugh at me. You shared a milk with me when we were young, you're a troublemaker, too." said Jingyi.
"A-ling shared a milk with you? A-cheng is the one who feed him when I'm gone?" Jiang Yanli asked.
"Always." said Jingyi.
"Thank you, a-cheng." she smiled.
"It's nothing." said Jiang Cheng with a blush.
"What about the birth name, Wanyin?" Lan Xichen asked.
"ZhongYing, Jiang ZhongYing." said Jiang Cheng.
"Loyal and brave just like his uncle, Wei Wuxian." he whispered.
"Jiang Cheng?" Wei Wuxian whispered.
"It's a beautiful name, Wanyin." said Lan Xichen.
"My brother loves me so much." Wei Wuxian sobs.
"I don't." said Jiang Cheng.
"You can deny it all you want but the fact that you named your son like mine can't be deny." said Wei Wuxian.
"No winder he somewhat ended up like me." he laughed.
"You want him to be the memory of your brother?" Lan Xichen asked.
"Yes, as long as my son is with me, Wei Wuxian will always be with me." said Jiang Cheng.
"That means, he could end up with Wei-gongzi's attitude." Lan Xichen chuckled.
"Not if I'll break his leg first." said Jiang Cheng.
"Brother-in-law is right." Wei Wuxian laughed.
"Besides, in ChengCheng's heart, there will always be me." he said.
"My brothers are adorable." said Jiang Yanli.
"Poor a-yi's legs, though." she added.

Reference name:
*Jiang ZhongYing
Jiang = river
Zhong = loyal
Ying = clever, brave (to remind Jiang Cheng of his brother, Wei Wuxian)
*Lan Jingyi
Lan = blue, orchid
Jingyi = joy, harmony
Another thing for Jingyi's name is that the second character Yi have another meaning as a disciple of Gusu Lan Sect;
Yi = manner, etiquette
Don't think like I'm being unfair about the interaction between Lan Xichen and Jiang Cheng during the pregnancy because if Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian were just together, it would be more beautiful and sweet.
Sorry for the late update.
I feel asleep and forget to update and also there's a power outage here and it only returns just now.
Hope you'll like it!
